I actually got into GG because I wanted something so different, so fucked to make me forget about the fact that as a woman shit like this would be unacceptable. No one who I’ve hanged out even the metal heads and the punks and the weirdos, see this shit coming, but the fact that I hang out with a lot of undesirables why are they surprised? Yes, I like make up and feminine shit but also I like shit that’s weird and looked down on. I think this why I fucking love Yolandi from Die Antwood.

Buckethead and Primus aren't really weird so much as just overflowing with skill on their perspective instrument that they have to make their own genre of music. Also for shame you didn't mention The Residents, Mindless Self Indulgence, or Little Big... And that's ok, but they not only are without a doubt the weirdest, shitiest, coolest, absolutely horific band probably ever, they have millions of followers and literally have their own religion and style of music (if you even dare to call it that). I saw Gwar on their last tour for the first time it was a blast, sucks I never saw them with Oderus/Brockie but Blothar is still awesome. And I saw Primus open for Tool in 2016 and of course it was awesome. Ween and Mr. Bungle are both sick as well but I’ve never seen them live.

I love steam powered giraffe. I was introduced to them by a friend a few years back and loved them since. The steam punk nature they have and put into there music and their outfits is amazing. The bios they come up with each band member and the world they live in is amazing as well. They maybe be “weird” but they are totally inspirational. One of their latest songs, Malfunction, talks about how you should be proud of the things that make you different like: being transgender to ADHD, and says all people should be praised.

Insane Clown Posse are weirder thanks to their cultlike fan base, wrestling associations, and the shit show that is the Gathering. As performers they're kinda cut from the same cloth as GWAR. Dick jokes, costumes, spraying liquids at fans, fantasy backstories, violent imagery... Pretty much the same shit. Not sure why ICP fans don't realize it's a joke though.

I am not a fan of them, but I don't see how ICP was the "weirdest" band. They have some controversy on occasion, but are far from WEIRD, they just have a rabid cult fanbase most of the time and people claim all sorts of bullshit over them. Otherwise, they are just 2 white guys that are actually pretty charitable with face paint. Die Antword is on a whole other level of "god damn, wtf... what... fucking weird" let alone Mr. Bungle or Zappa. And GG Allin too? GG Allin as a band wasn't weird... GG Allin had fucking problems himself.

ToonamiVHS Which would definitely fit. I think nearly any of these bands are more weird. ICP, based on everything I know of them, isn't weird by any standard. If they are considered weird, then Kiss or Twisted Sister would have to be too... its just facepaint. They don't have some other gimick or weird awkward lyrics or musical style.

It seems GG Allin was just emulating The Stooges, just with more dissonant lyrics instead of singing about rabid fucking or war. As far as I know Iggy Pop did everything GG Allin did (except eat shit), and that was in the 60's and 70's.

Wabaanimkii From my understanding GG Allin took it to a whole new level than Iggy Pop ever did. Iggy Pop, jumping from the scaffolding, smashing bottles on his chest, etc. But GG Allin doing tons of things with shit, actually brutally beating the shit out of quite a few other people, actually contemplating murder and suicide (out loud, in public on stage). Even fighting, injuring and humiliating his band members (how they ever wanted to work with him I dont know). Iggy Pop was a bit crazy. GG Allin was sociopathic.

In no particular order (except the first two): the residents, Renaldo & the loaf, Faust, Snakefiger, Skinny Puppy, Throbbing Gristle, Butthole Surfers, Naked City/John Zorn, Captain Beefheart, Tipographica, Legendary Pink Dots, U Totem, Motor Totemist Guild.
