I Love how Floss appreciates his pet cat. I dont blow smoke up people but this guys videos are 0% Bs and 100% straight to the point. Perfect for someone as impatient as me. Shoutout Floss for being one of the few youtubers out of there to be active in the comments. Appreciate the grind
Floss is a legend and his review is like watching an action movie when the adventure never ends thank you for yet another awesome comprehensive review that was well worth the watch. Respect ✊
I'm 25 now and the skull "crushers" have always been my favorite headphones since I was 14. I haven't even thought about them in a while but man they were a game changer. Unfortunately the 1st generation "crushers" had unmatched bass and well...that was pretty much it. I mean a subwoofer *IN MY HEADPHONES* but the absolute heartbreaking flaw they *had* was there durability. Over all the subs kept kicking that should but after a couple weeks you'd plug it in that it would cut in and out of what you're listening too. Now unfortunately the cord was and it didn't have its own detachable cord. But I loved those headphones so much that I went through three separate pairs due that unreliable demon cord.
@@pcortezj the crushers had SHIT build quality...until the ANC :). no seriously, I went through 3 different crushers cuz the hinge broke in the exact same spot. I now own the ANC and this issue is gone. the only issue I have with the ANC is that the software is buggy. sometimes you cannot switch between noise cancellation unless you hard reset them.. also the bottom button doesnt work anymore. even still, the bass quality on the ANC's are multitudes better than the wireless crushers. even with these issues I cannot recommend them more. ive seen the faces of every person who tried my headphones and they are completely and utterly blown away by the sub-woofer-on-your-head-feel. best headphones in existence.
Hey Floss, Thank you for another great show brother. As a B&O EQ owner like your self I wanted to remind you to remember to update your B&O EQ Firmware to the latest Firmware version 6.1.2 if you have not done that already. This new firmware brings the most anticipated touch control that B&O had left out initially for some odd reason, that all of us B&O EQ owners were waiting for a very long time which was the lack of track control that had crippled this fantastic wireless earbud set to reach its fullest potential to be used as an every day driver with now total wireless freedom. This New FW 6.1.2 sets the Forward and Reverse touch function to 3x Tap for track Forward (Right Ear Bud) and Back (Left Ear Bud) now makes the B&O absolutely perfect because you can now control aspect of the sound including ANC adjustment and including the volume control easily makes the B&0 EQ a serious compatitor and the absolute best sound ever possible on bluetooth 5.2
In Floss We Trust. My rotation are the XM4 headphones, the Sennheiser Momentum TW 2 and Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro earbuds. I love all 3. The CX also have amazing sound quality if you want to save money.
L3P's are awesome once you get the ear tips, wings and EQ dialed in. I used Liberty Air 2's for about a year and decided I needed to have something as a backup so I decided to upgrade and keep the LA2's tucked away. LA2's always moved around and suctioned my ear but sound great otherwise(especially for $60) and I like the simplicity in the charging case opposed to the L3P's. I feel like I fumble everytime trying to get the L3P's in and out of their case but I'm getting used to it now. I love how the L3P's when they're in your ear, they're IN and not moving anywhere or suctioning the inside of your ear. Great design in my book and sound great. I got mine for $170 and wish I would've waited for them to drop to the $130 they are right now but oh well I'm still happy with them either way.
Pretty much my planned rotation. I have the Jabra Elite Active 75t, JBL Live 300tws, Senny Momentum TW2 and Soundcore L3P already. Just waiting for a decent enough price drop on the XM4's. I'm not paying over $200 for them when I never did for any of the others.
@@BoricuaBoy88 the JBL are in my top 5 of worst sounding earbuds, the high end eq is horribly high, they fall out of my ears easily and the mid eq is pretty bland and the base is to muffled, I highly suggest the Momentum 2’s if you want a smooth and realistic sound but if you don’t got the money go with the CX Plus’s those are just as great with warm and realistic sound all around
Been watching you for like 5 years Floss. You really are the best reviewer with a detailed real world review with a style all of us who have been following you since the beginning. Great work Floss
@@MrPipsqueak-oq9kw volume is not that loud. But overall sound quality and bass are TOP TIER. Like you have a live concert inside your ears. Excellent!
i’ve had my pair of B&W IP7s for quite a while and I absolutely love em. like you said, the only downfall is the battery life. I also have the Bose QC wireless so I dont really ever have too much of an issue tbh
I’ve been really looking forward to this video! I’ve been a subscriber for a while now, but I just gotta say that many of Flossy’s videos have helped me immensely with my buying decisions. Always on point, detailed, and honest. Keep up the phenomenal job, Floss! It’s gotten to the point where my husband now says, “Oh, you’re watching A Flossy video. What gadget are you buying this time?”😁 I only watch Flossy’s videos when I’m seriously considering buying a new treat for myself. Thank you for all your incredible hard work, Flossy!
