Overall for pure incredible talent and dedication, it had to be when Kelso came flying over the 🛋couch🛋 to flirt with Laurie and he over shot or over timed his jump and plowed into the coffee table shins first. First, HOW he didn't slip, fall, or scream OUCH! is beyond comprehension. But then to actually stay in character, for ALL of them to stay in character and not lose it? That is incredibly funny and unbelievably talented work by young and amazing actors. Ashton Kutcher may have played a goofball, or a stooge, but he was an extremely special character and again an unbelievably talented actor. Not all people can pull off physical comedy, as well as really good character development and spot on performances, yet he did it, consistently. They ALL did, but Aston's job as Kelso was for me one of the best moments during this show's run. He was a brilliant doofus!

There was a special about "That 70s Show" that aired after the final episode called "The Final Goodbye" and they showed the behind the scene making of the final episode and everyone was crying when interviewed. Wilmer in describing what the show meant to him couldn't contain his tears and the waterworks coming down from their faces were so genuine, you know they cared for each other and were trying so hard to hold it together to tape the finale.

@@ernestogastelum9123 Not one doubt. The last season was the worst season of them all, HOWEVER, that last episode you could not only see the emotional impact that these characters/actors were going through but you truly felt the sadness and the love that they ALL HAVE for one another. Again that's one of the main reasons why I've loved this show from day one. The fact that you can see and FEEL the way that all of these characters are feeling. Their laughter and fun isn't just scripted, it's actually felt, and you the audience can feel it too. When Topher and Aston left for the last season, the gap that they left was too big to overcome. The Eric "substitute", Randy, wasn't anywhere close to as dynamic or had the connection that Eric and Donna had. It wasn't so much the actor's fault, he was given a no win situation.

I went from 13 years old to 23 during the '70s so this show always resonated with me. I watched the entire series when it aired right up to the end. I got out of the Army in 1979 and got a job right away which kind of started my official adulthood. When the series ended on the last day of 1979 it really hit me hard because it took me right back to ending of my youth. Those days of just having fun, not a care in the world and knowing you had you whole life in front of you. Now at just shy of 67, I'm on the down hill side. I've had an okay life but man, what I'd do to go back to the mid '70s, even for just a few days. Obviously, I can't but watching reruns of "That '70s Show" can almost bring me back there.

Sorry to say.... that 90's show was pretty terrible compared to that 70s show. They tried so hard to be good... the characters are bad, the acting is bad, the stories are so boring, and the "90's vibe" is so fake and forced. The only good thing I enjoyed was Red and Kitty, and the very few scenes with former characters. But, this is just my opinion. Season 3, episode 3 when they're discussing Hyde's dad being back. Red is talking about the complex relationship between a father and son, then tells Eric to shut it because Topher didn't keep it together.

From what I’ve heard, the hosing scene wasn’t so much unscripted as it was kept secret to get an authentic reaction. It’s not that Red came up with it on the spot. But it was the best to be sure! I also can’t get enough of “but you try to say it with a straight face!”
@sassenachdragon
@sassenachdragon Год назад
Good point. It’s not unscripted because it used a prop that required plumbing which means it was planned and managed by a prop master, it could have not been on Topher’s script but it was on Kurtwood’s script and stage direction.

I've always wondered if the scene where Eric tries to kick Donna's door down and falls on his ass was unscripted. He just looks so shocked in that moment, and Laura looks like she's holding back laughter

Honestly the unscripted laughter is what made the circles feel so legit and relatable because its a bunch of teenagers laughing about dumb things you told talk about while high off your ass

I thought it was Eric who yells “Hello, Wisconsin”. My number one favorite has always been Red hosing down Eric. A close follow-up is the parents after the garage sale … they found and ate the pan so “special” brownies Hyde made to contribute to the money intake. One episode that sticks in my memory is the one with the Cosmo Sex Quiz. Kitty says she would never do number 8. Because, she is a nurse, and number 8 is “icky”. Maybe we need a longer list, because we need to fit in Red’s last day at the factory. Kitty sends Eric to pickup his dad at the bar after she is told Red is too drunk to drive. Later, Eric calls because Red bought him a beer (or a few) and Eric is now too drunk to drive.

I was too busy experiencing life to appreciate that 70's Show while it was airing. However, I've found a new appreciation for it years later, as I can relate to it's premise. And I grew up in the 90's. As you get older, you realize that twenty years isn't that long. Alot has changed between the 70's and 90's, but ALOT of what made those generations great remained the same. Eventually though, as time passes, the spirit of the times gets more and more deluded, until the distance between then, and now becomes so great that the hereandafter is almost unrecognizable. It's sad.

I believe that was Topher Grace who yelled "Hello Wisconsin". If you recall, during the last season of the show when he wasn't on the show, every time the phrase "Hello Wisconsin" was heard in the credits, the other cast members looked around wondering who could have said that. I think it was a jab at him from producers of the show.
