He is a treasure! I’m American, just a little younger than those who listened to him in the 60s, but I love his songs, mostly the way he sings them. Hearing him burst into song on the voice, no rehearsal, just sing, he is the inspiration for those around him. Ollie Murs, Jennifer, and Will all seem mesmerized when Tom sings! I love it! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Quite true. I used to listen to my LPs back in Philippines. He brought poignant memories of my teenage life. Listening to him sings and watched RU-vid is fantastic. He is indeed a legend. No one, nobody sings like Tom Jones.

Tom started singing in an era when sound systems are not as they are now and you had to rely on the power of your voice and proper breathing techniques. Notice how far from his mouth the microphone is compared to the person he is singing with. If the sound went out you would still be able to hear him because he could project his voice.

Sir Tom is unique in all respects - THE VOICE above all, the physicality, the sexiness even at 80, the charisma, the style, the generosity of spirit, his love of and devotion to music....so many other attributes. I have seen him several times in concert, and he gives it everything he has. Fans like me since 1964/65 know he has ALWAYS been magnificent. THE LEGEND.

Tom Jones is amazing. We still play his music in Jamaica, especially at the end of the party. We love the old classics, R&B, Blues, Soul, Rock, Gospel, and yes, Country/Western. people who visit are usually shocked to hear the old ballads being played and the young people actually know the lyrics.

One of the best of all time Elvis’s very close friend who he truly admired and loved and was so proud to call on stage with him when they played in law Las Vegas at the same time! I am still amazed that at 80 years old he belts them out like he did in the 60s !
