not sure if anyone gives a shit but if you are bored like me atm you can watch all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my brother these days =)
First of all, let my thank you for all the nice videos you provide. Also, it's not a Trooper Armor but I like the Security Solider's Uniform that's available from the GTN.
Well, you can be a pseudo-sith trooper. Run a full sith trooper armorset with your Imp-agent and use the other talent tree who's name i just can't memorize for the love of god rather than sniper.
Actually the Stalwart Protector set from the Cartel Market does have one major difference to the Fleet models. It doesn't have the backpack/radio transmitter piece on the back. Which was actually the main reason I picked it up. I love the overall design of that set, but the backpack never really did it for me, so it's wonderful to have that variation.
I found the Galvanized Infantry set cheap on the GTN one day a while back. Every trooper I've made since now uses that set as the "official Havoc squad" uniform for their storyline. Looks amazing. I am really loving that Vandinite Asylum set though, never seen the trooper version of it, only the Bounty Hunter version (which is pretty cool in it's own right). Might have to craft a set for my higher level trooper.
@@Swtorista true it does look very dated compared to the newer gear, but it did receive a minor texture update when it was turned into adaptable gear. it was the second end game set I had; so it's just hard to give up. Fortunately Bioware gave us the opportunity to have more than one outfit.
The Stalwart Protector set is actually a trimmed-down version of the Colossus armor. Stalwart removes the backpack, leg paint, shoulder logo, and helmet.
My favourite armour set, regardless of class is the 'Xonolite Asylum' set. I really like the way it looks and it also reminds me of Clone Trooper armour, and is the closest thing as far as I know, to Clone Trooper armour in SW:TOR.
Love the blood splatter one especially when you use Dye's to change the blood color on each companion so you get alien colored blood green, orange, purple, black, pink Also if you play human you can get the blood splatter cosmetic for the face looks awesome on scoundrel smugglers or operator agents since they use shotguns or knifes
I tend to mix/match a lot of my Trooper armors. My favorite combo is the Red/white remnant set SWTORista mentioned, but I pulled that helmet out in place of the Havoc Squad helmet.
Never got it for my trooper but I loved the gear for my bounty hunter. I got it from the Rishi raid back in the day, I believe. Still use it to this day. And yeah, butt capes rule! :)
Idk about favorite trooper armor, but my favorite trooper helmet design is the type seen in the Quadranium Asylum set. You can find variants of it at pretty low level it works with pretty much any armor design.
I generally prefer the Electrum Onslaught crafted armor over the Quadranium Asylum set, but the kama on the QA set has a nice pattern (EO set kama is blank). One thing I keep hoping for is a color crystal slot on armors that have lighting effects, such as the Galvanized/Energized/Tactical armor sets, so that players have the option to alter the color of the effect as you can with blasters and lightsabers.
the hardest thing was trying to find a set without a backpack or butt cape. I wound up just taking aric jorgan's and using THAT as a costume for my trooper. Don't get me wrong, butt capes are cool, but sometimes I just want to look like a heavy armored wall of durasteel with nothing extra on. Edna teachings hold true... so no capes!
I don't have a set I use for my troopers but I did make an outfit for them. Outcast Helmet (craftable, old school crafting) Outcast Chest guard (craftable, old school crafting,) Transparisteel onslaught gauntlets, tempered lamanoid greave's (old school crafting,) and the Frondog cleats (cartel market item, I think.)
i too love the republic trooper armour set and am currently using a semi green set with a more scout trooper looking helmet while i play the storyline on taris, though the version i have has a camma. considering how much i love taris i wanted to have a custom set for when i finally got to visit the planet while recording a playthrough series on republic trooper's storyline
Another great video! Have you done a top 10 for famous SW characters (I.e. revan, ulic, exar, etc.) yet? Maybe you can do a top 10 cosplay outfit that you like making as well?
My trooper wears the the frontline veteran chest plate and leg plates then the Resolute protector helm, boots and gauntlets gives off the Spec force soldier Vibe really well
Nice video. Yeah you got it right. I am wearing the Battlefield Technician Helmet. You got to check out the animation on that. For my chest is the Toxic Demolisher Body Armor. I think this is a great look for Havoc Squad. However all of the armor sets you mentioned is spot on.
Oh my gosh! Thank you. I've been struggling to find an armor I liked for my trooper. Vandinite is awesome. Reminds me of one of the armors Shepard wore in Mass Effect series
I could live with the Havoc Squad armor if it weren't for the black backpack that clips horrible with any kind of blaster rifle. That's why i mostly use the "Stalwart Protector" for my character and the companions. Sometimes i use "Remnant Underworld Trooper" simply because it looks cool and it was a real pain in the you-know-what to get all parts.
