Here's another thing you should ALL know about Freddie: During his last days, he was a fucking superstar of a man. During a recording session for what would be their last album, Freddie's health took a bad turn, worrying the staff and band mates. They'd suggested he take it easy and that they could finish recording another time. But what did Freddie do? He necked some alcohol, pointed to guy working all the tech and said "Turn the fucking mic on, love.", finishing off the recordings like a man. That one story always stuck with me and it's one of the many reasons why Queen was a hell of a band, and why Freddie was a hell of a man.

Oh!! He was just doing what immigrant Indians do. Work overtime even when they have a day or 2 left to live. Yes sometimes they also take alcohol to perform better. Non Indians would look at that as something legendary but Indians had seen so much of discrimination from British that if they had a chance of going bigger they wouldn’t stop at anything. Freddie Mercury was already BIG in the 70s, but I'd say his IMAGE became iconic after he grew a mustache in the 80s and even to this day Freddie's mustache is his most recognized feature. Plus, I don't remember that many rock stars with a solid mustache, maybe Motorhead's Lemmy and The Beatles in their mustache moment, yet that was a short period and to be honest their mustaches were weak (and I'm not including pop stars like Lionel Richie, Prince or John Oates) .

Fact (according to wikipedia but other facts support it): The Show Must Go On was one of Freddie's final songs to sing. He prerecorded the vocals for the last album before he passed away and Wikipedia says it was his last song to record, but it's Wikipedia, may not be true. Though their last album came out in 92', so I'm pretty sure he prerecorded vocals

Everyone who can call themselves a real fan of Freddie would love to know that he had children, but that's just not the case unfortunately.
