Hi, great tips. Just wondering, if we did not get the WiFi package, that means WhatsApp will not be able to work right? I suppose calling each other via mobile phone will also not possible. coz I’m going with a group, so may need to stay connected with each other for plans and meeting area sort of arrangement. Am I right?
No worries! U will still be able to book the bumper car via the Royal app. Take note that for other activities (e.g. boogie boarding, rock climbing) u have to walk-in, as reservations via app are not allowed
I'm unsure if Guests Services is linked to the Seaplex system but I would suggest booking directly at the Seaplex! U can also show up when you'd like (to try your luck) because they do open up spaces when there are no-shows.
im going on a 17 day cruise on quantum, do you think ill still need to book or rush to do any of the activities given that its a longer cruise? I'd assume there wont be huge ques and wait times for things because people wont rush to do them given the 17 days ?
Hi Zoe, wow I'm sure 17 days will provide plenty of time to explore and try the activities! Nonetheless, I would go ahead to pre-book as it gives me the assurance that I'll get a chance to try the activity at least once! After trying the activities once, then u could perhaps decide if you'd like to make a second booking (I.e. don't overbook and deprive others of slots from Day 1 haha)
Hi Lynn, no I did not purchase the WiFi package throughout my cruise. However, it is cheaper to pre-purchase for the WiFi (this is what I noticed from the emails I received before boarding). I am unsure of any discounted rates after boarding, if any!
Hi! Great tips for the cruise...especially for first timer. :) May I ask if bottled water are not provided? Can i bring onboard the ship bottled water or i can only buy onboard? Is there weight limits for the luggages?
Only 2 bottles of water are provided on Day 1. You can bring more bottled water on board! Feel free to bring your own tumbler and refill them at the complimentary restaurants too. The limit is 90kg which is incredibly generous for a 4D3N stay. I didnt see anyone who had their carry on weighed before boarding- unlike what you might have to do at airport counters before boarding.
thank you so much for the tips!!!! can you please tell me if I can reserve the activities only when Im on board? we go on board in one week and I was trying to book slots for my children and shows but its not possible in the app :-(
Hi Maria- yes, u can only reserve (or walk in) when onboard. However, for the bumper car, u can reserve via the app (I refreshed the app while waiting to board and booked it virtually beforehand!) Good luck!
Thanks for the tips! Would you recommend going to the seaplex to make bookings, or go the flow rider first? My concern is that if I straightaway go to the flow rider, by the time I head to the seaplex there have been a lot of bookings made and limited slots left. Thanks!!!
Hi Brandon, the seaplex bookings only open at night (dinner time- when I checked with them once I boarded). Btw, the Seaplex is a 2 mins walk fr the flowrider. I'd recommend u head to flowrider first
Hi, yes it's similar to airline regulations! Usual cabin sized luggage can be used for carry on, as long as it can go through the baggage screening (x-ray) point!
hello! thanks for the very useful tips :-) may I check about tip #9 using USD onboard - do they only accept USD cash, and if you don't carry USD cash, does the bill get charged to the seapass and we make payment at the end in USD currency before disembarking? I'm wondering if I would be able to bring along my revolut or youtrip card onboard to pay for expenses, so I can avoid hefty currency exchange rates in credit cards!
Hi Heidi! I used USD cash at casino and settled my seapass charges in USD cash before disembarking too. Yup, I believe Youtrip/Revolut cards should be fine- as long as it's linked to your seapass. Just to be safe, check with Guest Services upon boarding to link the relevant card with your seapass ;)
@@phyllingphyne7198 omg! thanks so much for the extra tip it's very useful!!! does the casino only accept cash when playing or is it possible to still use the seapass?
@@heidiseah3823 When I visited, everyone was using USD Cash and I doubt you can charge to your seapass cos that would be playing on "credit". Best to bring extra USD and check w Guest Services once you board!
Hi, they were all on a first come first served basis so arrive at the venue in advance! If you're a suite guest, I'm sure your butler can secure a slot for you!
Hi, there is no 4G connection and u have to subscribe to the cruise WiFi (if you'd like to stay connected). You will still be able to access Royal app with no WiFi/4G.
Hey Kagome, the ship does not stay in s’pore water. It sails into the south china sea, up to m’sia and makes a u-turn back to sg. Passport is required.