I picked up the Unbreakable Veteran's Armor set while it was on sale when I had loaded up the game one day with my Trooper character. He has not switched that armor out since.
I love this video! You do a great job! I am trying to get the tactical infantry armor or the galvanized infantry armor, I am having a tough time finding these.
i remember way back in the day i had the old T2 (lvl40 i think) Trooper pvp set on my Jedi Knight and had so many people ask me how i got it was a great set
Even though I have a maxed Armormech and I collect armor from Heroic lockboxes, I thought my troopers looked great. I immediately looked for your #1spot set after seeing this video and found it for 3 million on the GTN! Thanks for the heads up! :)
My Vanguard wearing Vandinite Asylum White/Red dye and using Interstellar Regulators Blaster rifle Dorn. The red line on armor and blaster is really neat.
As a new player I've taken to watching these, and then checking prices on the GTN either because I like the set or to try and relist for easy credits. I found the tactical infantry set for under 1 million today. It was so cheap I'm debating whether I should just keep it or not. Thanks!
@@ctmarine9100 there's some trooper guards on odessen that wear a reskin of it, but I'm not sure the name of it or if it's obtainable. The HUD is the coolest part though
I'm not gonna lie I've grown really attached to the Vandinite Asylum Armor. Looks pretty cool with a couple of dyes. (have it dyed pink and black on my trooper). Also gotten attached to Havoc Squad's Armor set. Also painted that Black and Purple and god does it look amazing.
They do! The black and purple/black black combo make you look like you're actually fit for spec ops/night recon which I like that kind of asthetic to it if you're going for something militaristic. The pink and black dye I chose cause I like making my characters unique. (I'm also a huge sucker for pink cause it's an awesome color ^_^).
I tend to stick with cartel market Trooper armors for one reason; to have a standardized look for Havoc. Yes, you CAN buy the crafted and adaptive stuff, but once you unlock a cartel set in collections, you can pull it out multiple times for free.
Have you ever done a vid featuring a list of armor sets or weapons with holographic effects (like the Tactical Infantry set)? I only know of the Max-Tech rifle and the Black Nebula pistol.
My Troopers all wear the Tier 4 Gemini Combat Medic set. It's different than the other Tier 4 Gemini sets in that it has normal shoulder-pads. However, I don't see it available at that vendor now. I like it because I like all things shiny and Gold. 😎
I’m working on getting the Dread Host armour set for my Imperial Agent character right now, because I enjoyed Oricon and the Dread Masters missions a lot.
Actually, if you get the tactical infantry armor for one outfit and the energized infantry armor as another set, you can use them for rp to switch on and off the tactical HUD visuals. 7:52
There are two more Trooper armours worth an honourable mention and both are acquired before leaving Ord Mantell. First is Jorgan's standard armour which I believe is a brilliant basis for our Trooper's efforts to reconstruct Havoc Sqaud and remodel Republic Special Forces. Second is the Trooper MK-6 (Rating 30) set you receive for completing class and world missions on Ord Mantell. Personally I prefer the latter because it has excellent proportions and the rear mounted module isn't oversized like on the Trooper armour types with the pauldrons and bandoleers.
I just started with a brand new Vanguard, after watching yours, the story it's cool, i LOVE Vandenite armor, but i'm poor and i must finish the game to have it sight :( Will i ever have something cool at least one part of your collections… thank you awesome video as usual !!
7:41 not a full copy - the Stalwart set doesn't have that huge backpack, which is good for twi'lek troopers since their lekku doesn't clip through anything lol
My Cyborg Trooper is wearing Series 917 chestpiece, because it's 1000% more badass than just simple eye implant. (it also explains why he can swing that huge autocannon one handed like it's some tiny twig XD ) Most of my squad has Section X rep armor, except for Yuun (not really a frontline soldier in my eyes) and Aric (wanted something sniper friendly for him).
I feel so blessed to have bought the Tactical Infantry set for less than 800k back in 2015 Though I may be rolling in creds nowadays back then that was a huge price I struggled to grind
Damn it, I had a full set of Tactical Infantry armor and sold it to buy a Galvanized version because I like the blue glow better. Didn't know about the Tactical version's display. I can already see the GTN prices rising now.
Got lucky in the end and found a full set for 3M, put the money together little by little from all my toons and shipped it to my lightside trooper. It's beyond awesome, thank you for showcasing it!
