There are so many things wrong with each one of these. Not that it pissed me off, on the contrary, I cheered. Finally #8 treated and talked to the panel as the sharks speak to the business venturer. Not that the sharks even realized how they sound speaking to the entrepreneurs in that manner. But I happily cheered. They tend to treat people like garbage!

Mark Cuban is the best shark. What I like about him is that he doesn't hide his feelings if he knows that a product is crap. He and Kevin O'Leary make Shark Tank great.

Mark Cuban is okay but he's very overrated. Everyone always mentions how he has the most money so he's the "best" but most people dont even know how he got his money. It was by pure luck he sold the company right when he did, cause the company he sold was actually worth nothing right after it was sold for billions. If he had waited, he would not have been able to sell it. He even says it was pure luck.

Rolodoc is the extremely shady. Sharing patient info on a platform like that is easy for data thieves to steal patient info and cause a major shit storm of legal issues. HIPAA laws are put in place for a reason. These doctors should lose their licenses for this horrible idea

I can’t recall the company, but there was a total jerk on once. All the Sharks were out except Mr. Wonderful who made an offer. The guy accepted it and as Kevin was striding over to shake the guy’s hand, he says “but only if you will partner with Laurie.” Kevin spun back around on his heel and declared his offer withdrawn. Talk about “Surprised Pikachu” face!

The fact that Branson was on the sharks panel decreases the legitimacy of the sharks.. that was the guy who tried to compete with Coca Cola by making a cola called Virgin Cola... so coke just forced all the stores to swear they would never carry the knock off cola from Branson and his whole Virgin Cola scheme went down the tubes. The real scam is getting people to believe that everything on screen is legit. At some point, especially when they randomly get a bit too personal, you have to understand that it's because the ratings call for it. Because the real pitch being done here is an entertaining, prime time show to secure viewership. Case in point: if people stopped watching the show, will production continue to allow people to seek investments for their projects? Watching common people get stepped on, and billionaires fight = ratings gold.

Shark Tank is a reality show. Entrepreneurs come and pitch their businesses asking for a specific amount of money in exchange for a certain amount of equity in the company. The investor “Sharks” (a panel of highly successful business men and women) listen to the pitch and make an immediate decision whether to invest or not. If they don’t want to invest, they will say “I’m out”.

If you're only using this video to assume that, then no. Earlier episodes of shark tank the sharks were harsher, but now they're a lot more mellow. Still probably more assertive than the dragons though. It IS American (with the exception of Kevin) business people after all.
