Ahhhh I can’t believe it’s finally done! Thank you so much for letting me edit this Batta the Beast of a video. Still disappointed that Gheb didn’t get his spotlight, but there’s always next time, right? 👀
Gomer doesn't always have 12 speed on H5. He has 11 speed 75% of the time and 12 speed 25% of the time. It doesn't make him any less dumb in design, but that 1 point of speed stops him from doubling Jagen, which is a big deal.
@@Skasaha_ i will never understand why enemies growth rates are a thing. That's how half of FE bullshit difficulty originate from. That and poor playtesting. Like, i am supposed to believe that a Beta tester played the first chapters of H5 and said "yea, this is fine, keep it".
@@noukan42 it's a lot easyer to program/design. It's so much easyer to say let's place a lv 5 enemy here, a lv 4 enemy here, and a lv 7 enemy here than to individually enter stats for every enemy. Also when you come back in later stages of design to make higher difficulties you can simply modify the enemy growth rates or lvs instead of essentially designing a new map. Also i doubt any fe game was ever play tested past hard mode but that probably has to do with maintaining a budget. Play testing is mostly for quality control and less so much focused on the game play itself unless it is a glaring issue.
@@gameboyn64 first you don't need to handplace the stat of EVERY enemy, because usually lots of enemies share the same class and level. Hell, you can just give them fixed growths and it would work much better. Second, i would agree whit that if it was a small indie company, but right now FE is printing money for one of the biggest SH, they don't need to cut corners. I repeat, whatever that boss was supposed to doube Jeigan or not on H5 is a very big deal, wich changes a lot how you approaches the battle. Leaving something like that to chance means that the playtest was piss poor.
I still can't get over my ridiculous luck the first time I fought the Black Knight. It left me with the impression that If you had Aether its activation rate was artificially inflated to 100% for that battle, because I two-rounded him with two successive activations of Aether. Made for a rude awakening on my second playthrough.
@@ElHarmonyV I was talking about in PoR. The Black Knight is a General with Luna in that game. But no, I just had about the opposite luck as in my first run, not getting Aether at all and losing/having to flee the battle because the turn limit expired.
Honestly for the black knight battle I always thought they should've done a scripted Aether proc when he was in killing range. You'd probably still have to hit 'em like hell a few times, but it'd at least guarantee you wouldn't get screwed over.
My favorite part of the Black Knight fight is how right before it Titania and Soren get into an argument about it and Soren says that "sometimes, bravery and good judgment aren't enough" Because there is also RNG
Insane production quality. I know sometimes these videos may seem unrewarding because of how much work they take, but let it be known that they're thoroughly appreciated.
It was satisfying for me to hear him tear into the Black Knight fight from FE 9, considering that it was the game I just finished on Hard Mode 2 weeks ago and Chapter 27 was even harder than Endgame. I didn't expect him to actually put it at number 1, but the way I got stomped in hard mode, even with a nearly maxed out Ike with all his important stats capped (strength, speed, skill, defense and HP, as well as s rank in swords) was just annoying as the Black Knight activated Luna EVERY. SINGLE. GODFORSAKEN. TURN. I couldn't even go on the offense because he got Luna twice and 2KOd me. I shrugged it off as a meager case of luck, but then I went through the whole map again, and the same thing happened. So, 3rd times the charm, went in and finally managed to get two aethers back to back and defeated him. God how this fight was so much better in Radiant Dawn.
Sorry to hear what you went through, I get the issue others see in the fight but I personally can't bring myself to hate it even if it is a RNG fest. At least the buildup and general presentation of the fight still stand strong.
@@ResurgentRaven Just saying, Wrath + Nihil is probably the way to go. Nihil will ignore Luna and you're not killing the Burger King without Wrath, and if you're on Difficult (and not Maniac) Mode, I doubt anyone else needs Nihil. I mean, do generics really get Occult skills? You also want to use the Wrath scroll on Ike anyway because of Wrath + Resolve for the Final Chapter. The fact that without save states you have to replay the entire chapter 27 is total BS though. Replaying the chapter and the time limit are the only things really wrong with it tbh. The battle itself is fine. It's easily beatable if you had more turns.
