When he goes to her engagement party for Max and waves to her from the bench. When he fixes all the things at her house and the way he is defensive to Max. So many moments! Building her the chuppah and when they are standing in front of it. Helping Rory move the mattress from her dorm.

Watching this I am now realizing how similar Luke and Jess are.

From S1 to S7 , it was always meant to be. S1E2 she said she was asked out at Chilton, he said, but you're not going. She replied, no I am not going. First time she saw that he might be interested that I remember. Then , off and on, she dated this one and that one. But only once did he try to ask her. Card game at the bar In the diner. Then again the next day. He just thought she was out of his league .He did always adore Rory. Good show. Watched this entire series about 20 times.

I honestly love Luke and Lorelai so much. I do however feel like there are great moments that were missed, and I think the 'I will always love you' scene deserves better. The video did bring a smile to my face though, so many great moments :)

This is the best boyfriend girlfriend couple on the show. From the pilot episode you could tell they were meant for each other. They are such good friends but they have a little more than friends. They understands each other sense of humor and clearly both care about each other.

I remember watching as a kid and feeling like it took the longest time for them to finally happen, like they will never actually go there. Like rewatching S1 now, it seemed like they will be together by the end of it, not in 3 more seasons!! But boy was it worth it, when they finally happened and how RIGHT it felt! what a beautiful story ♥

One of my favorite scenes is when they argue about her car. Things were off between them after she broke up with Christopher. But when she didn't like the car and argued, she smiled knowing they were back on the path.

My top 10 Luke and Lorelai favorite moments, in no particular order, are: their first kiss/date, Lorelai's phone call/Luke's break in, when Luke was comforting Lorelai when she was worried about the inn, when Luke was there for Lorelai when Richard was in the hospital (both times), Luke's speech in the revival, Luke building the ice rink, their last moment/kiss in the series finale, their first dance, Lorelai singing to Luke, & their make up kiss/reconciliation in S5. 💯😄😂😍❤ With a couple like Luke and Lorelai, top favorite moments are SO hard to narrow down. 👌😄 (A Bonus 11th favorite moment for me would probably be when Luke tracked down and test drove another Jeep for Lorelai and negotiated with the dealer. All so that she could have a new engine for her Jeep. 😄❤)

It was rumored that Scott Peterson had a thing for Lauren Graham. Not sure if it was real or if there was a reciprocation. Could just be studio publicity for the show. People like to believe that it is real. Looking at stills, it appears so. But they know when pics are being shot.

I started watching Gilmore Girls with my daughter. And I watched it with my mom. I always loved Luke and Lorelai. And this made me tear up alittle bit

Seeing all the comments on all the other Luke and Lorelai moments is just evident that no other tv couple has graced our television screens as amazingly as this one.

When Luke made a coffee cake for Rory's 16th birthday and put baloons on the chair by the table. And then, my favorite, after Rory's 21st birthday party, when Lorelei is sad and Luke tells her she can pull sausages out of him on Halloween if she wants to, after strenuously objecting earlier.

The small moments like when they went to the church to break the bells and when Luke drives to Maine with his new cell phone and leaves about 6 messages on her machine.

Can you do a video ranking all Lorelai's couples? My list would go like: Jacob/Charlie: This one is the one that ussually went to fishing and took her in a date with a lot of coffee tasting because he was opening a restaurant, but altough he was good, he became irrelevant in the series and Lorelai seemed to forget she was dating him. Christoper: He had so much potential, but as a friend and not as a couple. In 6 we all loved his moments but Lorelai herself knew she was doing this wrong and wasn’t all in Max Medina: I know he started all and he really had a lot of amazing moments, and they both were happy, but things were too rushed and she realized too late that it was something different to date than seeing that person every day. Jason Stiles: This character was just dropped for the fan service couple, they made such a fun and loveable character and we liked him, they worked perfectly with each other in every sense but her family. Luke Danes: It was totally expected to be N1 because since the pilot they seemed like a potential couple and Luke was always there and Lorelai too, the only thing that could’ve bothered me is how quickly when L&L broke up April was pushed to the background when she was adorable and such a nice charming character for being with Luke, because we all knew that he didn’t had a proper father experience with Jess Honorable mentions: -"We used to call him by his nickname,Shamu": it was the nickname that Lorelai said to get his real name off of a charity event and then she had to ask Emily -"He's a Kid!": This one was studying with Lorelai and she once hang out with him but he was too young and dependent of his parents -"Because he’s a dad": He appeared in the pilot and was kind of a prequel to Max, he asked her in a date and went to Japan so when he came back she would say yes or no

I think these should have made the list though: - Final episode, where he sews all the tents together and they reconnect - Episode where they go car shopping and he goes to Gypsy's and says that she can keep her old car and just rebuild the inside - Episode where he builds her the ice rink to get her to love snow again - Episode where she says 'there are very few people in my life that I can always count on/know will always be in my life, and you're one of them', or something to that effect. - Episode where they reconnect after their big fight, and Emily tells Luke to go to her and that she won't interfere - Episode where Luke takes Lorelai to the hospital during Richard's first heart attack and Emily says they're perfect for each other There's so many more, but those are the ones that come to mind right now
