I think if the Red and Black Spitting Cobras were smart, they would use your content, get agents, and start modeling. They are so beautiful with such vibrant colors they could easily sell muscle cars, sports equipment, energy drinks, soft drinks, banking accounts, motorcycles, tvs, you name it. You take a cut of their pay as agents and live like you really want to. In all seriousness, the videography and content is absolutely the best I have ever seen. You both deserve a bigger platform than RU-vid to broadcast your material. I have learned so much and have a deeper appreciation and fascination for these critters than I did before seeing your channel. I am a HUGE fan because of what you are doing, how you are doing it, and the education I have received here in the comments and from your videos. You are so lucky to see these animals in the wild. Keep up the great work. I love this channel!!

You are absolutely right that those two cobras (and we think also the yellow Cape cobra) could be super successful with their beauty :D Many thanks for your huge support, we are extremely grateful for it! We are happy to have any platform and RU-vid actually gave us the chance to show our work. We were in talks with some TVs but they don't want footage which is not dramatic. We enjoy having a chance to present snakes as we see them and destroy many myths about them! We will work hard to be able to continue with our channel :) Thank you!
@jazzbariman

@@LivingZoology Yes. You are correct about the Cape Cobra. The three ofthem would make a power house ad for any muscle car, truck, musical instrument. soft drink, liquor, and a host of other items that I cannot think of right now. If TV wants dramatic, then they should show more of the US Congress. If they want quality, then they can take your footage. You have a great channel here and are doing great work. Enjoy the holidays. It does not get any better than this. So many questions! Can spitting cobra venom injure or kill if in eyes? Is spitting defensive only, or can they incapacitate prey via spit? How do snake's skeletons deal with large food items (seems like bones would break)? How long before the eggshell is regurgitated? The absence of humanity and excellence of photography make Living Zoology a favorite of mine.
@LivingZoology
@LivingZoology Год назад
Thank you very much!!! 🙂 If the venom gets in the eyes, it causes pain and if it stays there it can cause blindness. Spitting is only a defense behavior. Snakes have a kinetic skull, lower jaws are not fused, so they can swallow large prey 🙂 The eggshell is regurgitated right after the snake ate the rest of the egg. Great that you love our videos! 🙏

Meerkats have that fast backup gear the same as Mongooses. Strange to only see 3 together, maybe the others are hunting. I know their groups can get pretty big
@LivingZoology

This was a small group, the owner of the property told us that before there was a big group, but they split into few smaller ones.

@@LivingZoology I can imagine. But some predation scene with mouse are artificial no ? gabonica, pyrrhus etc. ?
@LivingZoology

@@ceratophrys Those scenes are still with wild snakes 🙂 We helped it a bit though and brought mice to the general area where the snake was.

Look at that yellow and green thing floating in the stream .. the scene where the snake can’t swallow the other snake due to it wrapping itself around grass and vines. That’s a subway sandwich wrapper I bet you. I didn’t know they had a subway in India . I’m guessing India bC it’s a black Cobra eating another snake .. #eatfreshmyguy

Very often you find some rubbish around villages and towns. Unfortunately, the King cobra was eating the Spectacled cobra next to that piece of rubbish.