@@ametaslave7314 Wrath + Nihil is still problematic if you get RNG screwed, since, like I said before, the Black Knight can get double Luna. Plus, unless my math is off, you need 2 perfect wraths and a normal hit due to BK's Renewal skill. Within two Lunas, Ike is dead without proper healing. Which brings me to my next point. Granted you don't get many healers until you promote your mages (because what idiot would promote their mage to use knives instead of staves?). However, having to rely on Mist's healing only is rather annoying especially if she died early on. Point is that, without certain skills, there is no physical way to actually knock out the black knight within the turn limit (which is six turns btw) and even with certain skills, having to rely on pure RNG to win is just appalling. Also, my Ike had only Aether in the endgame and not once did he come close to dying except against Ashnard, and I had five healers by that point, so I wasn't anywhere near as worried about the RNG. Wrath Resolve is a better way since they can be used to easily ORKO most foes with Ike easily, but the Occult Skills in PoR aren't as deadly as in Radiant Dawn. Sol and Deadeye deal any extra damage, Flare doesn't heal. Colossus might as well be (in Feh's terms) a Moonbow with a 10 cooldown). Pretty much the only few occults worth learning are Aether (Ike), Lethality (Volke), Luna (Halberdier and General), and Astra (Mia Zihark and Lucia). And out of these 4, Aether is still the best. Most characters can make perfect usage out of Wrath + Resolve (at least, those that have the skill circle to use it), but only Ike can use Aether.
@@Zastralord Believe me, I don't want to hate it, but it is a poor level design choice. I guess since they decided on its sequel, they planned for a second fight between Ike and the Black Knight, they knew they'd have to make that second fight much easier (and it really is).
I remember in PoR there was a conversation Ike had with Nasir (I think?) where he tells Ike that sometimes there are battles where you have to retreat and fight another day, and when I got to the BK fight I thought maybe that was what he was talking about. And then my untrained Mist joined and I was like "nope I'm out"
Holy crap Mekkah the production values with this one are a thing to behold. As far the list goes, haven't finished the video yet but I have the hunch a certain endgame Dragon boss from Three Houses is gonna pop up at one point. EDIT: Welp I guess I was right.
Promoted Dieck can actually be a safe way to fight Henning. He is slightly bulkier and has slightly higher Luc than Rutger, so it’s possible for him to either survive a Crit or for Henning to have 0 Crit against him. Dieck takes longer to kill Henning than Rutger does, but he gets the job done.
***SILVER SNOW SPOILERS BELOW*** Yeah, I honestly think that Berserk Rhea at the end of Silver Snow is my least favorite boss of three houses. Not for the miracle mechanic, that was never a problem with me. It's the stupid perma staggering blow mechanic. It makes it straight up impossible to whittle away at her barrier and forces you to alpha strike her if you want any hope of dealing meaningful damage to her. And if you make one miscalculation, or one of your gambits misses, say goodbye to all the barrier damage you just did, because it's all back now.
I think the real salt-in-the-wounds for the Black Knight fight is that you get the Resolve Scroll DURING that Chapter 27. Not before, or even after, but that exact chapter. Meaning, you don't get to visit the Base between chapters where you can assign Skills. Meaning you can't assign Resolve to Ike prior to fighting the Black Knight, but you can have it SITTING IN YOUR HANDS. The Wrath + Resolve combo is a great way to take on Ashnard in the final chapter, but noooooooo. The developers just couldn't let you actually have consistent fun against the Black Knight doing the same method. It would have been the perfect fight to really feel the combo showcase Ike's growth to his dad's killer, too. What a missed opportunity.