Why would you think some AirPod pros from 3 years ago would be better than the latest releases from the big boy manufacturers? Pass me whatever you’re smoking, I wanna get high too😂😂😂
Sennheiser True Wireless 2 sound better, and have none of the volume issues the Sonys have. I found myself going back to the Sony XM3 over the XM4, more because they never gave me the volume problem. I use an Astell & Kern player and I couldn't get the music high enough, it was ridiculous. Then I found the Sennheisers. Not looked back since .
My favorite is Galaxy Buds plus. Dont have ANC. But it has the best battery life for the price in one of the smallest size. And if you have multiple samsung product you can switch audio seemlessly. I can even listen to my TV with it.
Mine too and I came from Airpods Pro. I hated the Airpods because of the battery life but both the sounds are really good. On rtings.com the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus competes with many top of the line earbuds.
I drive a ride on mower for work and the WF-1000XM4 works freaking amazing for noise cancelling, can barely hear the big engine behind me all day, and get 1-2 full days of tunes, best investment imo
@@JayMillyPowerKingdom if you use the Sony app, you can maximize the bass and focus it to your liking. They may not be the loudest that shake your ears, but the bass is crispy clear and has great depth. Yes, the price may seem steep. You're really paying for refined audio and the God-tier noise cancelation. It's really hard to put it into words. However, if you are someone who enjoys crystal clear audio or someone who appreciates the freedom to test and tinker with equalizers, these buds are for you.
@@bowzer2405 word I'ma try and get em refurbished like the only the xb700 is missing is the app I have buds 2 I'ma out u on to something so cook makes cheap headphones compete the app is call Wavelet makes your music that much sweeter
I'm so glad I found this channel whilst researching earbuds. Great voice, thorough research, lean and articulate presentation, good shots of the products from all angles, White Shoes always welcome in frame and a good energy throughout. I've been on a video binge even for products I wasn't interested in, because I enjoy the format so much. Just thought I'd drop a note of appreciation.
He’s not kidding about the Earfun’s. I bought a pair Flossy recommended and after coupon, I think I paid 40 bucks. Sound really good, connect easily to my iPhone and the noise cancellation is very good for the price.
@@youngjacuzzi3676 no but they’re dang near as good especially for the price I’ve had the pros and the earfuns and imo the pros especially right now with them being 2 years old I wouldn’t even think twice about buying the earfuns over the AirPods bc for me they’re just not that much better
@@JoshForet honestly if you’re anywhere where it’s windy call quality is trash on the ear fun pros but with my AirPod pros I never had complaints in the wind or while running so the AirPods are much better in my opinion and from what I’ve heard the AirPods have some of the best call quality compared to other earbuds
@@FlossyCarter anytime I buy any electronic I only watch your reviews. Thanks for making me buy Sennheiser mtw2’s they just had a malfunction after 2 years of hard service and now i must buy the TW3s
Always appreciate these Top 10 videos and the work you put in with giving a quick rundown of what makes each one great (and even the negatives that hold some back). Would love to see you cover the JBL Reflect Pro+ at some point because they seem to have a crazy good microphone
Flossy told me the Sennheiser CX Plus were the truth and I've loved mine the last 2 months! Taking a trip to Dallas in April so we're really going to test the ANC on the plane but quality wise a 3x Major Go for real!
Much respect to the comprehensive rundown of all the headphones. Love the atmosphere on your channel; chill but efficiently informative. Love the assistance Shoes provides too. Keep it up and I'll keep watching. Peace brother 🔥
I’ve watched so many people do reviews , and this guy don’t miss. Hits only the important parts and straight with it . Keeps it 💯 best guy out there wish I found him a while back ago
Floss, personally I would've put the Soundcores on my top ten, or at least honorable mentions. The price to performance was out of this world. Easily lived up to all the hype they got.
The soundcores are 10 times better then the xm4's. I couldn't believe how bad the xm4 was. The EQ pretty much shuts off at about 60%. ANC was actually bad as well. Soundcores beat them in every aspect.
Been watching this for like 10 years. You're a real one my nigga. Saw your content for the first time on my Palm Pre. I'm 32 and have been watching your shit since I was a "kid" basically. You keep it a buck and for that I tend to watch your phone reviews before I buy a phone.
