Nike has such a shockingly bad quality recently. Their “synthetic leather” (on the overbreak for example) is worse than the one on reeboks, except for Reebok asking for half the price. So many butchered shoes in 2021.

I agree, I think it shows that Adidas is willing to go the extra mile on collabs. Where Nike just knockout a new colorway and hype it to infinite with PR/influencers/youtubers. Adidas say let's dial it up to 11 with the design and let it sink or swim in the marketplace. I've been waiting 6 months for the Jordan 1 hype bubble to burst. So much BS about new colors at least 2 or 3 times a week. And the big RU-vidrs take the PR dollars and shill for Nike. At least this channel calls out the BS and doesn't compromise on the viewers

Those Space Jam shoes are solid. I have both the Chuck 70s and the Bugs Bunny Marvin the Martian shoes. I'm dissapointed I wasn't able to get the Wil E Coyote Roadrunner pair.

Gotta give props to the Reed colorway of the KAWS Sacai blazer. Goes with fits way better and the orange laces and tongue look better in person too. I didn’t expect to like them as much as I do, but I do.

I wish they would release some Adidas Forum Lows that are not white at some point. I know that Bad Bunny ones are solid black and there is a brown one. But I am sort of over the Forums that are all white (or sort of sail colored) with red/blue/green highlight on it. Im ready for them to explore further into different color palettes like dunks

I agree with everything but the yeezy knit bsktl. I think it looks awesome and I've heard it is extremely comfortable and is good for basketball. Also the low top blazer sacaii- I own the team reds and I love them alot. But we all have different opinions I suppose.

I agree with most of this list. Only shoe I disagree on is the air jordan 14. I dont own them, and I probably wouldnt wear them. But I do think they are dope. I saw someone wearing them and they looked pretty cool. They just pop. the colors are vibrant. But definitely not a shoe that everyone can pull off.

I liked de CDG foamposites, even thought they are very badly finished. The Nike Craters look like a generic ultraboost 21 version you can get in a flea market! The Swarovski AF1s really looks they have zits all over them ! How come? The J14s pink are made of terrycloth? What for? To dry the athlete’s forehead with their shoes? The blazer sakais look like a elementary school project made with old magazines! Yeezy knitrunners are made for Donald Duck, right? Adidas Common frost (whatever the name they have) are like a kid just put mr potato head’s pieces on dad’s shoes , LOL

Gotta be honest here… the KF collab in hand is kind of great hahaha. It’s ugly for sure, but the fact that it’s so unpretentious and knows exactly what it is makes it very endearing to me. While a handful of Yeezys this year were trying to be innovative and just falling short of expectations, the KF collabs are just fun and weird and not full of themselves at all. Plus the quality of materials is pretty fantastic. For sure understand the placement here, but for me it’s kind of under appreciated for what it is. The man is goofy and he’s making goofy shit with no pretension and it’s hard not to respect that.
I also definitely feel like this would be a more interesting list if you had actually had the shoes in hand. While your opinion might not have changed, but would just make a lot more sense.
I understand your perspective but to me I think it's kind of a mockery. The respect for making goofy stuff goes out the window when he's charging 250$. At least Kanye and other designers take risks to create something new
The sacai Blazers are some of the worst shoes ever. The first pairs especially, the green and the orange one like damn wtf. You know its bad when triple collaborations are sitting in outlets. They should just finally lose this whcky silloutte, its uncomfortable and impracticle.
Miss me with that Kerwin Frost junk. There is no way he made that to actually be worn. A completely acute sliver of style that only a few people could even pull off with a price to match. Adidas got railroaded. I'm tired of people saying ugly shoes are relevant because they are innovative/take chances. How about making good shoes?
