Sextet Summon was made because someone at Konami saw Dave's video on monsters that are way too hard to summon for what they're worth and said, "hold my beer!"

Guys, I MAY have found a use for Gold Moon Coin... If you activate Gold Moon Coin during turn 1, then your opponent has 7 cards in their hand. When their turn comes they'll have 8 after draw phase and you can activate Heavy Slump, shuffling all of them into their deck and drawing 2.

Well,another thing about Sextet Summon: If you actually manage get a board of that many monsters, you almost certainly won the game at that point. So that makes the card even more pointless

Soul Levy has won me games, underrated. Think about it, 40 card deck opponent starts with 6 card hand. 34/3 is 12 specials until deck out, not including any cards they search, mill, or banish as cost. Yes it helps decks like Orcust, but dont play it against Orcust, play it against combo decks pendulum, thunder, rokket, salamangreat. They have to get rid of the card or else they will kill themselves. All you have to do is survive the turn. So the card can be good against certain matchups, but it doesnt really have a deck where it belongs. The best two was Mayakashi and Vampire, both of which can give that extra push if the opponent left a few cards in deck and have pretty good survivability.

Someone at my locals decided to try out Heavy Slump Gold Moon Coin Stun...it's actually kinda consistent. And painful.

For the Extraceratops or whatever it's called, one play I could see it being used for (not that it's all that good) would be in a Chaos MAX deck and even then you have easier ways to OTK...

Actually I've seen gold moon coin be used to moderate success to put dark world monsters in your opponent's hand and the you discard them to trigger their bonus effects. It's not good but I feel it gets it out of number 1

You see, if you Gold Moon Coin your opponent, once they draw for turn, you can Heavy Slump them, allowing you to effectively hand loop them for 4. Big brain plays

In theory hypernova burst works in infernoids. If by "works" you mean it can be resolved easily, but for a -1 and no setup for infernoids. The card would be bad if it just discarded them to draw 2, just because of the relatively high potential to not meet the requirements anyways even though it technically would setup some graveyard for a -1. Then its even worse when you consider you would have to decide between extravagence and hypernova burst. Definitely worthy of this list. Gold moon coin it a weird one because the card is really just a -1 if used in the perfect circumstance. If we use infernoids as an example again. Then even if you give 2 infernoids to you opponent, they would likely do everything in their power to make sure they dont use those cards as discard foder to keep them out of the grave. Gold moon coin I feel could be good if we started with 10 cards in hand lol

You could use Extraceratops as kindling for fires. Toasty.

Havent you heard? D/D has been teching Hungry Burger as fodder for Sextet summon in the imaginary world where D/D has been tier -1 for the last 3 years.

In regards to Sextet summon (I know this is bad but you could conceivably do it) you could just about get away with it in Red-Eyes since they're only missing an in theme synchro and a pendulum so you can foolish burial any old pendulum dragon and synchro summoning whatever dragon shouldn't be too hard for Red-Eyes to manage (in a really slow game in addition to all the other crap you'd have to make). Dunno what you're gonna cheese out that's worth a fuck though. Whatever the best special summonable dragon in the extra deck is I guess.

In DDDs, the only rituals you would play would probably be Malacoda and The Masked Beast, and only because they’re dark fiends. The only fusions you’d play would be d’Arc b/c it gains you the LP you would be paying the LP costs of the Dark Contracts and Regular and/or High Genghis because they’re a once per turn recovery option, same with the Alexanders, and Caesar. You’d much rather pendulum summon or use their pendulums for other DDD things than use them for sextet. You’d most likely wouldn’t run all of the summoning methods anyways, it gets messy if you run more than the Link, pendulums, and maybe one other extra deck monster type.

