Captain SkullFace sounds like my grandpa on my mom's side. Every time he sees me playing COD, Battlefield, Metal Gear Solid, ect. He starts saying shit. There was one time he was yelling at me to run into a room on MWR Hardcore TDM that had the entire enemy team camping (it was on Bog, a corner store.) And I said 'lemme show you why I don't do that." I ran in alone and somehow killed them despite being complete utter shit at every FPS known to man, dolphin, and Krogan. Point is, it backfired. I think they were getting lagged switched though by a teammate of mine, because they didn't shoot back, one was running at the wall, and the entire enemy team lost connection less than 2 minutes later.

Tbh I don't think that commercial was actually targeting an audience young enough to not understand that the behavior is obviously not ok. If your kid doesn't understand that this is bad behavior then they are either way too young, or are underdeveloped for their age group. Kids actually are much smarter than we give them credit for, it requires quite high levels of reasoning and emotional intelligence for them to competently socialize. Just bc they're incapable of communicating that intelligence doesn't mean it's not there.

This way of thinking changes. My Mum and I battled for years over being able to watch South Park when I was 15. Which is funny, she was fine with me watching South Park and Family Guy when I was 13... But as soon as she saw a few glimpses of it, and low and behold, there was a notice about it on the news or current affair, it became "This show is horrible and stupid... and just wrong. It is bad for teenagers and you should stop watching it" You know the funny thing about perception, media and society? It changes. I remember complaining to my dad about this and he said to me "You know, when I was 10 parents were upset about their kids watching Mickey Mouse" MICKEY MOUSE!!! And the scary thing is, that is actually true. Back in the 50s when Disney was only beginning, people deemed cartoons from them as stupid and bad for kid's minds. Parents didn't want their kids watching it. My partner's mum didn't want him watching The Simpsons when he was like 8. Which I find baffling as it was like the family show in my household. Anyhoo - long story short, I ended up winning the battle for South Park - as long as I did my homework I could watch this one show, it was an exception as long as I didn't spout out swear words and have a horrible attitude. :P Years later when I went to university and moved out. My parents call me to see how I am going and I hear in the background on the TV VERY FAMILIAR voices. I asked what they were watching... and my Mum goes "OH we saw an episode of South Park on and decided to sit down and watch it" They were sitting there laughing their asses off! :P Admittedly sometimes that show goes a little too far but generally it is pretty funny. So yeah, I guess the valuable lesson is, what is deemed as horrible or not great for you changes as the times change.. society and their perception of what is bad changes. That's why I always try to encourage my cousin's who are now parents that they just need to sit down and watch these shows or see what the fuss is about and make up their own minds. As ultimately no one should be telling you what to think about anything.. it is up to you. And if the kids seem OK watching or playing this stuff, then fine. Besides as long as you educate them then it should be fine.

Mewtwo Rulz Do it. Dead Space will always be my favorite game series. And, surprisingly enough, the multiplayer has a decent community that hasn't been completely corrupted by assholes and squeakers. Can't really say the same for Dead Space 3. Alot of kids on there just stick to the MP and call themselves fans of the series, despite being to afraid to even try the first two games.

Below Xero played DS 1, got DS2 bundled with it but havent played it.Lots of walking, limited field of vision, things try to kill you in pretty much every room. I found it kinda boring since there wasn't very much to learn and not many ways to customize your character aside from weapon upgrades. Lots of annoying sound effects and atmosphere like limited oxygen to make the game feel frustrating. I didn't find it really scary since the worst that can happen to you is you go back to save point; however, I've never really been into horror games though.
