Top 10 Vehicles that Millionaires Tow Behind Luxury Motorcoaches! 

I never seen a Hummer behind any motorhome in the 25 yrs I have been RVing. The # 1 tow vehicle by far was and still is a Jeep Wrangler without a doubt. There never was any issue with towing a Jeep Wrangler from 1970-2024. They are made to be towed 4 down. The Grand Cherokee and other Jeeps with the newer electronic 4 wheel drive is the one with the problems. But the Jeep Wrangler always had a manual 4 wheel drive from day one. Oh I should add from 2003- 2009 the Jeep Liberty was the #1 tow vehicle. It was behind almost every Class A back then. Now, it’s the 4 door Jeep Wrangler. Just drive thru a high end campground and see what’s parked next to the motorhomes. I was down in the Keys last January and I counted 30 Wranglers in an Rv Park with 100 sites.

We’ve towed two Broncos over the last few years. They drive and ride much better than our previous Wranglers and make day to day driving much nicer. Added benefit is they come (certain models) with tow points that don’t require the installation of any tow attachment points. Wire in lights that’s a simple plug into the factory harness and you’re ready.

Andrew Jeep Gladiators are probably the number 1 toad out there. Everyone wants one, heck I want to swap my manual Honda Element for one. Great video.

I have a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Summit Reserve. It's perfect for flat towing. A big perk is that it floats across a dirt road washboards. Prior to the 4xe, I had a Ford F250 Platinum Diesel that felt like a jackhammer going across washboards. The Jeep 4xe with its air suspension feels like it's riding on a layer of cushion on dirt roads.

Great video on flat towing. We tow a 14 Equinox. Don't care if it gets beat up. Don't want to flat tow our 22 Hich Country Silverado.

For non-full timers, you dont need a toad. We've had amazing experiences with Turo. En route to the next stop, just book a car on the app and most people will meet you right at your site 👍 We were very close to buying a dedicated tow vehicle since our daily drivers are not flat tow capable....and I'm so glad we didnt!

I lucked out and found a Silverado the same color as my RV. I think it looks really nice when a flat tow matches your rig

I've towed 3 Grand Cherokees for the last decade. '14, '17, now a '20. Put about 90K driving miles and 15K towing miles on each. Never had any problems. All that was needed is the regular service. Most my RV friends also tow JGC. The Wrangler is just a little too rough for a daily driver.

I've always thought that if I tow a vehicle behind a RV. I would purchase a tandom axle trailer and load my vehicle onto the trailer. My thought process is to wear out the tires on the trailer and save my vehicle from wear and tear going down the road. What's your thoughts on that???

My Jeep Gladiator is a dream to flat tow behind the H3. However, Rivian was just awarded their patent for flat towing, so it’s going to be a possibility soon.

This brings up a question I've always had about those RV resorts is say you wanted to tow a car on a car hauler trailer (flatbed) is there a space to temporarily park a trailer of really any type even a stacker trailer. since the sites generally aren't big enough

Would be interesting to see if a Ford Lightening would work.... I would be curious if the lightening would charge itself as you pull it - It does have an option to hook up 50amp to the RV and power it for about a week on a full charge....

Andrew, love the channel… what’s up Bro, no love for Ram trucks… I have a 15 H-3 Outlaw which we absolutely LOVE….. we tow our 2020 Ram 3;500 4x4 limited and we don’t even know it’s back there, I’m a contractor I have over 800 wheels and tires in my fleet, over 40 pickup trucks all mixture of fords chevys and rams… we build bridges… we are not validating coupons out there we are WORKING HARD…… THE RAMS OUT PREFORM FORDS AND. CHEVYS all day long, the Rams hardly ever break down… I used to ALWAYS Drive a Ford for over 30 years, now all I’ll drive is a Ram, by far the best riding and performing truck out there… show a little love for those Ram trucks my Brutha….. I flat towed VW bug behind F-150. I had to secure the steering wheel with a strap or it would wobble just like the VW Jetta

Andrew I love all your videos, but in the past 20 plus years I have seen way more Jeeps than any other vehicle being towed. And yes I tow a Ford Raptor or our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon behind my H3 currently and have towed Hummer H2’s back in the day. But they stopped production on the H2’s in 2009 so don’t see them much anymore. All great flat tow vehicles.

No mention of RV towing capacity. Generally stated on owner's manual or specifications. Our rig can go up to 3,500 lbs which limits us to a jeep, light pickup or passenger type car. Oh, we've seen the big boys towing crew cab duely pickups, etc. but a hummer? Okay. We went with the GMC Canyon SLT, V8, Off-Road, 4 wd, crew cab, etc. About 3250 lbs curb weight. Start loading up the bed with motorcycles, other stuff and it doesn't take long to overload towing.

You forgot Escalade with the 2 speed transfer case. The SRX is speed limited to 65 mph.

A lot of comments here beginning with “I’ve never seen…”. There are lots of things I haven’t seen but it doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Case in point: I tow a Winnebago Class B on a Mercedes sprinter chassis.

We tow our Silverado 1500 4x4 ext. cab with camper shell behind our Monaco Camelot. If I hit the big time to where I could afford a Newell I'd go ahead and get a Chevy 2500HD duramax crew cab to tow and put an aux diesel tank in it.

I had a Tahoe that I towed behind the Heritage. I had the hardest time getting it to shift out and back into gear. And when I traded the Tahoe off they actually deducted me because it had been towed. So I'm all about rent a car when you get there.

Hey Andrew your top 10 missed entirely the RAM pickup. We’ve pull a RAM for 7 years, easy connect/dis-connect. No electrical tricks and no speed restrictions.

We flat tow a '22, 392 Jeep Wrangler🚙. It gets its best gas mileage while being towed! Seriously, though, Jeep Wranglers are the easiest, simplest vehicle to flat tow, being engineered from the factory for flat towing.

We tow a Ford ST Edge, been a nice tow, big power good power, comfy. Would to tow an Escalade…maybe next.

The thing is the luxury motor coaches have a 15k-20k towing capacity, that's why you see something as massive as a hummer on this list. Shoutout to my fellow middle class Honda CRV towers out there.

we went from towing a Jeep Wrangler to a Ram 1500 Limited. Principally so we could haul our golf cart in the bed.

Well this was disappointing. I think your list has a lot to be desired. I’ve towed two Grand Cherokees and two Rubcons all without any issues whatsoever. But, that’s opinion and it’s worth about as much as yours.

Well I’m not a millionaire so I guess I can’t tow any of these vehicles 🤷🏻‍♂️

Question for Americans, why do you tow like that over there? Apart from braking you're putting all the other wear on the car while getting no use out of it. Why not just put it on a trailer?

Disagree with most of what's on this list, outside the Jeep Wrangler / Gladiator, similar. Sorry, Andrew. Love your stuff, but this list needs to be updated. Most of these vehicles can not be towed thousands of miles without damage.

This, sadly is what this channel has devolved into. You really need to get back to doing at least 50% more down to earth and more attainable RV’s! And, in nearly 20 years of RVing I have never seen any kind of Hummer or Sprinter behind any RV. And I’ve stayed at some nice resorts!
