I love these king of videos because my son is just a few weeks younger and I never really know what to look for (first baby here). I’ve got few new items in my Amazon cart now, thanks 😊
I highly recommend the play mags brand of magnetic tiles. We did our research before buying ours and various sources said these were even better than magna tiles. We waited until our son was two and a half to buy these for the same risk of loose magnets but so far we haven't had any issues with ours and our son loves them. We also love lovevery toys, mega blocks, lego duplos, animal figurines (Schleich brand is great but pricey), fridge magnet, and toy cars too. I stay away from plastic noisy toys or any very bulky plastic toys. Everyone likes something different, we do more of a montessori approach to toys. Thanks for sharing Kayla.
Hi Kayla! Just found your channel from your video “what my 8 month old eats in a day”. I needed some inspiration on what to feed my beautiful boy Julian. I loved the video and I’m now subscribed and trying to binge watch some of your videos. They are so helpful and wholesome💕✨🙏🏻thank you so much love!
Welcome! You would absolutely love her channel! The only video I can't watch of hers... Is her gift wrapping video!! My husband heard me screaming, "Kayla nooooo!!!"
The food truck is adorable I got it for my son birthday and he’s Riley’s age. As well as the water table. So convenient for summer especially in Texas heat.
I'm new to your channel and I love your videos! My twins turn one next week and I had no clue what to get them. I decided to order the pirate ship and some mega blocks after watching this - I think they're going to love them. Thank you for this video!
I needed this video kayla!!! My little boy (Ryker) is going to turn one mid may and I was just about to start gift shopping for him. So this video was just perfect! lol thank you!!! Girl you are my #1 RU-vid mama. I absolutely love your videos....your so inspirational and give so much good advise on pretty much everything and I have soaked up all of it. I need it because I second guess everything....Thank you again for what u do! ☺
My 13 month old LOVES those silly velco fruit too! I also found that the Melissa and Doug realistic fruit and vegetables were awesome too, and super complementary to them learning to recognize fruits and veggies! I love all of your food themed ideas; they're such great words for them to learn early!
My son’s birthday is next month, and I am a musician and was wondering whether or not to get him like a toy piano or a regular toy, or something more educational, but I would still like to stimulate him musically in a sense.
Thank you! My baby just turned one, and he's obsessed with our pots and pans. I'm going to look into the magnets, because it's impossible to make food while he's awake. 😅
We bought our son the soft set of cars for Christmas. He plays with them more now at 12 months than when he got them. He loves pushing cars around all day. I’d love to get him a standing play set if we had more room. Does Jackson like the ball drop that came in the 13 month Lovevery box? My son loves the original one and I’m interested to see how he does with the new one this month.
My one year old doesn't play with toys.. please guide me.. what should i do.. he is more interested in following me around the house and playing with everything dangerous stuff
Ah yes, cars haha. My little boy loves them, he would always bring them to me or my husband and expect us to make them roll forward while he runs ahead of them 🤭. I'm looking to buy him even more little cars this way later on he can play with them properly and I can get him this carpet with roads, buildings and car parks so he can play on it
Thanks for making this! My little guy is turning 1 in just a few weeks, so perfect timing. I have a question, I always hear you call Jackson "Godo", I know "Gordo" in Spanish means chubby, lol, I have always been curious if that is what you're saying or what that nickname means?
Yes, that means chubby in Spanish. It's just something cute to call the kids. In our culture it doesn't mean that we think they are fat but that they cute. I wish I could look as cute as baby with a little extras weight. That's why she calls them gordito/a. It's just a baby thing as I don't hear her calling Riley that anymore.
Instead of going for toys and gadgets, why not try something educational such as books or educational tools? if you're worried about fun factor, then there's options to have it custom made, such as the ones for *personalised childrens books*
Lady... this is a video ABOUT TOYS. Take your judgmental comment over to the Montessori vids where all the mothers spend their days worrying that their toddlers are having too much fun. Geez.
