The first usb think is relatively easy to replicate by covering up the leads with superglue (make sure it's dry before attempting to put it in a usb port!) or tape. I can't help but think it's a bit silly to get this pre-made. It doesn't even have a LED, which would make it a lot more useful.
Ledger is good but if you google hardware wallets you'll find another secure, reputable and even open source wallet. And open source is usually better.
Backpacks/pouches, make your own stick a layer of aluminum foil in your wallet (Passport cover) between layer of packing tape this will protect your credit card's RFID chip from being read. Likewise being imaginative with any container and something is cheap is aluminum foil between two layers of material.
Two are missing is a Traveling Router like Slate AX (GL-AXT1800) that I use and Yubikeys. Yubikeys are self explanatory. So, I will go to the Traveling Router. From hotels, motels, cafe shops (inlcuding Starbucks), colleges, universities, roommating situations, etc... Traveling routers provide level 1 private network for security. As well as having the option of using VPN for additional security through that local network.
USB data blocker while using it will our phone stop charging after 100% or it will still charge and damage battery ?. 🤨😕🤔 On an airport if juice jacked can’t get aour data can they put high voltage in the circuit and short that circuit ?
Gl.inet Slate 750s travel router. RaspberryPi 3 with NextDNS CLI as local dns resolver on home network. Home router is a Peplink Balance 20x. I run multiple vlans to isolate guest and IoT devices.
Would it be hypothetically possible to strip the OS from a Chromebook and install a 3rd party privacy-oriented OS? The Google Pixels are well suited for running custom OS's. So it makes sense that Google laptops might also be well suited for that.
I use Veracrypt, but the only downside is that my computer takes forever to boot now. Well, I say forever, still faster than an old computer, but slow compared to a freshly installed Windows on an m.2 drive .
You can just make a pendrive that's able to boot multiple operating systems. I have a 32GB one with roughly a dozen bootable OS including Debian 32 and 64 bit, Manjaro, Hiren's boot, CloneZilla, Tails among others.
Any particular tool you use to accomplish this? Or is it merely a method? Someone mentioned Ventoy as a tool, but if there's a way of doing it without downloading some tool I'd love to know
Totally forgot about truecrypt! Edit: Is the "age" of device privacy iro data collection over? Is there any hope in terms of legislation, what information a company can and can't collect?
My WiFi is included in my rent, only the landlord has the password to the provider (I have the WiFi password of course) will a vpn help protect my privacy?
Yes that's correct... Also it's not good 4 ur health... All radio transmission have negative side effects... yes the power level is very low... but over time it all adds up...!
@@MaxMax-dq1lu Yes you shouldn't be using bluetooth but that thing about radio transmission having negative effects is complete bullshit. Absolutely zero evidence for that claim.
@@A7xeno U r welcome 2 have ur own opinion... But might I suggest u do some research... Anything which gives off a rf field can b detrimental 2 health... There is a formula which uses the frequency & power output 2 calculate the safe distance u have 2 b from an antenna... Also... 3 examples 4 u... 1. My friend used 2 carry his bank card in the flip of his flip phone... the magnetic field slowly wiped his card & he had 2 get the card replaced.! 2. My uncle was a telecoms engineer working with transmitters all day every day... in an unsafe work environment (in the 80s)... till he got leukaemia like a few of his colleagues..! 3. My Dad has Bluetooth switched on in his car... I don't (I use a non Bluetooth system)... When I go in his car I get a headache within minutes of getting in if he is using the phone... It's all about exposure... (as with radiation) If u only have a very small exposure ur @ a low risk... If ur doing it all day every day ur @ a much higher risk.!
My threAt model…. I attracted the attention of the three letter agencies. They use PCL and long range rfid like devices that harvest the Rf and provide 2 way data transmission Bc of the power densities that WiFi 6 and 5G has enabled. Everything I do or even write is later made known to me that it’s not a secret. Not hearing voices or seeing things that aren’t there, not a flat earther or antivaxxer, etc…. Am I screwed?

@@bobraible I found out soon after, that they were doing DNS hijacking, could not connect to a website using CloudFlare, would get blocked because they redirected it using their DNS.
If the government is after your data they will "ask" google/apple for it.. you should not use a chromebook unless you replace the rom with something secure.
Hey Techlore you should check out the pinephone this is no joke I checked it out it is an actual open source phone I found from a RU-vidr named Louis Rossmann group random live it has the Linux operating system on it
Ledger is one of the worst hardware wallets. Email IDs for over a million customers were leaked due to a vulnerability in their user database. Literally happened about 3 weeks ago. The best Bitcoin hardware wallet is ColdCard by Coinkite.
I wouldn't trust Mitnick because of how we know about him, he was caught. If his book was some sort of hacker manifesto and we still knew him by his alias then another thing that would be.
I like the channel as a whole but so many of these solutions are pointless. I do not mean to insult anyone because i do not consider myself good at tech but: 1. You can just bring your own power storage or not plug into public ones at 0 cost 2. That is cool, but what if i constantly remove and put it on? It doesnt seem that viable 3. Cool as a curiousity, but i encrypt mine and carry it just like that, 0 extra cost 4. They are too expensive, they would fit a tiny fraction of my enitre backup at most and maybe possibly would fit my absolute most basic data, they are cool if you hand your friends some data though without getting them to torrent from you or when the speeds are too bad 5. I have external cameras but not of that sort, mine are either scanners or ones i screw to my helmet or those that i attach to myself in public, they are way cooler and more useful 8. Raspberries are so boring, get a used thinkpad instead and it would function very similarly but with all the other junk already put together, unless one is very specific about the task, if not then used thinkpads rule 9. They are probably secure but if cops got interested in you - you would get a search warrant within 5 minutes and they since they are in power, possibly have some deals with these companies to help them crack the encryption, which by definition is as secure as a gate without any fence around it. As i mentioned, get a thinkpad and flash the bios to libreboot, set up linux and proper encryption and fear no individual nor any federal agency 10. Faraday cages are actually great, thieves sometimes use them or when they abduct people if the criminals are a bit smart. To would rather capture you and instead of throwing your phone away they would just put them in a microwave since that does the job when turned off, you can turn it on and annihilate the phone relatively but not really safely that way.
