1 . ALULA OLD TOWN.
One of the reasons it evokes such a deep sense of emotion is that it was actually inhabited in the not-so-distant past. AlUla Old Town is located in the narrowest part of the AlUla Valley. Built on a slight elevation, the town is overlooked by the Musa bin Nusayr Castle, a citadel dating back approximately to the 10th century.

Your adventure starts here! The Adventure Hub is AlUla’s centre for all things adrenaline. Just off of Harrat Mountain Road, you’ll find a café with lovely indoor and outdoor seating, an information desk for all of your bookings and enquiries and a safety briefing area.

5. HARRAT VIEWPOINT
AlUla is blessed with numerous lookout points that offer an elevated view of the epic landscape. Scale the black lava stone terrain of Harrat Uwayrid, and you’ll be rewarded with views over Dadan, AlUla Old Town, AlUla Fort and the AlUla Oasis. Stand at what feels like the edge of the world,

6. Maden Saleh - Hegra.
One of AlUla’s most famous settlements is Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, carved tombs are from around 2nd century BCE until 106 CE.

7. MARAYA GLASS BUILDING
Maraya is a stunning piece of art set in the desert canyon of Ashar Valley. Designed to blend into the surrounding landscape, it rises from the sand like a mirage. The state-of-the-art structure is covered in 9,740 mirrored panels reflecting AlUla's beauty, making it the largest mirrored building in the world, according to Guinness World Records.

8 - DADAN HERITAGE TRAIL
Amongst the most significant discoveries in all of AlUla is the city of Dadan, the capital of the Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms. The city, which was built meticulously from stone and astride the valley’s oasis, dates back between the late 9th and early 8th century BCE (Kingdom of Dadan) and 5th-2nd century BCE (Kingdom of Lihyan).

9. Al-Izam: A mosque marked with a bone in Al ULA
In the ninth year of the Hijrah calendar, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was on his way to one of his conquests. Finding himself 300 kilometers north of Madinah, he prayed after marking the Qibla using bones because he could not find rocks or stones. On that very spot, the area’s residents built a mosque to mark this important event and named it Masjid Al-Izam - Mosque of the Bones.
