Stephanie always got the best storylines, in my opinion, from peer pressure to worrying whether she should blow the whistle on a classmate's abusive father. Jodie acted those storylines so well for her young age.
Definitely! Hey,wasn’t this the first time that the talked about how to deal with difficult and!or awkward situation and that no matter how difficult it maybe, always best to tell the truth.
Stephanie was the most talented and funny one out of the three sisters. She doesn't get enough credit for her role in Full House. She was supposed to be the breakout star of Full House and have the popularity that Michelle had but Michelle ended up taking the spotlight from her and ended up being everyone's favorite. I was glad when they made Fuller House because Stephanie finally started getting the recognition that she deserves.
I loved all 3 sisters but Steph was Def my fav, I found adult DJ more annoying than kid/teen DJ and Michelle was cute and adorable in the beginning but became a brat in the later seasons of Full House. I loved when Steph had Joey go with her to the sleepover but ended up running back home and DJ went with her instead knowing how upset she was that there Mum wasn’t there, that was my fav DJ & Steph moment. I really liked the bond those 2 had and continued on in Fuller House. Steph’s good storyline’s didn’t stop either, she found her true love in Jimmy, was an amazing and supportive Aunt to DJ’s 3 boys, was just as equally supportive with Romana and found an unbreakable bond and friendship with Kimmy!
@@keirarees3179 Stephanie is my all time favorite Full House character. Jodie Sweetin had comedic talents. It's her, not the Olsen twins who makes me laugh, And yet, the latter became the breakout stars. Not fair
It doesn’t matter weather it was as a child or now as an adult Jodie killed it as Stephanie. She had many great storyline’s, acted them out brilliantly, both DJ and Stephanie dealt with peer pressure and feeling the loss of there Mother. One of my favs was when Becky couldn’t make it to the honey bee sleepover so Joey went instead, after things went sideways DJ went back with here after one of there many sister talks, I still tear up with that one. How I wished Fuller House was still going.
Max and Stephanie’s relationship reminded me of Jesse and Michelle’s relationship. Those moments between Stephanie and her nephew in season one of Fuller House were so sweet.
Unlike a lot of its contemporaries, when Full House tackled a serious issue, they never did it in a clumsy, ham-fisted way. The issue was introduced and resolved in a manner that was respectful to the seriousness of the issue at hand and organic to the characters and the show. "Silence is Not Golden" was probably the best example of this trend.
Stephanie was a real character. My very favorite episode of her was when she was a young dancer, and crashed Joey's Rambler into the house, then wanted to escape to Mexico. The only time she kind of laughed in that one was when she was in the closet, and how she got into that crazy coat, we will never know. That was a classic episode with her!! Also when DJ was babysitting her and Michelle, then Stephanie and Michelle got dressed up in their dad's clothes and had his wedding ring, then it got lost in the drain, and she went downstairs to have the adults sing "When You're Happy and You know it........" Classy Stephanie!!!! ( And in today's episode, she wanted her name changed to Dawn)
I still use the 'how rude' Line every once and a while. I forgot is was from Stephanie, i slightly remembered it was from something i really liked as a child
love her big time from anything she says to her dancing her ability for sass she ultimately brings her character to high standards also need to expand this list with the other characters as well now that's absolutely fun right there
I’m surprised this wasn’t mentioned as it’s one of my favorite Stephanie moments. It’s the episode in which she sticks up for her classmate Charles who is being abused by his father. It’s all about Stephanie and uncle Jesse. Great episode.
That was the top of the list, but I liked the scene in that episode where Charles doesn't come to school the day after he tells Stephanie what's happening and Stephanie sticks up for him when the other kids start making fun of him. It's pretty brief but it shows that Stephanie really cares about Charles, even if they hadn't gotten along previously. I also like the scene where Stephanie says Michelle doesn't realize how lucky they are to have such a loving dad when other kids aren't so lucky and get worse punishments than they ever have.
In her book, "Unsweetened," she explains that the role of Stephanie was practically written around her actual personality. Jodie SHINED for them, and Stephanie was just her alter ego.
Jodie did not only act, she also danced and sang perfectly at such a young age. The twins were also really good, but Jodie had so much talent and was never appropriately recognized as the twins were.
Middle sister to middle sister Stephanie Judith Tanner has always been my fav, I can relate with her so much she’s every bit of what a middle sister should be like the reasonable one, the peacemaker, the helpful one always be kind and gentle with bit a sarcasm. Being a middle sister is a task is stressful and fun all at once let’s praise Jodie Sweetin for making a beautiful loving character we all love💕🦋🥲
Yes!! This was a video I didn’t know I needed! I was re-watching full house months ago and realized Stephanie had some great quips! Yes her voice was a bit annoying, but I can relate to that, so ;)
Jodie’s comedic timing is unmatched. For a child especially, her level of timing, sarcasm and humor was next level. When you compare Jodie at 6 to Mary Kate & Ashley at 6, Jodie is by far the better actress.