As much as I could see Star Staring Starling in Duel Links, the game tends to avoid adding any card that mentions things that only exist in the actual game, like 4th and 5th monster zones, the Extra Monster Zone (until it gets to links that is) and Main Phase 2, so probably not gonna happen

To be fair to Soul Levy, if you draw 6 cards(Going Second) and you have 34 card's left in your deck. It will only take 12 Special Summons to Deck Out. And I'm gonna tell you right now, every deck this is good against would deck out before setting up an unbreakable board. Like, maybe they'll get a few hard to deal with monster's? Like maybe you get an Appolousa and a negate or two? But even then Minimum your special summoning 8 times which is more than half your deck(24) and you probably don't have the damage to kill your opponent. It really does force your opponent not to set up an unbreakable board, i'd argue if this was playable turn 0 it would be fucking nuts and get banned. They really have to Levy(lol) their odds of either Decking Out, Otking you or setting up an unbreakable board. And if i'm playing this i'm probably playing something to stop an OTK from happening as well along with Hand Traps to prevent them from digging for an out to it. Going second this card is a nightmare to combo decks. Oh let's not forget that the more you draw or search while trying to set up that board the less cards you'll have, like damn this card's not too bad if your playing an anti-meta deck of some kind. If you combined it with Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure, then they lose every card they mill.

My thought with gold moon coin is that you can give your opponent cards that you want in your grave and then mind crush them. See, mind crush isn't useless these days!

As an Ex DDD player: What I can gather from sextet summon is that it takes up a slot you could use for Allure of darkness or your necessary Contracts so what's the point? It's really easy to summon anything from the extra deck anyway (if you have a link Monster lol) and kind of equally as easy to get something from deck

World Legacy can be used in Guardragon decks to cheat out Avramax on turn 1 to protect my monsters. It's not hard to cheat out 7 high level monsters including Red Eyes Darkness Metal with the Guardragons. I use it in case I hard draw World Legacy Guardragon and use IB Justiciar to search out another card.

Fun fact as a troll once I used Child's Play to counter an FTK strat when I won the dice roll since the FTK loop burned for 300 each summon so it literally netted zero each time

Gold Moon Coin has some funny jank FTK with 2 Rainbow Dragon and Ally of Justice Decisive Armor. Which is at least more of a use than most cards on this list.

cant you gold moon coin your dark worlds to them, then discard with a card effect that affects both players and profit from their effects hitting your grave instead of your opponent? and if they choose not to discard your cards they have to discard their own? unless they have only those two cards given to them?

You clearly haven't heard about the strongest deck of them all: Extraceratops-Max-OTK, where you give your opponent an Extraceratops, trample over it with Chaos Max for 7800 damage and then finish off your opponent with SPARKS! Sextet Summon is absolutely impossible to play anywhere near consistent except in @Ignister as they inherently use all summoning types except for Pendulums, which is splashable. D/D/D might be possible as well, but you'd need to integrate a ritual monster, which is much harder to do than just using any pendulum monster. The card is among the worst I have ever seen and I have played this game for 16 years now.

6:20 So what you do is you run this in Buster Bladers, run your fusion into their extra monster zone, summon this on their side of the field then attack it with the fusion monster to deal at least 3700 damage. it's not good but... it's a thing you can do with this card. Also you could leave it there during their turn if you've got the sword that locks them outta their extra deck on the BB fusion. i guess.

A fast Mekk-Knight deck can make use of The World Legacy pretty easily. Yeah, it's slow as hell, but sometimes it can be a nice distraction; if your opponent is focusing on getting rid of it while it has six counters, they might forget to remove a different set card instead. Plus, it counts both sides of the field, so your opponent's monsters can make this work too.

Soul levy is... yeah, its actually a lot of milling if used in conjunction with other sources of mill like bone tower, mill isn't really viable, but the line between viable mill strategy and overpowered mill strategy is super thin. and playing into a mill deck by taking advantage of the free graveyard set up is often part of the mill decks plan. I think this card is as strong as it can be since it decks out your opponent in

I think I have an EXTREMELY fringe use for Handigallop. All it has going for it is having massive attack if the LP disparity is huge right? But attacking with it is almost always pointless or worse. So how about this: Don't attack with it, and instead tribute it for Mystik Wok. If you were losing, the LP is suddenly tied, and if you were winning you are now REALLY winning. It's a cheeky win more 2 card combo for life gain, or a really REALLY bad fallback in a crisis situation. Could cheese a tie in Game 3 though, but neither piece is really searchable. That's all I've got, since they errata'd Ring of Destruction.

