Torterra with a defensive tera like steel into shellsmash should not be an overlooked team member for singles.

Yes, Torterra with Shell Smash really has the potential to be a decent sweeper. But it still has a lot of weaknesses such as the combo stab of Grass and Ground types is not really good, along with still not being able to outspeed some Paradox +1 Pokemon. And as I meantioned in video, Ground type Pokemon in general almost is good Pokemon, so Torterra ranked tenth in this list does not mean it is weak, just not better than other Ground type Pokemon imo.

Lightning rod sees use on mons including marowak-alola to architet and deal with common electric types in Doubles

Yes bro. Lightning Rod is not a bad ability, but for Marowak, it is quite useless. Alolan Marowak is much better than Kanto Marowak with a good offensive typing and better moves set.
