I disagree with your interpretation of Never too late. I kind of feel it speaks hope for those who are contemplating suicide. The use of "I" (I have left alone...) and "we" (we will turn it all around) makes the listener feel that they are not alone. Someone is there for them and they shouldn't take their own lives because it is never too late, no matter how hopeless the situation seems

A singer doesn't make a band is how I feel. If you couldn't adjust to Matt taking the lead you probably weren't a huge fan of their first album. Human sounded a lot like the beginnings of three days grace so it took a certain type of person to enjoy that.
