No, it looks terrible. Spiderman 1 (2002) was made 19 years ago, even older then fantastic four, and the cgi in Spiderman looks so much better

I was less offended by Rhino's "floaty-head" syndrome than I was by the fact that we didn't get to see him actually fight Spider-Man in that cool mech-suit.

The true biggest problem with the movie is resumed to: Too much for so little time, like, this movie has so many subplots and additions that it can't develop and connect them properly in its about 2 hours of duration

The only problem with Banner in the Hulkbuster armor is when he removes the helmet. When he's in the HUD view, it's perfectly fine.

In the theater, my attention was immediatly drawn to Bruce's floating head. It kind of ruined the scene. :-( It's like they ran out of time (money?) and just had to slap it together

Just use a good mix of practical effects and CGI. Put Ruffalo inside of a fake mech suit (or just part of it) and add the rest with CGI.

I'm surprised they didn't have a HB mech or torso they can use for filming. Once you get past the chest, having everything else CGI'd wouldn't have been noticed at all.

They didn't texture the stretched limbs well at all, stretch any part of your skin and you'll notice the pores stretch and move, light reflection and sub surface scattering were not implemented in the animations making the skin look like plastic as aposed to stretched flesh, as someone who studies VFX I can tell you that even 16 years ago this could have been achieved in a more believable fashion, it's not the technology that let them down here, a little more time on these effects would have made all the difference

Fantastic 4 is still WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the remake and its CGI actually wasn't too bad at all, and I can see how realistic stretching can be a difficult to pull off. What I don't get is why Robert Downy Jr looks so natural in he Hulkbuster but Bruce Banner.....well yeah

There's a very uncanny effect to where you know the actor isn't in the suit. Compared to Iron Man or Warmachine, you know the motion capturing is picking their body movement, we just see some tiny head on a large body. I don't even know how Bruce controls it, is he pulling levers inside or swinging his own limbs? Because there doesn't look like there is space for him to do either inside.

I actually never noticed or remember the Blade Trinity "Eyes Opening" CGI, I was always more bothered with the CGI in Blade 2 when they had the fight scene in the first act in front of the big spot lights. Looked like 3 stick figures jumping around and fighting with swords.

I too think the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a great and seriously underestimated movie. And yes Sean Connery was brilliant in that flick, rest in peace Sean Connery (1930-2020), the world had lost one of the greatest actors of the 20 Century and early 21st Century. He was the original movie James Bond.

The biggest problem with the fight between Hellboy and the giants is that they tried to make it look like a single shot sequence Doing something like that requires extra planning and careful execution, especially if you're gonna blend virtual cinematography with practical effects BLACK PANTHER did the same thing and didn't do any better

I’m hoping the MCU can finally do the Fantastic Four justice. Until then the 2005 film is sadly the best adaptation of Marvel’s first superhero family. I know that isn’t saying much, but compared to the 2015 reboot which shall not be named, I think there’s no contest.

The Super Hyde scene from LXG is still one of my favourite fight scenes in a movie. There's something about it... even though the CGI may not be the greatest I just love that scene.