Plot-wise, the Burger King fight kinda makes sense. Assuming you beat him and Radiant Dawn happens, he reveals that he decided to go easy on you. The only reason Ike wins is because the Burger King decided to let him win, so in-game, that translates to an rng chance that he lets you win.
I mean, that's pretty cruel on Ike. The reason Burger King does that (at least, by the localization) is because he saw a glimpse of Greil's swordplay in Ike, and wanted to fight him when he reached his peak. If he doesn't let Ike win by that reasoning, then it means he literally didn't consider Ike's skills worth anything. But maybe that's justice for all the Ikes in the world who adamantly refused to level strength ever and tink on the Burger King.
I mean that doesn't even really make sense. Going easy on someone is a conscious effort. If he truly planned on letting Ike win to get stronger, he would just let Ike win to get stronger. The better way to have the Black Knight go easy on you using game mechanics would be removing some of the stats he had in previous fights, being something a shrewd player would notice. Or getting rid of Luna, as if the BK doesn't want to fuck Ike up, maybe he shouldn't use the technique that can fuck ANYBODY up with no remorse. Only way the way the fight plays out makes sense is if BK had a two faced esque demeanor, where he left things to chance or flipped coins/drew cards to determine his next move. As it stands, BK feels more like you get lucky enough to whomp him and then next game he's like "Nice try idiot, didn't count" despite him swinging with intent to kill using Luna.
In the Japanese version, Ike beating the Burger King in PoR was because of a "warp powder malfunction" which left Ike fighting a shade of the man. There are so many things wrong with that it hurts, so they changed it to the BK letting Ike win. It sort of explains why the BK doesn't seem to be going easy on him, but is still weaker overall. That said, the RD version of the BK has better stats all around, but so does Ike. No surprise that he had no chance when Ike fully matured I guess.
@@flamegeyser9781 Only from a story based standpoint though. Black Knight is still a pain to fight in the actual game if you don't cheese it with a Hammer, and may Yune help you if you took Nihil off of Ike for any reason
@@RobinDJoker He's only somewhat hard if you run up to him, because he's on a defense tile. If you don't, and your Ike wasn't super RNG screwed, he's not that tough. Should be able to take 30 damage off him per round with the Ragnell compared to his 19 or so.
"Listen to these absolute bangers" _immediately_ _opens_ _with_ _one_ _of_ _Genealogy's_ _best_ _themes_ Also, Fun Fact about the Black Knight: Ike's Strength cap is 26. 26 Str + Ragnell's 18 Mt = 44 Atk - BK's 35 Def = 9 damage. If Ike hits during both phases he'll do 18 damage and BK will recover 6 for a net 12 damage - exactly enough to kill him on the 5th turn even without Aether if Ike can land all 10 attacks. Of course, on average Ike will have 20+ skill by that point so it's likely 2 of those hits trigger Aether anyways and Aether striking twice with the second hit negating 50% Def significantly cuts back on the amount of hits required to beat BK.
Even though Indech completely bodied me with that miracle proc, he's still one of my favorites from that game. Turtle dad has a harsh way of showing his love, it's fiiiiine lmao Well done video Mekkah and Em, really enjoyed watching that!~
@@Edgeperor Not really, the only way for Aion to attack is if you attack Kishuna first and don't kill him. You kill Aion first, then Kishuna. HHM Genesis is actually tough because Kishuna leaves, but any other version is below average.
@@RandalfElVikingo That's false. On HHm Kishuna leaves on turn 9 if I recall correctly. You're straight up assuming the player made a mistake instead of thinking that "hmm... maybe Aion dodged his hits too much, and couldn't kill him before Kishuna left". We aren't rating the maps difficulty, we are rating how dependant THE BOSSFIGHTS are on RNG. Genesis is easier if Kishuna leaves earlier, much like how imprisoner of magic is easier if you can kill Aion before Kishuna leaves.
