Aang and Zuko are both amazing characters, Katara and Toph both bring the girl power to the show, Azula is definetly everyone's love to hate villain, and Iroh is a wise old man that everyone wants as their grandpa. But Sokka is probably the most relatable character in the entire show becuase he brings the comedic relief but yet brings the great leadership that Team Avatar needed.

If you look up the original unaired pilot episode, you'll see a very different Sokka, he was much more brooding and angsty (Much like his movie counterpart) but when the producers heard voice actor Jack DeSena do his vocal warm ups by performing all kinds of crazy voices, they decided to change Sokka's character to incorporate them

okay no one is going to talk about how sokka was able to learn sword mastery better than the elderly sword master in just a few days

I have watched this series over and over. The last few times I have watched it through certain characters. Sokka not being able to bend is one of the best things about him. It gives him time to come up with a plan instead of rushing into danger because you are a Bender.

Sokka is the type who's really lacking in self confidence despite his bravado. Some of his best moments were ones when he didn't have time to second doubt himself and just plannes/did things on the fly

The library research should have been number 1, Sokka literally put together an entire invasion plan from one scrap of info.

I want a series of them as adults so badly. Catching glimpses of them through Korra is not enough. Aang turned out awesome, sokka was brilliant enough to earn a place on the council, Toph founded a police force.. who else wants to see the founding of republic city?? Along with their adventures. It would make for a good drama...

I liked the picks, however I think Sokka taking down the airships is number one, before the boomerang thing. He shows leaderships, comes up with a great plan to defeat all the airships counting on his friends assets, protects toph when she can't see, get to show his swords and boomerang abilities, while staying the sokka we know, joking around.

I'll give you some: -The time when they're scamming people in Fire Nation -When Sokka is too greedy to find information about Fire Nation and made Wan Sin Tong mad and made them lose Appa -When Katara steals Waterbending Scroll from pirates and made them getting chased by pirates and Zuko -When Aang lying in Great Divide episode -When Katara torturing The Fire Nation Soldiers with bloodbending -When Toph, Aang and Sokka got distracted by Azula in Eclipse episode to find where Ozai is which honestly, they could just ignoring her and find it herself. The result is she provokated Sokka by saying she got Suki as their prisoner and then the Eclipse gone anddd they can't find Ozai and made Sokka and Katara's dad surrender himself -The time when Katara mad to everyone because no one understand her pain to lose her mom and she said it in front of Aang who lose his entire Nation by Fire Nation, Zuko whose mom is get banished and even Sokka who has already moved on a long time ago -The time when Katara and Toph are childish fighting when Toph training Aang.

Sokka gave me hope. I was often perceived as not very smart, but I think outside the box and come up with solutions. Now many people asking me for advice and it makes me finally feel so happy that I can help others.
