Just like in heroes in Marvel or DC, the Power Rangers can't always keep their idenities secret. For this list, we’ll be looking at the instances where the Rangers were accidentally unmasked or willingly revealed themselves to family, friends, or the public. Beware of spoilers ahead, or you’ll be just as shocked at those who found out. Our countdown includes Wes Collins from "Power Rangers Time Force" (2001), Zoey Reeves from "Power Rangers Beast Morphers" (2019-20), Tommy Oliver from "Power Rangers Dino Thunder" (2004), and more! Nah, #1 should've been the In Space finale where Angel Grove learns who their protectors were (or at least that generation of rangers). Heck, I would've taken Tommy's reveal as the White Ranger to the OG MMPR team as #1 instead of Billy to the newbies who became the second MMPR Red/Yellow/Black Rangers.

I have to agree, especially on the ground that the In Space finale was originally done as the ending to the whole Power Rangers franchise due to Saban not knowing if it will continue (especially after Turbo was a ratings bomb).

I am honestly a little shocked that Number 1 isn't Power Rangers In Space. That is Bulk and Skull's finest hour and one of the single most meaningful moments in the entire series. The Rangers were at their lowest low and when the heroes needed heroes, the ordinary people of the city, led by Bulk and Skull, did the extraordinary. The impact that their lives had on the world, comes back to give them the strength they need to fight once again and by revealing themselves, they acknowledge that the powers are not what make a hero.

@Jinx Guardians 2022 Pua's death, while still tragic, becomes a little less sympathetic once you delve into the events leading up to his death. He was facing a prison sentence for domestic abuse after verbally and physically assaulting his wife while under the influence of alcohol. Not wanting to go to prison he chose to off himself instead.

Well one thing thats funny is how gekiblue from gekiranger had an episode where he was attacked by a mirror clone, which was played by the actor's actual identical twin brother. Meanwhile, in that episode's american counterpart, theo has a twin in the episode but is played by the same actor (which effectively makes his twin played by a mirror clone)

That's cause they are more like service rangers or military rangers than super heroes rangers. They don't rely on keeping identity like super heroes and vows to serve and protect similar to law enforcements.

The finale of PRiS was truly Bulk and Skull's finest moment. From bullies, to bunglers, and finally from bunglers to heroes. I'd argue that Bulk and Skull got the most character development of anybody in the series.

Honestly Bulk and Skull proved themselves true heroes on multiple occasions, as shown in the video in MMPR and PRIS, as well as during Zeo when they took out the force field to save the rangers. Zedd would have won when he wiped their memories, Gasket had the rangers trapped and free reign to do whatever he wanted, and Astronema had the rangers vastly outnumbered.

Countdown To Destruction should have been #1. That is the most well handled identity reveal ever. Everyone is demoralized but Bulk and Skull give a massive morale boost and then this line: "WAIT . . . We are the Power Rangers"

When I saw that episode of MMPR when billy had no choice, but to reveal that he and his friends were the rangers, I thought Zordon was going to be mad and strip them of their powers. However, I like how they dealt with it by making them alies sworn to secrecy and then they become rangers. The same in Turbo when Justin found out and Rocky did the only thing he could think off make him the new blue ranger to prevent him from squealing.

That In Space reveal in the season finale should've been number one. That Spartacus moment coupled with the reveal was easily the best one for me. Second would have been Wes's reveal to his father. Most of the other reveals were met with good feelings whereas his dad just grilled him.

I'd like to add to Shane's entry that that revealed happened while hhe and his brother was in a fear spell that makes Shanee fear his brother's reprimanding and, if I remember it correctly, Porter being afraid of letting his brother down. That is why is was my favorite identity reveal andn why I think it deserves a higher spot.

It was Harsher in Hindsight regarding Pua Magasiva's mental breakdown years later after Ninja Storm. Unlike Shane who overcame his fears, his actor succumbed to it.

Well, whaddya know? The #1 just happened to be one of my favorites: Billy’s unmasking from “The Ninja Encounter”. Because not only was it done in a justified manner (Billy needed his helmet off to breathe), but it also paved the way for Rocky DeSantos, Aisha Campbell, and Adam Park to become the next Red, Yellow, and Black Rangers.

I think a lot of people are missing that probably the main reason Billy was top spot was because his was the first. Up to that point we worried about what might happen if someone found out, because Zordon has been so adamant about their identities being secret. And suddenly Billy was put into a situation where he had no choice, and we had no idea if he'd be punished for it.

@@disneyerapowerrangers2923 technically I think he has been in every series as of Dino Thunder since he was Eddie there, he played Boom and voiced a couple monsters in SPD, he was Phineas in Mystic, Norg and I think he voiced a Fearcats in Overdrive, voiced Flit in Jungle Fury and played the human form once he returned to normal, voiced Satbot in RPM and that’s the best that I can do. I can’t remember if he did anything with Samurai

Devon could have told his father that he had a job at Grid Battleforce without telling him he was a Ranger and saved himself a lot of grief in Season 1. Interesting side note: Porter and Shane were played by real-life brothers Robbie and (the late) Pua Magasiva. I liked the story with Carlos and Sylvie. While she's annoying at first, when we learn that she liked having Carlos around because he reminded her of her late brother. It was touching.

How is Tommy's reveal as the white ranger not on here? Billy stumbled upon what Zordon and Alpha were up to before the team could be introduced, but had no idea it would be the former green ranger. Then Kimberly fainted when she and the rest of the team found out, an iconic moment certainly worthy of being near the top of this list. IMO #1 is from In Space (Bulk & Skull really stepped up once again), #2 is Tommy's coming out party, and #3 is the OG MMPR moment where Bulk & Skull finally discovered the rangers' secret identities (which was their whole purpose in life centered around that very mission, despite ironically having lost their memory of it).