@@MarceloKatayama Turn 12 in HHM, actually. You can reach Kishuna with a full army in 10 turns or less and that means you can kill Aion along the way. I bet you will lose your shit playing a mission like Crystal Calamity in Advance Wars DS because that map requires to take more than one treat in few turns to get an S rank (one of my favorite Intelligent System levels, by the way).
I personaly fell the same with Gell by Henning is also a absolute mother fucker. I think Gell is worst because you can break his weapons and attack with 9 characters at the time. If you break Gell light brand you actually lose accuracy because lances now aren't a option without WT, if you break that thing you are probably softlock because even if you hit he will regenerate all the damage. He make me reach the highest turn count I ever had, 889 turns.
I'd love to see more of these top ten videos. I understand they can feel like a creative constraint, but they're such an entertaining format. Also big props to the epic boss battle music at the start. Really sets the mood.
27:26 Binding Blade thrones grant 5 res and not 3, so it's even worse. But at the very least you have the Light brand to deal some "decent" damage, right?
russian potato rurtgur has like 60 hit on him and with true hit its even higher. He does like 8 or 9 damage on average has a pretty high chance of critting. Rutgur also isn’t frail so he can tank two hits. Thats why I wouldn’t consider henning to be that tough but without rutgur good luck. You probably would need a trained lugh to chip and dip him to death
Yooo Danganronpa music To this day I've still never gone Sacae since I like getting all three pegasi, but it looks super interesting and I'll probably do it next time
[RPG] Runaway I was unlucky to get sacae the first two times of me playing fe 6, its not that its brutaly hard or anything, its just so fucking annoying compared to illia, plus the atmosphere is prettier in illia
@@arman_llc624 I went into FE7 thinking the aesthetics of the huts in Sacae were original to that game only to have my world rocked after actually looking at the Sacae maps Gotta give it a shot soon
I think Ursula from FE7 deserves a honourable mention here. Rushing her down and taking her out early is possible, but she can be such a pain if you leave her alive. Starts moving without warning, one-rounds Zephiel with Bolting, and kills Nino if she suddenly decides to step into her range.
If you think about it, Butterfree is the Jagen pokemon of the OG pokemon RBY series. It's essentially a pre-promote, being a fully evolved pokemon at level 10 with high base stats, and low stat growths. It can be very useful against the 1 (no rock moves on those low levels), 2 and 4th gym as a damage absorber, and even later on, it has utility with sleep powder and supersonic. It doesn't do well against the 3rd gym, as Lt. Surge's Pokemon have moves with weapon triangle advantage.
Only problem is you have to train it up from a derpy Caterpie. The last time I played Fire Red I called my Butterfree "Jagest", because it's somehow an Est and a Jagen at the same time.
In doing a PoR play through right now and I'm on the Black Knight chapter, and I agree with you on everything you said. My Ike isn't very strong and I just don't want to continue with the play through because it just feels so bad that I can't defeat the Black Knight because that's the whole point of the game. It's even more frustrating because the follow up fight with him in RD is so underwhelmingly easy due to the cover tiles and the fact that Ike's bases are amazing even with his modest growths. Anyways that's my rant I agree with the top choice.
