Id say its the lyrics. On vocals alone its a nice duet, Wonder and McCartney have decent chemistry. Tune is nice. But the lyrics are too cheesy to take it seriously; not good when its meant as a ‘statement’ song.

Those were in 2010 , but duets was made in 2000 she didnt sing on another movie or tv show for about 10 years after that movie they could have clarified it but what they said is the truth she didnt have a singing career at all and she didnt sing again for years. Its message is nice, but it delivers it in such a cheesy way that its hard to take seriously. Ive always said the lyrics are the only thing i find bad about the song; tune is nice, some good vocal chemistry. Just very corny lyrics, which isnt good for a ‘statement’ song.

The number one was spot on!!! Sly Stallone should..not sing. Ever. But ‘Cruisin’ should not be on here. And Paltrow said many times she wasn’t interested in switching to a music career. She had fun experimenting but you’d think if she was truly serious she’d have taken advantage of all those years of being married to Coldplay front man. Poor research...

Doing a duet of Changes years later was a mistake. It's obvious they wanted to use the name recognition of the older song. I would have liked a song written by them much better. I don't care for her voice but I would have respected the effort put into creating a new song just for them rather than co-opting Changes