I agree...In Space was the most iconic for me because the stakes were huge, they did it in front of like all of angel grove (including bulk & skull) bringing it full circle, and it was just cool to watch. It might've meant more if it was the OG rangers but they had all left unfortunately. Also, where da fuq was Justin for that fight! His dad seeing him morph one last time would've been cool too 🤷‍♂️

@@Handle...This. In Space was my favorite for sure, in general. An epic end of an era. But yeah, Justin didn't get a whole lotta love on this list either. He made an appearance before and it was part of his old team so it'd make sense for him to be there, but could be a number of reasons they didn't bring any of the other rangers in for back up as a collab like in Forever Red or the legendary battle from Super Megaforce. They did depict various rangers off fighting their own battles when it was all going down, like some were dealing with Rita, Zedd, and Divatox. Adam was also in an earlier episode (albeit with his damaged OG morpher) and considering they did a TMNT crossover in the series, even the ninja turtles could've showed up to help haha.

Did you mean Tommy's reveal in White Light? I thought the list was for times that rangers were revealed to non rangers or those not involved with the power team. I guess the same reason the Gold Zeo Ranger isn't on the list. Hey, there was Trey being revealed after a whole lot of random people(including Skull) were suspected to be him then Tommy was seen leading a new candidate back who turned out to be Jason. Or Tommy as the Green Ranger, in Green With Evil it wasn't until part 4 that Tommy was revealed to others in the show, but only to the rest of the team. But it was only revealed to the rest of the Power team, not to non rangers. I'd have put Tommy's reveal to his brother as one of the top 10 instead of an honourable mention.

@@angusking1593 well the #1 they had on the list was the rangers reveal to what would soon be their replacements, and then revealing those replacements to the og rangers. And #5 on the list was Tommy's reveal to the Dino Thunder rangers. Even so, Tommy's white ranger reveal could've at least been honorably mentioned along with his green ranger reveal.

It doesn't exactly nor necessarily count tho. They want the list means to reveal themselves outside of the ranger group. Just like cam and Kruger. All the rangers did was look at the shadow saber and just put 2 on 2 together. Plus it's no surprise to us viewers if the mentor shows up as the main cast it's a no Brainer that they r gonna join the team later so they can coincide with the sentai series. Like rj from jungle fury who looks like merrick from wild force we all know he's gonna become the wolf ranger 16 ep later. Also the reason why only dinothunder existed on this list bc they didn't know tommy then

The planet explodes?? Not sure, but I know 2 out of those 3 would never happen, either due to licensing issues, or certain parties not agreeing with each other. Sucks we never get proper live-action cross-overs as much, since the ones you mentioned only happened in the comics, one came true in live-action, and people I think are skeptical about the comics, wish they weren't

Answering your question to what would happen if Power Rangers crossed over with Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Captain Planet, the planet explodes from the absolute chaos of what's going to unfold, but would also be unlikely because of the logistics of this cross-over to come to fruition

Astro Megaship was a nice design for the base itself but it didn’t have very good security either since look at how many times the villains could just teleport in there. SPD was another instance since I recall at least three maybe four instances where someone got into the base RPM was another one but really it was generally the Tenaya hand that got in

I think the End of In Space is the best time, because it works well, the people of Angel Grove, make a stand against the invaders, sure their city been battered a lot over the years, but the rangers have done their best to keep damage to little as possible and earned their respect and to honour that, they make the stand showing true courage and the real rangers actually reveal themselves publically for the first time to the masses because they have been given hope, I'm sure Zordon would approve of that, while it breaks one of his rules, it was a critical time and easily forgiven, of course, the message from that scene is loud and clear, never give up and there is always hope, most of the others were about developing the characters, but the In space one, is different, of course, Bulk & Skull with the professor join the battle and show up a side that rarely seen to their characters, where they have courage to fight for what right!

Not to mention the fact they could just outright blackmail them. Or just use that knowledge to their advantage and launch an all assault on them in the homes while they're separated and asleep

The story between Wes and his dad carried Time Force. One of the most dramatic storylines the Power Rangers franchise with a rather satisfactory development. Which makes it my favorite PR season

It's crazy how in 29 seasons of Power Rangers, only three seasons, Lightspeed Rescue, SPD, and RPM have the Rangers' identities known to the public. It's also crazy that in In Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, and Ninja Storm, the teams have bulky and pretty obvious morphers on their wrists. I don't think there's any way that someone could mistake them for wristwatches.

Honestly, the character arc of Bulk and Skull from bullies to dependable allies really warms the heart. I still cry every time I see the scene from Rangers in Space where they lead everyone to chip in and help. I love a good redemption story, IDK what it is. From MCU's Andromeda to DBZ's Vegita, I love seeing villains and anti-heroes redeem themselves. Makes me emotional every time.

I know Turbo isn’t everyone’s favorite, but nothing for Justin finding out the Turbo Rangers’ identity? That sealed his entry on the team, plus it was a theatrical event. Honorable mentions also could include Jason as the Gold Zeo Ranger reveal and Tommy as the White Ranger reveal.

Yup that was such a good identity reveal especially his reaction regarding Leelee being the daughter of the vampire that tried to kidnap him and Leelee actually apologized for it which was a nice touch since it was actually her suggestion that she thought he could have been the Gatekeeper that the Oracle had brought up