Theoretically, you could use Sextet summon in Nekroz. You can dump each of the types from the extra with cards you already play, find a way to set up a pendulum, then ditch a ritual you already play, then activate the card. Of course this is terrible, but i’d play it for the memes.

For a little while, I was thinking that Soul Levy would be a somewhat interesting combo piece with a Gren Maju + Eater of Millions deck that uses stuff like Macro Cosmos and Dimensional Fissure to banish opponent cards too, but then if they pop your banish cards then the milling will probably end up helping them, and even if you get use out of it, that’s a lot of set-up regarding barely searchable continuous traps, and it’s gonna wreck any consistency you had. Same argument can be made for Gravekeepers, which I’m assuming somebody tried to use it with as well. If it was made in an older era when milling decks were somewhat viable, I could absolutely see it being used in a competitive set. Right now, it’s really just gonna be a weird combo idea for some gimmick decks.

For Gold Moon Coin, how does giving Dark world cards to your opponent interact with their discard effects? If you force them to discard them in some way (E.g. Dragged Down Into The Grave etc.) do you get "If this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect" trigger or does your opponent? Do you get the "If it was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect" trigger? Yes Gold Moon Coin is still bad but it could be some casual fun for Dark World decks x)

Handigallop - Have 8000LP, and your opponent have 100 LP. Attack into a 0 ATK monster. Activate Hinotama.

Monarchs can do Sextet Summon. Use Zaborg the Mega Monarch to mill a fusion, synchro, Xyz, Link, and one of those couple of extra deck pendulum monsters. Foolish Burial your ritual garnet. Play Sextet to cheat out something from one of the three or four types that actually has an extra deck pendulum monster. And for all that, you can't even cheat out Raid Raptor Ultimate Falcon, because there isn't an extra deck winged beast.

Stolen cards stories. Invited a friend over in 2003 who invited some kids he knew from his apartment complex. I brought us snacks and drinks to my room, let them play my xbox. That evening I went to swap a card out in my deck (fast drawing exodia) and find all of my exodia pieces, raigeki, mirror force, etc.. all gone. Never saw those kids again.

Honestly, the best I can come up with for Extraceratops is maybe your opponent has a beefy boi on board and you've got a piercing monster on your side of the field, instead of just ending your turn you can run over Extraceratops for some more damage, possibly winning? Extremely situational but still something, I guess.

Fighting Dirty can trigger the effects of Appropriate. So it could be run in an exodia deck that uses monsters that help you get through your deck.

Child's Play is pretty okay in Aromages. Edit: Sextet could theoretically be played in Odd-Eyes since they have all of those card types in archtype but Link, but Dragon is a super common type anyway. Edit 2: Gold Moon Coin can be used to give your opponent Darkworld cards. If you happen to have Card Destruction, you can get their opponent discard effects.

If Sextet Summon could summon a thing while ignoring summoning conditions, then MAYBE you could atleast summon that one Divine monster that wins you the Duel when it's summoned. But it doesn't, so it's bad.

Wouldn't it be possible to use Orchus Release to bring out something like Falcon or Exterio. Admittedly it's quite a set up since you have to mill the card from extra deck to GY but I guess it does allow for some extra boss monsters

12:51 (Played odd-eyes for 2 formats) That's pretty bad. While odd eyes extra deck monsters don't do much in the graveyard, the only extra deck is odd eyes vortex for negates. And the fact that odd eyes doesn't have any link means you're spending resources on bringing out one that is actually good, then sending it to the grave just for the draw. Not to mention that the ritual is a garnat in hand without it's ritual, and sending it to the grave is actually the best thing you could it, as I believe that the ritual spell card allows you to special summon from grave. So it's actually pretty easy to get things in the grave, turn 1. Now, the question is: is it worth it? Hell no. Odd eyes already has a archetypes specific card for this called odd eyes absolute. Way better, even if it isn't any extra deck, with the only cost is having it destroyed.