About the balck knight fight: Yes it is luck based, yes it is unfair to players, especially on hard mode, and yes it is quite punishing to die, but I think that that's the point, it was designed like that. The way I always interpret it is to show that Ike, no matter how much he trains, he cannot truly suprass the black knight, it's still too soon for him, he still needs to train more, it's a decision the game designers made voluntarily since even at his max Ike still has a very tough time throughout the fight. This is even addressed in RD, where if Ike fight the black knight in part 3, the black knight tells Ike that he sees that he wasn't ready yet, and it is shown through the fight, you could call this a forced explanation, but I think it made sense since ike's stats will always be inferior to the black knight, and i think that's the point. They understood it was hard, and they made this boss optional by giving you an escape route. I think the main problem of that fight was the time limit, it didn't have to be there and it really destroyes the fight. that's the only part of that fight that the player has no control over, other than that? luna, renewall, the enemy reinforcements, these complications are manageable if the player handles himself well, like for example bringing elixirs or trying to create the best chances to win. I think that's the real problem, without the time limit this fight would be MUCH more managable. And it does feel forced to put a time limit on such an important fight
I agree 100% instead of a time limit they should have given a specific tile you could step on to flee and it’s not fun to play but for story reasons I think it makes sense in a way it can be more satisfying in radiant dawn where you finally get to fight him and beat for real
@@Ethan-nl2wg Thing is there are 3 tiles you can step on to escape at any time during the fight if you don't wanna chance it or can't win. But the fact that there is a boss you might actually be unable to defeat is a bit much especially after already fighting a boss. And the time limit is absolute garbage
@@domc8089 I agree! Actually I belive Ashnard to be the worse of the two. Story aside yes Black Knight is an unfun rng fiesta but he is optional, you dont have to fight him, unlike Ashnard whom you have to defeat. Unlike most of the unfair bosses Ashnard isnt unfair in the way that he has killer weapon or random procs or too much dodge, however also unlike other bosses his rng isnt selfcontained in his map, rather his rng is the entire game. Every single time Ike gains a level you roll whether he will be strong enough to kill Ashnard. Got RNG screwed? No problem you can always use the old and reliable Tit- oh wait you cant. Because for some god forsaken reason only Ike and Ena (and Nasir but if you have Nasir your ike is strong enough) can deal damage to Ashnard. And Ena isnt very good, without help of broken Wrath and Resolve she cant really do anything. To add the insult to the injury the laguz royals show up after you have beaten him already once, and if you managed then you probably can bully him twice. To conclude yes BK fight is very bad but at least its optional and not required to beat the game.
“Waiting until Rudolf is dad... I mean dead.” Mekkah why must you hurt me in this way Also I love the lil chibis from the Meet the Heroes bits showing up at the bottom of the screen 🥺🥺🥺
I swear to god when i fought the black knight in my very recent PoR run ike only did critical hits and won easily in two turns, so my reaction was "oh, i guess it was scripted to be a fight that can't be lost with automatic critical hits with all attacks with the ragnell, very lame" This realization of my luck is really funny now
As much as I hate Boldo in Chapter 2 on FE4, I think the next boss, MacBeth, is even worse. With 23 defense, pavise, a leadership star, and good enough offensive stats to threaten your magic-users, he is actually really difficult if you fail to get the armorslayer from the villages mentioned in the video. Yeah, you can also "star" your weapon by getting 50 kills to also help bypass his defenses, but this is not something a first-time player will know to do unless they do their homework.
I don't think MacBeth is as bad as Boldo because there is no rush in killing him and his 2-range is weaker (Javelin instead of Steel Bow). What he adds in defense he lacks in resistance so you can Light Brand him with Ethlin. And because of the lack of a time constraint, you have more time to set up something like a lover or sibling critical on him. He does have a 8% higher Pavise rate though which is super annoying. Think of that entire Boldo segment as a shoutout to all the Pavise enemies in FE4.
Hooly mooly this is Chaz levels of editing. This is probably a video I rewatch quite a few times just for the flashiness. Killer combo of fun-to-hear Mekkah advice and some great editing.
I was fully expecting this to be dominated by FE6 and Shadow dragon bosses but I’m pleasantly surprised. This was super well made and whatever your editor got paid to put this all together isn’t enough. Probably the most beautiful video on your channel and I’m hoping you keep this momentum! Thanks for the great watch as always and I’m really looking forward to more of this content.
19:13 This is actually untrue. Medeus has 50 ATK, meaning with capped HP, (60) and 21 or higher DEF, you can survive Medeus while being doubled. This means that a capped Marth can safely enter combat with Medeus without it being the killing blow. Though actually doing so is rather pointless.
