If I'm being honest I like the cosmetic upgrades for businesses, I like the personalisation, especially because some of the stock businesses can look bland and kind of boring

The lower houses can be bought as spawn points. Especially when you play in invite only sessions, its soooo simple to just select a new spawn point... and then launch a new invite only session. You'll teleport to the house. And those are super cheap too. You can have up to 6 houses if I'm not mistaken. So you get one high end that you like... and 5 cheap spawn points. I haven't tried but obviously, I'm pretty sure it doesn't work during missions.

As a piece of advice, buy whatever makes you happy

I remember being younger, watching Gta online videos, wanting to play it SOOOO badly. And the thing that my 11 year old self thought was the coolest thing in the game was that you could buy a yacht. Ever since then, I wanted it. I bought the maxed out yacht a little while ago, and I don't regret it. I fulfilled the prophecy

I really like to customize my businesses and I go for the cosmetic upgrades (with the weekly discount), and even if I know those are really useless in terms of practicality or efficiency, in the end I just wanna have fun with the game, so I dont regret any purchase♥

Way way back I bought a low end house that was basically inbetween the bunker and the facility in the northwest corner. Bunker and facility were not a thing yet, I think heists had just been added. I liked it though because that part of the map was just empty 99% of the time. It was also close to a helipad which was nice. I could spawn in away from everyone and make up a plan on what I wanted to do. Usually just blow people up with my hydra or heli because there wasn't anything else to do then if you were solo.

I think the Luxor deluxe dropping was the first sign of where rockstar was going as of recent

8:30 I mostly agree with this however a paleto bay house is very convenient if you're grinding bunker stuff or doomsday heist (assuming you bought the cheapest facility and bunker like I did) since you can set your spawnpoint there and not have to go all the way up to paleto bay.

One useful thing I see about the low or mid range apartments is if you don't have much money, then it is a good place to store cars if you can't afford anywhere else to get them

Krieger is very practical, it has no back window so you're impossible to kill from behind. It's also very fast and accelerates like a charm

I purchased the yacht for the missions, and because I was sitting on a ton of cash and it was on sale. It's always nice to change it up a bit.

So basically: - Buy to earn don't buy to enjoy.

My yacht is still my favorite “apartment” and I always spawn there. I love the auto defenses and the readily available chopper and boats. Definitely not cost effective, but I still don’t regret buying it.

As a car guy who grinds only to buy some nice cars and properties, I think it's nice to have more than 1 sports/super car (depending on ur preferance)

I feel like the shark cards was a good thing to put on the list. Making the money is part of the fun of GTA. Buying one just takes away from that. Yet again I have bought a shark card. But The only time I have bought one is when I just had a little money left on a gift card and had no other way to spend it.

I gotta say, I got the yacht during a sale of it and i never regretted it. Mostly because, the same day I got it, the anti-air defenses killed TWO mk2 greifers who were chasing me in my buzzard. Best moment I had since getting the game.

I know what you mean with shark cards but it’s a good idea in it prevents money farmers. People that would play just to farm money to then sell to other players for real money. It was a real big problem in world of Warcraft.

I got the game for free and it was my first time in a clothes store. I was looking for an outfit and then accidentally bought a 350k alien suit. It totally diminished my overall excitement of the game. But thanks to your rags to riches series I got my money back in a few days.

I love those medium to low end houses cause it feels real at that point for most of us. I love that aspect of the game. Driving a regular car have a regular apartment and go work at the arcade lmao so much fun to get immersed in the game

The penthouse office upgrade gives you a safe and a gunsafe, so if you don't have a gunsafe it's worth it.

I used to have an account on xbox and I switched to ps5 and made a new gta account and rockstar now gives a choice of 4 things, you can be a ceo, nightclub owner, guns runner and something else, then they give you 4,000,000 starting money and list of guns, apartments, cars etc to get you started and you can't start the game until you've spent areas 3m out of the 4m starting money.

To be fair tho sometimes the cheap houses are a good spawn if you want to spawn at say near your arcade without having to spend a good bit more for a spawn point inside the arcade

I once spent 2 million on clothes in one go, wasn't looking at my balance just buying. At the end of the shopping spree didn't even have over 300 dollars. . . . Worth it

I have a pretty good counter-argument to the "useless properties." As a new player, and a grinder, those properties can be super valuable when you have them located near businesses. It's not about the "use" that the property has for heists - it's valuable as a spawn point (I always change my spawn point to the nearest business I'm going to deliver for next), and it's also valuable as a hide out from griefers. Since the latest update allows for 8 properties, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be buying four more low end spots, strategically located, before the week is up. And, for the money, those properties under 100k pay for themselves after just a few griefer dodges or 10 minutes of driving saved. My 2 car garage next to my Counterfeit money factory is worth ten times what I paid for it.

me and my friend were doing heists for like a week saving up money to upgrade our businesses and stuff and he bought a YACHT I've never been so disappointed

The only time I use my Orbital Cannon is when my crew is having a tough time with sell missions because dude's are chasing them in a 4 door. So I'll blow up their 4 door then head their way with my oppressor mk 2 to make sure I'm the target of their rage.

It's literally cheaper to buy the apartment across the street from Maze Bank West than it is to install living quarters. The apartment also gives you access to the heists.

I own a tug boat because you used to be able to destroy them, they would keep floating and you could use the up-anatomizer to shoot the ship and other people paat the death barrier. It worked for abt a week or two then stopped working 😂

One thing that hurts right in my heart is that i was doing a prep mission for the casino heist and it was getting the PEM and some random dude destroyed the cargo bob i had to use to do the mission i had like 4 million and nothing was happening so i bought a cargo bob on the spot and i kept doing the mission and the moment i get the PEM i see that the cargo bob that got destroyed respawned after like 10 mins

if you miss with the orbital cannon u get the money back and a new shot. thats why it is so affective against godmode players, not letting them get in any car or anything at all

This video saved me from buying the orbital cannon I thought it would be a really good overpowered way to get revenge on people who kill you not knowing that you had to pay for each shot thanks for saving my wallet

The orbital canon is an anti-godmonde griefers tool. As soon as you doing kill anyone else by accident, you get free automatic shots everytime ecause you "miss" everytime

8:30 While I mostly agree with the fact that lower end apartments and houses are trash, they do serve one big purpose in almost every lobby. They create a safe place for you to run to if you are being attacked or if you just want to sit for a second and relax while you irl get something to eat or anything like that. Having the ability to drive into a garage and "hide" for a few minutes no matter what part of the map you're on is the only real benefit of lower end properties imho.

Last time i bought a shark card was back before the original heist update and they were so much cheaper back then and it was much harder to make decent money back then in like 2013/2014.

The dingy is very very useful. I have been stuck in the ocean a few times due to my heli going down. Dingy spawns right next to you when in a ceo. This is actually quite useful at time. As for all the other boats... no purpose.

I totally get the house thing, but I also just got mine for a spawn point.

I use the orb to see rc cars on the map, not worth it but a cool thing you can use it for if you own one

Everyone wants to be that one guy who buys all these things just to flex. Maxed out yacht, high roller penthouse, all that stuff.

I buy low end houses with garages in all parts of the map because of the orbital cannon. Having a place to duck in from a griefer is handy. Own 1 high end for heists, but even my businesses are strategically placed. There's literally no part of the map I don't own something.