Thanks Flossy. I finally caught a sale on the Sony 1000XM4 Headphones! They are a huge step above my Bose QC25S, which I’ve retired. Love the Sony’s, however the Apple AirPod Max should be quite a bit better having a much higher price point. But how much better can you get than the Sony 1000XM4 and that rich bass. 😁😅
In terms of sound quality, the sony xm4 are second to none. Airpods max are better in different ways so it depends on the individual's personal preference
@david I’m like floss I’m a headphone, earbud nut or enthusiast haha yea sounds less crazy but anyways I’ve tried most headphones and earbuds the normal consumer would buy and then some but the AirPods max I felt were way over priced especially what u get for it. Now yes the build quality is great and all the little things apple does with their tech like the bra and stuff like that is always on point but when it comes to noise cancellation id rate the xm4’s slightly higher with the momentum’s third in this group now that’s not saying they are horrible but just not as great. Now when it comes to sound quality the Momentum’s are far superior to either of the Sony Xm4 and airpod max. The build is on the heavier side but I like the old school look they have to them and the app is great as well. So here’s how I use my headphones for watching regular content like a game on tv or RU-vid maybe even Netflix I use the xm4’s because of the noise cancellation and comfort being so light weight. They also have an app to beef up the sound but they aren’t what most people like to hear when they listen to music. Most people love bass (as do I) and loudness. The xm4’s wont make you say wow those are spectacular but what they are great at they really do excel. Now when I listen to music or watch movies with action in it like explosives and what not I use the momentum 3’s. I do get more fatigue with them but the sound is so beautiful especially when you play with the eq settings in the app. And I use my iPad a lot and I still don’t use the airpod max’s because they just don’t do it for me. Now music and everyone’s ears are unique so what sounds great to me may sound ok to you. But for the most part most consumers base their opinions or what they like or don’t like on loudness and bass. So if that’s what u want and don’t want to skimp on the music or muddying up the music because the bass is to powerful then the momentum’s 3s is where you would go. Now a cheaper alternative to those that no one speaks about and probably because they don’t have great noise cancellation on them but with the app the music sounds great is the Sony XB900’s they run about $150 sometimes cheaper on sale but the sound on those especially with the app sound great. I hope any of this helps. Like floss says when u buy the airpod max’s you buy because you wanna flex on’em. But if they didn’t have the name apple behind them id pay anywhere from $200 to maybe $300 tops but that high id only do it because I was bought in to the apple eco system. But yea I was not at all impressed with them after all the hype. Maybe I should try them again but I was so disappointed in them I returned them when I really don’t do that but I wasn’t wasting $600 with tax to just sit on a shelf cuz I wouldn’t use them over what I already have. So yea long winded reply but I promise you wont be disappointed with the momentum’s. They are my favorite all around headphone that I go to.
@@ericaocana8742 this is fair and a great summary. When it comes to music quality, I think my Plantronics Voyager Focus UC headphones draws a similar comparison to the Sony 1000XM4s. The Voyager has the ability to project hi quality immersive audio (A2DP, AVRCP, DSP, HFP, HSP), but not as much emphasis on bass. The Voyager is fantastic for use as both a voice headset with ANC, plus the seamless ability to switch to high quality format for music. I love the Voyager for use at work, Teams meetings, etc., plus I can also get the richness you described with the Momentum’s. The Sony 1000XM4 is more pronounced with the optimal noise canceling, rich bass and flexibility of changing the output via the App. I love that the most as you can produce beautiful customized sounds based on different types of music.
I got the Earfun Free Pro 2. I needed a low coast high-quality sound with deep bass. And these are great for the price. With the discount, I paid 67.99 and they cost 89.99 without. Free one-day shipping I had them the next day thru Amazon. Motorhead's song Born to raise hell sounds great on them. I can hear every sound pretty good with no overlapping sound loss well they are loud with high bass. These are amazing for the price.
I’m in the middle of the vid so I just wanna tell y’all that Flossy is the truth. I’ve watched some top 10 truly wireless earbuds and nothing comes close to this. Thank you Flossy 💯
Flossy is not one of few I would watch 40+ minutes video, he is the only one I will always watch regardless of length. I fact, can't even imagine his video to be less than 10 minutes. Cheers
Yup Jabra 75T are my favorite but I keep losing sound quality after a few months. I've had 3 pairs but maybe the active is different. It's possible, I'm a heavy sweater or something. Active sounds like it might have a different function
For the momentum 2's you still can't use them 1 at a time, you can only use the right bud individually. I've had them for about a year and they're still killing it, hard to swap out now.