Now you might be correct, but if we use a binomial distribution to calculate the chance of Marth's 20% Defense growth (yes, you read that correctly, 20%) getting up to 17, which if you give him both Dracoshields you get in the game, is the minimum needed for Marth to survive against Medeus (oh, and by the way, Marth can't get to 60 HP without both Seraph Robes, as well, so you'd have to give him those too for this!), you get a result of between 4 and 5%. So around one in twenty two players will get a Marth that has the Defense to stand up to Medeus - and that doesn't even take into account possibly not getting Marth to level 30, or not getting Marth's HP capped, or missing one of the Dracoshields or Seraph Robes. I think anyone will agree that isn't reliable odds.
@@lefthandedscout9923 LOL chapter 24 secret shop, you are uninformed. The cost opportunity argument isn't really valid either as Marth is a poor investment, It's merely a possibility you could do. Also, growth rates in SD function differently than every other game. If you fail to get a stat via level up your next level will raise the base growth by 10%, this keeps repeating until you have gained a point in that stat. This means that Marth's defense growth will keep increasing by 2% until he gains defense.
@Iroboke regarding the latter point, I was under the impression that shadow dragon only had this "gain growths thing" if you got no level up on ALL your stats, as a similar system to the GBA games rerolling level ups entirely. If there's something you can link me to about that, then I'd like to see it. Regardless, if you needed Marth to level up that many times (obviously, as you said, without Chapter 24's secret shop, although I feel it's fair to disinclude that as that is literally invisible and wouldn't be known to an average player even if they beat Normal mode first, and if you're looking up stuff to find that you're better off just using the well known Aum Warp strategy discussed in the video instead) then you have to get at least 1 in 3 Defense level ups, which means your Defense growth will average at 24% at best over Marth's 29 levels. I don't think this improves your odds much, unless I'm having a math fail.
I hate to be nitpick, but this was honestly throwing me off a lot throughout the video, so I just had to comment for future reference. Pavise is pronounced like "pavis." The ability is in reference to pavise shields, which were _very_ large shields that, unlike regular shields, were not held in the hand when in use but instead deployed on the ground to stand upright independently. They essentially acted as portable cover from incoming arrow fire.
Oh my gosh, that was so garbage. Not only did it have multiple health bars, but it had that “ooh let’s send your units all across the map” too. I just realized that the only route in 3H without a multiple health bar final boss is Verdant Wind.
I remember the good ol' 'Use your Canto units to hit-and-run out of the non-moving boss' danger zone while everyone else kills the stupidly weak minion units' boss Honestly the teleporting gimmick is so useless due to the boss itself not moving. You just need to waste another turn to get your units in formation again... and that's about it. I like the ideas presented in that boss fight, but jesus the execution was just so tedious.
@@sir.hopper I kinda liked it on hard. Everything felt like it was on a knife's edge, between victory and disaster. Definitely my favorite map of the DLC (let's not talk about some others tho).
I remember on my first silver snow playthrough, I was out of divine pulses and had immaculate one down to 2 hp. All my units were dead except byleth. I was about to finish the game and then immaculate’s miracle activated, then she killed byleth. I remember just sitting there stewing in what just happened for like 5 minutes afterward
I admit I played most of these games on emulator so I guess the pain didn't really feel so real when save scumming exists and since I played these games as a fully grown adult. But my god, when you said "Kishuna" my groans of despair could be felt on the moon. And that number one pick! YEP. YEP. I remember being PARANOID about using Mist religiously after my first playthrough, all because of him.
I've always thought that the prologue of fe7 was funny because it tells you to attack batta on player phase, which makes about a 25% chance that Lyn dies in the very first, guided chapter.