I loved grown up Stephanie in "Fuller house". Still kept her sass and attitude. I know that first season of "Fuller House" got some slack for her being a party girl and her sexy outfits but she is a grown woman now. In the 90s as a kid I had a crush on Steph (Jodie and I are the same age) and I wasn't a big DJ fan. In "Fuller house" I appreciate DJ more especially now that I'm a dad. Steph is still awsome. And Kimmie was not my favorite in "Full house" but I like her more grown up now.
Full/Fuller House is that cheesy show I love because it's nonsensical and makes me laugh (there are a lot of moments of pure silliness), but also hits a lot of issues that make me self-reflect. Death, abuse, peer pressure, loss...FH taught me a lot. I am close to Stephanie's age, and her character's ability to be upbeat and tenacious helped me through a lot as a tween. As an adult, I related to her heartbreak of not having children, and the rawness of that grief was tangible. Great top ten that makes me want to watch the show again.
Stephanie has always been my favorite. I also love the choices on the list, however I would have added the one where she stands up for Walter "duckface" when he gets bullied by his classmates. I always tear up when I see that scene, I don't know why.
Full House is an untouchable classic. Fuller House has some things going for it but some of the humor is pretty forced and is gonna be dated eventually.
Love Stephanie she’s the best aunt the best mom the best sister the best friend the best wife the best singer actor dancer and best of all worst driver
The only member of the Tanner household to crash the same car into the kitchen twice, and also the only one to avoid being in a car crash due to a wiser older sister
i jst finished full house and im starting fuller house... jodie was my fav out of the three, she has the best delivery, facial expressions and comedic timing...and at such a young age! it's jst sad that steph doesn't have enough good storylines, the story was mostly revolved around DJ and michelle. Dj being a teenager and michelle being the little one.
I agree, Stephanie was the best out of the three and should’ve gotten more episodes dedicated to her, but in later seasons she just faded in the background as the series started to focus more on Michelle and I could care less about her storylines because it mostly revolves little kid stuff and she comes off as bratty sometimes which makes it hard for me to root for her. I’m glad Fuller House gave Stephanie more time to shine.
Who could get forget DJ's "OH my Lanta??" EVERYONE until Fuller House!! She said it like... once!!! I've always said (and put it on another video years ago) DJ's real catchphrase was "That's ITTTTTT!!!!"
As a boy, I used to have a huge crush on Jodie. She's only a few months older than me. Back then I thought it was forbidden for a boy to like older girl. It really breaks my heart when in one scene, she kissed that Rusty kid. Felt like I cant breathe for a minute. LoL.
The biggest pet peeve I had about Fuller House... truly... whenever Gia showed up it only was to make her a rival of DJ's and make us supposedly remember that being a thing. It wasn't... They didn't even have that much showing that her & Steph even used to be friends (and maybe they're no longer close which is fine, it happens) but Gia was never a foil for DJ. I'm not saying DJ couldn't tell Gia wasn't GREAT for Stephanie when they were younger... but that never happened on the show. Aside from being Stephanie's friend, Gia was Michelle's Kimmy Gibbler. That was it!
Maybe the fact that we were so close in age factors in there, but Stephanie was always my favorite of the sisters! She was the one I related to the most. I always loved how she did her own thing and had a good heart. She also had some great one liners to boot!
I related to DJ more because even though I was an only child, I was the oldest of my immediate first cousins! Therefore, I was always expected to "set a good example" for my younger cousins and look after them at family gatherings! Although, being the oldest did have its perks! When my Grandma and Grandpa had their 50th wedding anniversary down in Texas where they wintered, I was the only grandchild allowed to go! My Mom and her sisters also went. However, my grandparents were only expecting my Aunt Cheryl, my Mom's youngest sister to come! They weren't expecting my Aunt Marsha, my Mom, and they definitely were not expecting me because I was supposed to be home going to school! We completely surprised them! It was awesome! Being the oldest does have its advantages!
I would've liked it if he had made an appearance on Fuller House. I would've liked to see what had happened to him since he got put into foster care at the end of the Full House episode.
In Full House I loved all the Tanner sisters, But when Fuller House came out I found out that I have a few things in common with Stephanie. Like DJ my older sister also has 3 children, and I can't have any like Stephanie. I also have a younger sister so I know what it feels like when all the attention is on the older or younger sibling. However I was never the fab dancer she was or the outstanding singer she would become.
Mojo actually posting this vid days after the jojo siwa/candace cameron issue. There were harsh comments on candace about her beliefs (that I don’t agree with) and other stuff including her career (people were telling her that her portrayal as D.J Tanner was nobody’s favorite sister/character in Full House). So, this video only proves it… funny
Good question it something the writers did. But I do know the creator saw he had a gold mine with olsen twins so he really focus on them a lot. I mean, look at the end of the last show. It was more about Michelle. The Olsen twins they grow with the show. I'm sure they saw they were more focused on. That's probably why they were so stuck on themselves later on. That is probably why they didn't come back to Fuller house. They probably wanted more money because they knew they were popular on the show.
Ikr? All I knew was when Stephanie started junior high she mentioned that the Jennifers went to different schools because of where they lived. I also wondered if Charles ever became a good kind man or ended up an abuser like his father?