I think extraceratops is meant to be that you beat over your opponent’s card, it summons itself to your opponent’s field and then you destroy it to draw a card. So swapping an attack for a draw.

extraceretops in crusadia is basically an otk you summon it go into linkuriboh then just crusadia plays hit an opponent's monster and if they are still alive summon the extraceretops to their field to otk.

Do we even have a card that can make your Opponent set cards to their Field?? Cheese Strategy becomes a 4-card win con if we ever get any. (But you have to HARD DRAW all of them like it's Super Vehicroid Stealth Union) So even bad then.

Dude, believe it or not, i run 2 copies of Hypernova Burst in my Machina deck. It’s perfect considering none of my monsters in this deck can be normal summoned. No joke, if you want to know how I make it work, simply ask me for the deck list and I’ll reply with every card in my deck. Hypernova Blast isn’t terrible, it is decent.

You can give your opponent relay soul through golden moon coin, then use some card to topdeck it to your opponents deck then use goddes verdandes guidence to set it to your opponents field, then use bait doll and forcing your opponent to activate it, its not good, but its possible.

There's gonna be some weird ass parasite deck one day where you give your opponent cards and it fucks them over and Gold Moon Coin will be broke

Sextet Summon can *kind of* be cheesed out by card effects that just send from Extra Deck to grave. Two out of the three cards I know that can do it needs you to pay chunks of life. I really wish the Sextet Summon did more because I like the name and the artwork. Especially like if it could have ignored summoning conditions like you said.

Ok hear me out. Soul Levy by itself is bad now. But what if you have Necrovalley too. Child's Play is always active first turn in Tag. Hypernova Burst can debrick Meklord opening hands. It's not great but it works. Gold Moon Coin will find it's home with negative cards eventually

Soul Levy is like the reverse Maxx C challenge. They have to make their board without milling themselves out instead of trying to mill you out.

In most TCGs, going -6 is a great way to guarantee your loss... so the reward for doing so must be of the win condition-kind for it to be worth a damn. And even then, the opponent can just slap you with the NOPE and then proceed to hand you your ass on a silver platter.

found a use for fighting dirty. set it and torrential tribute behind some unchained monsters. then sure both players draw 2, but all your unchained float into other monsters, and you can end their combo if you use torrential properly. now I don't think unchained existed at the time you made this video, but it could be usable now.

soul levy doesn't seem that bad, what if you have a every card sent to grave is banished or what if their deck runs a few one-of combo pieces that don't want to be in the grave

fighting dirty honestly isnt as bad as it could be. its that brand of slow konami trap that technically does something strong but slowly or poorly.

as a ddd player i can tell you you'd rather fold with a perfect board than even consider using sextet summon...just no why would you ever use this thing or the number 2 or 1 cards...like holy jesus why are these so terrible

Personally I think that the meta would be more diverse if Konami stop making such garbage or under-powered cards, specially for nostalgic decks, sisters of the roses was kind of disappointing specially for harpies and cyber angels, they gave us Dream Mirrors instead of more Time Thief and they gimmick was just awful, Dinowrestlers could had been an interesting choice if it wasn't for the fact they barely work, they gave us Pankratops but is just the best card of what seems to be the worst replacing for Goukis, also they screw up goukis, they hit important cards in rogue decks (I miss Multifaker), they made great cards for good decks way to generic that got banned (rusty) and they made infernity barrier cards that are just not enough (most of them only negate spell of traps).

The 6 cards you banish could instead be turned into 6 negates in pendulum...

Hypernova Burst could "possibly" work in Metaphys since you can banish the high level monsters but even still you could play better draw cards.
