Here’s theory. When Strange said he only saw one seeable future, he knew starlord would punch Thanos, and that it was part of how they were gonna win. So while everyone thinks that starlord ruined their only chance to win, maybe it was actually key to them winning.

yeah i feel Captain Marvel and Thor should not be the ones to land the final blow as that would make her a mary sue and i feel Thor got real lucky with that attack in the end and thanos won't allow it to happen again. Most likely Tony will deliver the final blow as he did have a prophetic vision about the endgame and Is acknowledge by Thanos himself.

He already lost his mother at a young age, he lost his real father in a fight, he lost his step dad right in front of him, and hes now being told the love of his life died? Everyone forgot about how in avengers age of ultron, the Scarlett witch gave everyone a vision when they were fighting ultron at the place in the desert. She gave iron man a vision of his standing at a pedestal with all his dead friends around him. Maybe it plays a key part in endgame??