Love the video, very informative. I have a couple of ear buds and have found that by replacing the included ear tips, you can improve the sound quality and fit by replacing them with third party tips.
Great video floss, thanks for the hard work as always. I love my Sony xm3s, couldn't justify getting the 4s though. For the gym I use pixel buds, they're super underrated imo. They never fall out of my ears, where as the airpods and airpod pros both constantly fell out for me. I must have weird ears. Looking forward to your s22 ultra review!
The Sony truly wireless earbuds are top notch. They're super loud. Not sure what people are talking about. Their detail is also impeccable for classical, electronic and rock/metal.
I'm so glad flossy put me on the B&O eq's I was able to get on sale and used some Amazon points to get them down to about 270 and at that price I feel like that was an absolute steal of a deal and regret nothing!
I’ve been hoping for something like this recently. Now here it is, thanks floss! Gotta do another what’s in your gym bag once things smooth out in the world a bit more.
I been using the Sennheiser Momentum 2s since they came out, and have no plan on replacing them until they die. They're more than good enough for everything I need. And my fav headphones would be my Hifiman Sundara in terms of sound quality, but if I'm on the go, I'm obviously not bringing my open-back audiophile headphones and external AMP/DAC... for that I like my Sony XM4s.
@@bread01169 Yeah, I use my Momentum 2s way more often than the XM4s. They actually have better ANC than my XM4s if I use memory foam eartips, but I find those eartips uncomfortable so I just use regular ones. I have transparency mode on most of the time anyway because I wear them when I'm travelling and I like to hear my surroundings.
I’m surprised the Jabra 75 Elite earbuds didn’t make the list. I bought those based off your review and have been blown away by them after the last year and a half. The ANC firmware added in is amazing. The sound quality is perfect
I'm with you. i scrolled down to check comments looking for Jabra. I have had 65ts, then 75ts, and lost both. Now I'm researching what to buy after having had other wireless buds and the best thing about jabra is excellent connection and versatility, nice bass, eq, overall audio balance, good battery, okay anc, and finally decent calls, all for 100 bucks.
I got the Soundcore LP3's as well. They are the best Bluetooth headphones I ever owned. Before I bought these I got the newest Sony ear buds and I loved the sound but they kept coming out of my ears. If Sony would add wings like on the LP3's then I may try them again
I'm looking at this vid a year later so I can get a steal almost everywhere I look as these are last years models. Great prices everywhere for Floss' top picks!!
I can never understand people's fascination with Beats products although I tried my wife's Powerbeats once and I actually liked them. However they're a bit too expensive for me to ever own myself. I just paid $80 for a pair of JBL CLUB PRO PLUS, marked down from $200, to be delivered on Wednesday and I can't wait. Love JBL..
I used to look at Beats the same way I looked at Apple BEFORE apple bought them. I got the powerbeats pro a couple years ago because of their hook to stay on ears. It's actually a good product. This year's black Friday I'm getting the newer fit pro's because they're more compatible with Android. Most people agree beats have improved the past couple of years compared to 5+ years ago when you were basically paying for the name.
@@rell660 Beats by Dre ( pre Apple days) were horrible headphones in my opinion. They had a ton of bass but the sound was overly muddy with no clarity. My stepson has a pair of those that I tried and I couldn't get through a song before taking them off in disgust. But as I said above, I tried my wife's Powerbeats and I liked how they sounded. There was nice bass but the mix was so much more clear than I had expected. I have to agree that Beats has gotten much better under Apple. Now the price is all that keeps me from buying anything Beats. That and im very against the image that owning this brand somehow means your a higher class citizen. But sound quality is most important when you're shopping for buds and Beats has that. Maybe I'll try their Studio buds sometime..
@@whiteknight5100 The thing is to get them on sale... Usually right before black Friday they'll be around 30% off. Powerbeats Pro should be around $125 and Pro Fit should be $140 - $160 USD. Also the Fit Pro uses USB C while the Power Beats Pro uses Lightning Cable. Fit Pro is more compatible with Android compared to the Power Beats Pro. PBP can connect with Android BUT when they're taken out of the case they don't always sync together properly with Android devices. It requires some rebooting/reconnecting to sync them up SOMETIMES. The PBP earpieces don't always sit in the case properly. Sometimes you'd think they're both charged but NOPE still dead the next day because they weren't sitting properly in their huge case. It's kinda rare but it does happen. The PBP case ISN'T pocketable. The Fit Pro case is about half the size... Neither has wireless charging. That's the run down if you really consider getting the power beats pro or fit pro.
