They missed the most amusing thing about the Universal vs Nintendo suit. It's the fact that one of the main points that helped Nintendo was that thirty years before Universal was the one getting sued over King Kong and they had proven then that it was out of copy write law in the 50s, never mind the 80s.
Well i knew Ubisoft couldn't have been creative enough to make such an intriguing story such as AC... Ubisoft, what happened to you...? You used to be my childhood friend. Remember when you made the classic Rayman games... Rayman Rayman Revolution aka Rayman 2: The great escape (Rayman Revolution preferred thank you) Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havok Rayman M (multiplayer) And then yo shifted to new territories with Rayman Raving Rabbids series and they were fun. The three first were fun and i was really hyped about Rabbids Go Home how cool that was :D (never played that and i regret that sorely...) But after that it all got downhill... I think when we hit 2010 you really started to show us the worse side of you. Starting with such as Prince of Persia Forgotten sands then aiming for more mature games such as Tom Clancy lineups, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry etc. 2012 however of the new you Ubisoft was a golden year since you brought Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 and despite AC3's reviews, i still found it thrilling. But now you're going downhill for real. Of the new you i was hyped for Tom Clancy's The Division but you turned that into a meh fest and Steep was really just a First person perspective openworld SSX. And really Watch Dogs is BORING AF. Oh and your new logo is hideous... I do not dare to hold my breath for AC Origins because i know that it will not stack up to the Ezio Days. You did tho save Rayman from total annihilation with the 2D plattformes Rayman Origins and Legends but if you could save the 3D Rayman games again, i might have fate in you after all.
when I first found out about RU-vid (10 when I got my ipod touch) you're one of the first channels I found and I loved you and because of that you're still one of my favorite channels.
There is always someone who watches these watch mojo videos, just to comment that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel. Whether they are right or wrong is up to you.
What about that time where this one person who says he has telekinesis sued the Pokemon company who says they copied him by having alekazam being based on him
Jack Thompson claimed that he'd donate a large sum of money to charity if a game was made about murdering the employees of video game companies. He was so hellbent on the idea that kids imitate gameplay that he thought no company would attempt this out of fear. Well, although no major company responded to his offer (most likely because nobody would buy the game) with the internet being the internet, teams of smaller developers made loads of games based on this concept. (My favourite is I'M O.K.: A Murder Simulator.) So, there was a happy ending, right? No, Thompson never gave a dime to charity. Then again we got some good laughs out of the freeware, and if I remember right (I could be wrong) somebody else donated to charity on "Jack's behalf".
Anyone who tries to sue a video game company because "it ruined my life" seriously needs to sit down and think about how low they tried to sink just to get some money then need to be sectioned indefinitely for such absolute stupidity
I'm suing video game companies for making me think that if I stand in one stop after getting injury, I'd heal. LIES!!! ALL LIES!!! but the cake is the truth.
Hey, didn't some guy in the US tried to sue "Epic Games" because he thought the company used his face and personality to create Augustus Cole from "Gears of War"?
I knew the top picks would involve the oh so controversial series about vehicle theft made by rockstar games and take two interactive involving crime and an open world gameplay aspect named by the titular concept known as the grand theft auto series.
What about when Jack Thompson also sued Midway when Mortal Kombat Armageddon came out? MKA had a Kreate a Fighter feature where you make your own fighter(which everyone knows about) and someone modeled their fighter after Jack Thompson and took a picture of it and uploaded it online. Jack Thompson saw the picture and sued Midway for using his likeness in the game without his permission; unaware of the Kreate a Fighter feature. This is another example of a quickly thrown out lawsuit that was filed by this jackass😂
I was hoping that POS lawsuit had been dismissed, not hearing anything about it in any gaming news channels, other than saying "Nintendo's getting sued... again!" Has it been thrown out or dismissed or even ruled in Nintendo's favor?
I know this might be irrelavent but, when i was a kid i was in some store looking at some weights. I didnt even touch them and one came rolling down. The shelves in that isle were at a slanted angle. Anyways i almost broke my toes, they were smashed open. When i came back a few days later the shelfs were completely changed. Which i did something about it lmao
Manga Novels vs. capcom Morrigans design from darkstalkers in 1994 of which that capcom stole a novel reference called Night of the succubus "His novel "
in 2016, sons and daughter of deceased Angolan guerrilla fighter Jonas Savimbi, sued Call of Duty Video games for depicting their father as a barbarian
So some of these lawsuits don't have settlements? You can sue anyone for any reason. Surely there's countless people who tried sueing gaming companies for the dumbest of reasons
Seriously who wrote the script ??? at #2 Jack Thompson sued Rockstar not SONY and at #1 Lindsay Lohan maybe sued TakeTwo in 2014 not 2004 , in 2004 Rockstar and TakeTwo didn't even have in think about to create GTA 4 , and there might more mistakes like this but this ones stuck out on me.