The Fire Emblem Warriors music was a real banger with all those heavy layered, thick, guitars. I find it interesting how they are able to blend orchestral instruments with the heavier modern guitar music. Also, no one can pronounce falchion correctly. Not even Matt Mercer. My first FE game was Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, and my God people say its easy, and they aren't wrong, but I had a false impression of how easy it is. Sure you can solo with Seth, but there is a lot to know first and lookout for. Honestly, my biggest gripes were me getting screwed over by bad rng. Whenever I needed to keep npcs alive. One of the enemy myrmidons got a 1% crit... And for the final boss, when you have to kill the big dragon thing, I had to restart the chapter because I needed additional regalia wielding units and the two I had weren't good enough by themselves.
I've recently taken up playing through FE9, so I was watching through, nodding my head at the FE11 early game bosses, and watching out to see if I had anything to be worried about in the upcoming chapters. Nearing the end of it, I was a bit relieved that FE9 hadn't come up at all. And then disaster struck.
In my case the hardest was Henning, becuase I only had 3 useful units. Lugh could hit him but he mostly was about to die. Rutger was a level 12 mirimidon yet he did like 5 damage and didnt double. The only unit I could deal damage was a promoted Dieck, which was a lv3 Hero, but the fight took like 12 turns
List is great, heres a few mentions that were missed. Ryoma CQ- While not as bad, its similar to the BK fight were if your Corrin isnt fast enough he can double you(which will happen most of the time), like Eclipse Ryoma can Proc astra. And sure Haha funny meme he waits for revenge, but no matter what damage you do he can heal back. Only thing I'd say makes it easier is you can still make through if your other units kill Kagero and Saizo in time. Nuibaba- We all know how much cheese its required to beat that map. Without warping or hunters Volley, you'll have to trog all the way around the map to get to her. I'd like to add to the Drahons thing, while not as hard. Rhea on CF is still difficult due to the bring terrain and how large her barrier is. Add on your have to kill a majority of the units on the map as if you dont they'll all swarm you while attacking her. And Rhea comes close to 1 shoting if not she does, and those others will come in and finish your units off.
Honestly, if the Archanea games have another remake, they should let Marth promote to Lodestar and have his caps at 30. (For design, Shadow Dragon could be the Warriors Lodestar class, and Mystery of the Emblem could be Legendary Marth's design.)
imo, the boss itself is not too hard to be killed, unlike those 3 saints dragon who have dragon skin and miracle, the wandering beast is easy. But if I include the map, yeah that paralogue is annoying fog map + phantom + 20++ beasts, additionally, marianne's starting position is so bad. My strategy for that map is fight the boss as soon as possible after successfully rescue marianne, reclassing marianne into flier also help her survivalbility chance.
Worth to mention that Medeus doesn't have those stats just in H5, but in H4 and H3 as well. And H2 is just -1 str -1 spd from that, so still doubling Marth for 49 atk
Mekkah, this is incredible! I'm sure Ryn had a hand in making this video what it is, but you have made some high bar content here. Keep up the good work!
You forgot to mention that the Speed Ring in Gaiden automatically maxes spd when its equipped. Not that its necessarily important, hes still bullshit. Also, while I agree that Black Knight is a really shitty boss, why isn't Ashnard in here? You cant call laguz on hard or above on the first phase so you HAVE to rely on either Ike or Ena if you cannot beat BK in the first place and he has stats very similar to BK
@@Skasaha_ resolve is an absolute must, but even still with the resolve wrath ena strat, it's not nearly as reliable as would be desired. She also needs around 2 energy drops and 2 speedwings. And at the very least, you can just opt out of the black Knight fight. You have to fight ashnard two consecutive times with no help from royals the first time. What about Ike, you may ask? Well, ike is a damn liability to begin with and if you even bother to train him, hes still unreliable even with resolve as a factor
The production quality of this video is insane. Keep up the good work! Also: did not expect to hear Katana ZERO music in a Fire Emblem video, glad it was there
tbh I think this is one of these cases, where Mekkah actually got kidnapped and is now trying to signal to his subs that something is really wrong with him. There's simply no other explanation as to why he'd have such good audio quality, so long as he still has a perfectly fine working toaster.
