The marketing was part of what made it suffer. All they talked about was “the new controller” instead of mentioning it was a new console. They had it going with the concept, but it started to nosedive later on

@@lordroy88 Yes and add the fact of joycon drift and the Nintendo Switch avoids a lot of criticism. Not that joycon drift isn't criticized, just that it rarely influences people's review of the console as a whole, which it should
The Wonderful 101: Said to be one of the best games from the People who played it. Nobody ever pays attention. Hideky Kamiay (sorry if I spelt it wrong ) Am I a joke to you?
well his point was that they're experiences you can enjoy elsewhere. Which is fair for a few of them, but some of the others like Mario Maker nobodys gonna buy the 3DS version over the WiiU version lol
How dare you put New Super Mario Bros U, Captain Toad and Yoshi's WW on the list and not DONKEY KONG COUNTRY TROPICAL FREEZE !!!! Damn, this platformer !!! Edit: Okay you haven't played to this game.... shame on you. :3
He really should play the game. It is basically if New Super Mario Bros. U wasn't rushed, and had a creative gameplay element in virtually every level. It is hard, yet it is never unfair or repetitive. It is just plain fun. My only complain is that the 2-player could have been better, and also, I felt like there was never a reason to specifically choose Diddy Kong from a Kong Barrel, because the other two kings are so much more useful.
10. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 9. Super Mario 3D World 8. Mario Party 10 7. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U 6. Pikmin 3 5. Mario Kart 8 4. Paper Mario: Color Splash 3. Super Mario Maker 2. Splatoon 1. New Super Mario Bros. U
I know people aren't crazy about the Wii U, but for me it will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up when everyone and their mom had a Wii, and I was so excited when I finally got a Wii U. It was my first video game thing.
Same. I got it when I was 6 or 7 before that the only consoles I played were the Leapster and my cousin’s Xbox 360, so the Wii U was my true introduction to gaming.
How could you not include Bayonetta? This game has constant action, compelling characters, a great art style, and it has the balls to be different. I'm so glad I DON'T have to fish, mix food, cook food, complete boring side quests, talk to villagers, or wait around at a specific day and time for a monster that never shows up (so I could obtain a new ability). For me, it's like I'm playing the same games over and over again.
I guess Im an old soul at the age 29 but I like how Nintendo kept it simple without to much internet involvement. Especially all the constant updates my other consoles need for me to play a new game. Just put the game in and play.
1 The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 Super Smash Bros for Wii U 3 Mario Kart 8 4 Splatoon 5 Super Mario 3D World 6 Yoshi's Woolly World 7 Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze 8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker 9 Super Mario Maker 10 Rayman Legends H.M New Super Mario Bros U M.H Pikmin 3
Title: Top 10 Wii U Games *doesn't show mario party 10 but still gets in the description* Edit: My comment is now irrelevant because it says Mario Kart 8 now
@@gab_v250 Twilight Princess HD was released for the Wii U after the Gamecube and Wii versions and features improved controls (with the Wii U Pro controller) and updated graphics.
I gotta guess because I never watched this yet, Splatoon is going to be number 2 or 1. Ok, watching video. *Watching video in progress* *After* Yep, it was number 1.
Pikmin 3 is my absolute favourite game of all time. I've played the first pikmin game, and although I haven't played the second, the third is incredible. It's not one of those one and done things, either- you can play many times over too see all the details you overlooked. It's cute, incredibly creative, engaging, and a gorgeous graphic style. I love the game so much that I made a clay Toady Bloister and it sits on my shelf to remind me of the game.
1, it wasn’t even the best, it was alright, but still pretty average 2. Isn’t popular enough and the Wii u’s poor sales didn’t help much with its popularity either
@@shigerumiyamoto9612 the question wasn't 'which game got played the most' it was 'which game is the best'... The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.... 🤦🏽♂️
#10 New Super Mario Bros. U #9 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker #8 Rayman Legends #7 Super Mario 3D World #6 Super Smash Bros. Wii U #5 Super Mario Maker #4 Yoshi's Woolly World #3 Shovel Knight #2 Mario Kart 8 #1 Splatoon
I mean I got my Wii U for Christmas so I didn’t have to worry about spending money but I really got a lot of good times out of it. Even though 3D World and SMB U were repeats I still got a good time out of them. Splatoon and Mario Maker were also super cool because they were something we’d never had before.

+Solid Gamer there is no best youtuber especially when. (no disrespect Nathaniel) you dont have the most subscribers . so in that case hes your favorite youtuber not the best
This is definitely 1 of the best 2016 Nathaniel bandy top 10s because it’s purely opinion and has good reasons and stuff. I just didn’t like the plugs but the placements (while I don’t fully agree with them) are really good and well thought
My top 10 10. Nintendo Land 9. New Super Mario Bros U/ New Super Luigi U 8. Captain Toad 7. Paper Mario Color Splash 6. Mario kart 8 5. Smash for Wii U 4. Super Mario 3D World 3. Super Mario Maker 2. Just Dance Wii U (Japan) 1. Splatoon These are my favorite games that i still play to this day
I would have put Xenoblade Chronicles X at my number one cause of the amazing graphics, fantastic story, the amount of content is through the roof and also would have put pokken tournament on my list as well
Nathaniel Brady: Mario Maker will always have new levels to play Nintendo: Watch me (Announces the Mario Maker for Wii U will end on Mar 31) Everyone:...you were saying
Here's my list: 10. Wii Party U 9. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker 8. Mario Kart 8 7. Super Mario 3D World 6. Super Mario Maker 5. Minecraft: Wii U Edition 4. Pokken Tournament 3. Yoshi's Woolly World 2. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U 1. Splatoon
Splatoon was always my favorite Nintendo game I was so hyped when they announced Splatoon would be in Super smash bros ultimate Let’s hope for Octoling echo fighters
I really like pikmin 3, but I never got the Wii U, but since it’s being transferred to the switch I’ll finally be able to play it. There’s something so charming about the pikmin franchise that I just can’t find in any other game.
10: Yoshi’s Wooly World 9: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze 8: Super Mario 3D 7: The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD 6: Splatoon 5: Super Mario Maker 4: Shovel Knight 3: Super Smash Bros. 2: Mario Kart 8 1: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I agree with this list. Kinda disappointed that Pikmin 3 wasn't on here. I actually liked the story, the new characters. But the Pikmin are still the same. But I understand that it isn't on this list. I would just put it at #11
