Man I really hope Towerborn hits as hard as I want it to. So pumped for that one. Little Nightmares 3 will be a great one with the wife. Space Marines is going to be a banger though. As always sirs, excellent work.

We debated putting that on here but the developers haven’t confirmed the co-op themselves yet so we didn’t want to go off pure speculation. But it seems likely that it is! We’re very stoked for that either way

Helldivers looks similar to Arc Raiders. Arc Raiders is PvPvE coming this year from Embark Studios who made The Finals.

@@ConciseCabbage you're not extracting anything though just completing objectives.....in Arc Raiders you lose your gear. In Helldivers you don't. By this logic MGS5 is an extraction shooter.

@@sugs0377 to be fair, we don’t know how Arc Raiders works yet exactly. A big point of extraction gameplay is getting yourself out. If you don’t extract yourself in Helldivers, you lose, right?

So, are there any turn-based co-op games coming up? I won't be playing any of these games, I'm afraid. But Baldur's Gate 3 has just blown me away. And it's been a ton of fun as a co-op game. I don't expect a game that good every year - or even every decade - but is there _any_ co-op game coming up in the next year which has turn-based combat? Thanks.

not a new game but I highly recommend Divinity original sin 2 from the same Larian studio … in fact I prefer playing DOS2 over BG3 since I enjoy its combat system more … with that said the story is mostly linear, the exploration and how to approach fights are not, all the origin characters are really memorable, the initial challenges are real treat to overcome … the game was reviewed just as high if not higher compared to BG3, they definitely expand the choices and consequences in BG3 but the action economy and the concentration really slow down or limit the combat enjoyment a bit …

@@phannhat385 Thanks. Yes, I'm familiar with that game. I was just wondering if there were any new turn-based co-op games coming up. I've played computer games for at least half my life - since the late 1980's, at least - but it's almost always been single-player. Recently, I've needed co-op games I can play with my little sister. She's only 71 years old, and she'd never played a video game in her life before a few months ago. So,... turn-based games are almost a requirement (and I generally like them better myself, anyway). We're almost finished with Baldur's Gate 3, so we'll probably be playing Divinity Original Sin 2 after that. (My sister has been playing it on her own, when I don't have time for co-op.) But we're always looking for new games. You know how that is, I'm sure. No matter how many games I've got, it's never enough.

I played it, and it was pretty fun. The combat could be better but the traversal made up for it, and the story seems pretty good :)

I don't get this Suicide Squad hate. I mean yeah battlepass in 70eur game is cringe but people rarely talk about it and they say only that "game looks bad" while for me game looks good/fine. I've seen too many people who hated it just because its not about batman or something, oh and also dare to have coop

As a member of Arkham community all I can say is people's feel entitled tons batman game even that's all rocksteady mad for a decade I already ore ordered because I really liked the alpha Arkham feel owed a single player batman or Superman game hell a senior AI programer just got died from the stressing of the fans hating on the game without and real Critisism

That’s fair! Lots of Early Access games are worth playing though, there’s a reason why Valheim and V-Rising have so much acclaim and have yet to release onto 1.0 haha But like we said, not all of them are like that

I like the addition of early access as now a days many early access games significantly outshine fully developed games. Early access isn’t the same as an alpha and beta test and in many cases is just pretty much the fully game released to a small population or with some small tweaks coming otw

Wow, what a terrible list! Only the last 2 would even slightly interest myself or my friends and warhammer might be an instant no after the atrocious Darktide - no campaign, mediocre story, rubbish reward system, awful weapon system, terrible upgrade system and just repetative garbage. Helldivers 2 looks interesting but again looks like it could get boring and repetative real quick.
