It always annoys me that they always portrait us in Scotland as aggressive and drunk in film..... when in fact we are the most innovative nation in the world per head of population.
I wonder if the personality traits of the scots ie their aggressiveness is important for inventive people? One must be unstoppable to be successfully creative. The drinking is an attempt to take the edge off the “constantly on” nature of our personalities. Beats me.
At the moment, in Scotland they are working on tidal energy, and it looks promising. just hope they are allowed to get on with it, unimpeded by politics.
