Trine 2 is absolutely gorgeous and a really great game whether single play or multiplayer. It's the most beautiful looking game I know for my Switch. All the other Trine games are definetely beautiful and worth playing too. Gris is a very stunning looking game too. I also do love the look of the Little Nightmares games. The first Dragon's Dogma is an experience for itself and really captured me with these incredible looking dragons and other foes. The AI in this interesting open world game is already outstanding and unique and the best I've ever experienced including the fighting system. The visual effects especially playing as a mage or sorcerer are incredibly stunning. You can - for example - even make your two playing characters look like Geralt and Yennefer if you like. The huge world of Hollow Knight was very impressive too. Then I want to mention the two beautiful Ori games, the neverending Rayman Legends with its daily or weekly challenges, the adorable Last Campfire, the unforgetable Old Man's Journey, the surreal universe of Figment, Death's Door, Unravel two and ABZU.
I totally forgot I have LA Noire. lol I'm going to download it. edit: downloading it now and going to play. I just finished Tears of the Kingdom the other day so needed something to play on my Switch.
FACT: Life is Strange 2 has better graphics than Life is Strange True Colors. The characters & environments look miles better in LiS2. Also, there is no noticeable downgrade when Life is Strange 2 was ported to the Switch. It looks exactly like the game did back when it launched in 2018. That cannot be said about True Colors. That game suffered a massive downgrade when ported to the Switch. P.S. Other games that look amazing on Switch not mentioned in this video: 1. Alien Isolation - Digital Foundry confirmed that it looks better than the PS4 version. 2. Dying Light 1 - Anyone complaining about Switch games lacking draw distance needs to play this game. You can see for miles in this game. And with barely noticeable pop-in too. The graphics are amazing for the Switch. 3. Luigi's Mansion 3 - Digital Foundry did a video explaining why in their opinion this is the best looking game available for the Switch. And I fully agree. Its amazing that game wasn't mentioned in this video.
No Sinking City or Batman Arkham or Hogwarts Legacy ? Say what you will but Hogwarts Legacy is if not THE BEST looking game on Switch, then one of THE BEST looking ones with gameplay, graphics and world. Honorable Mentions here Alien Isolation, No Man's Sky, Asassin Creed IV: Black Flag...
Not sure why you’ve mostly opted for mature themed, 3rd party games, as nearly all of the best looking games on Switch happen to be Nintendo’s own stuff. Pikmin 4, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Metroid Prime Remastered, Mario Kart 8 etc. There are some 3rd party titles that look really great on Switch. Hellblade looks great for Switch, as does the Crysis trilogy, but I always find it’s the visuals in Nintendo’s own games that age better over time.
Makes for a change. There's a lot of lazy ports for the Switch so we should show a lot of love and support to 3rd party titles that put time and effort into getting the best out of the Switch. These titles do not get much attention at all.
00:05 "But who needs crazy power when you have games that look this good" Proceeds to show a gameplay that gets an fps drop and looks like from the PS2 era
List of all visual masterpieces on switch as follows; Well its not known for its visuals, if you got about 6 weeks you should make one on best gameplay fron games on switch, thats around 4,509 games, it will yake awhile but makes more sense, the switch has been about making fun and addictive games and has never once focused on graphics ever!
U shlda add Hellblade, when i started the game i cldnt believe my eyes!! (Just like when i played the witcher 3 or monster hunter rise, or even L.A Noire.) But in hellblade the action and the combat are Wow!! Just WOW!!😮😮😮❤😊 plus it looks way better than DS, even if it s also an awesome game btw.
If your list only consist of Nintendo exclusive games than that is a quote boring list. Of course Nintendo made games are going to look the best on the switch.
I find it bizarre that people expect a $300 machine to function as a $700 one. Yet NieR Automata has proved developers of ports have in the past, just been lazy. Makes you think you should get more out of a $700 machine.
MH Rise looks great and DOOM Eternal and they play well. But now I play them on a PS5 and it just looks and preforms so much better on the PS5. There is no game that looks as good or Visually Stunning on the switch. But graphics are not everything gameplay is and the switch has some of the greatest games of all time.