@@whiteknight5100 Oh and the studio buds... I won't bother getting those when I can pay $50 for the better ones. In my highschool days I'd settle for those but now I'd just go for the top ones. Now, now, I still won't pay over $175 for some earbuds.
This is the only proper review out there. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING IN THE TIME AND WORK TO MAKE THIS VIDEO IT HELPED ME ON EVERY ASPECT, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MAN!! I was searching for ages for a review which focused on every aspect and the searching came to an immediate stop when i found this, thank you so much! You're truly the king of Hi-Fi on youtube
What a fantastic video. I own the Samsung buds2 pro and the sound quality is out of this world and it didn't even make your top 10! I'll have to try your top 5.
I agree with you on buttons for earbuds. I love my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros but it’s frustrating sometimes when taking them out or putting them back in. I either turn them up, down, or turn off the ANC. I’d love to get the new Beats Fit Pros but at the same time, I want to wait to see if Apple does a major refresh on the AirPods Pro.
You are now one of my favorite reviewers. Your voice is very crisp and confident. You dialogue is entertaining and concise. I would listen to a podcast if you had one.
Been rocking the B and O EQs since your initial video last year. When I want to listen to some quality music they are my go to earbuds. No complaints. Love the quarterly updates that consistently improve the product. I use the Sony M4s at work. Great list.
How is the bass on the eqs, would they be good for someone who listens to alot of rap, hip hop and drill, cuz rn thry only £120 on amazon which is cheaper then airpods and the sennheisers etc
Also have the over ear XM4's, and they're fantastic as well. They're my other most used pair. A good budget brand I like is Senso. The Senso Orbits are great, and they're only $30.
I use the Bose SoundSport earbuds and the JBL Live 300TWS and it really depends on music at the time but, JBL for the win because of the adjustment I can make on the eq while on the bose, I don’t have that option. The JBL is cheaper and still sounds better in my opinion than the Bose whenever it comes rock and bass heavy music like Night Lovell, Bose win for me whenever I’m watching speaker reviews because for some reason they sound better to me, sure I’m still in high school but, I’ll upgrade eventually to the higher quality earbuds. Thanks for whoever reads this and understands what i meant 😅
I didn't know the video was 40+ minutes long but I love the hype ... Love the part where you mentioned that you dropped your daughter off then went back to the hotel and cried a lil ... Feels natural and not scripted ... keep it up Floss!
Best thing to do with the B&O's is wait a couple more years until they drop to half price. It's what I did with the Sennheisers. If they're really so good, they should easily hold their own against whatever new products are out at the time.
Yes sir ! Been waiting for this before buying my next earbuds. Great review as always. Love the feature of Bowers & Wilkins PI7 for airplanes , shame the battery life isn't great. Think I may go for the Technics AZ60.
I went through 3 pairs of the sony xm4. They all got a defective left ear piece. I exchanged them for the new Sennheiser Momentum tw3. So far I'm pleased, the tw3 has more punchy bass and definitely sound louder that the xm4
Have to agree on the Technics EA-60. I love these buds. They are my number one. I don't have have your top two as I have a self-imposed ceiling of $250. I don't think you should have to go over that these days.
Its hard to keep track with so many different earbuds types and brands. Might be fun to do something like old school Top Gear used to have for lap times. When you get something new that gets up there you just slide it in and push everything else down a rank. One of the really fun moments in old TopGear episodes is seeing where the new time will "slot"
Thanks for your real reviews. I feel like you get what we are looking for. Been watching you for a few years. I own three earbuds. A year later of course, Apple Air pods Pro 2, Jaybird Vista 2 and the Sony WF-1000XM4. I use each of them for different uses. I am a musician, guitar, mandolin, electric bass and upright bass. I actually own a bass that belonged to Ray Brown, one of the best bassists in my opinion. When I say I want to hear bass I really do. Thanks for the work you do.
Salute, My G. I agree with the fav list. Heavy rotation: Beats Pro Fit, Bose QC earbuds, Jabra 75t Active & Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro (Damn long ass name).
I need a video like this when searching for new high quality earbuds! I'll do the same when searching for a new phone soon, I take your advice seriously
Hi Mr Floss.. Good day to you.. 😊👋🏻 Thanks for the ultimate collection of your TWS.. Thanks to you too because of you, I bought Devialet Gemini & Sony WF-1000XM4 (After I watched your reviews) 🥰🙏🏻👍🏻
