GBA lead zeta is solid, for the things it makes sense to attack with it. First order, Rogue One, etc are all spamming buffs no matyer how many times you dispel them. Also remember that it's not 10% if the enemy has a buff. It's 10% per enemy with a buff. So you're wailing away on Sith Trooper and getting 40% offense boost while the rest sit there, still with advantage.
Will say that the GBA zeta is actually a small clause that can screw you over with the Jawa counter. It incentivizes you to NOT risk the Geonosians having +50% offense if they blitz down scavenger. It was a thorn in my side when Jawas were the go-to counter until I figured out that clause
I agree with this list, however the Dengar zeta, I used my geos to counter bounty hunters dozens of times however I actually timed out against Dengar before a very tanky well modded dengar which I wasn't expecting! Around 2 minutes of auto attack just on him and he lived 😂 99% of players don't have him modded great though
I disagree with the gba zeta. While it's more luxury than necessity, you can't forget that when the brute counters sun fac isn't assisting to dispel, and for raw basic dmg the brute I far and away the heaviest hitter on the team and really carries in geo tb during multiple waves of enemies. I think there are plenty of worse zetas tha truly don't add anything to your roster
I made the mistake of applying the GMYoda lead zeta coming back into the game thinking it was a new “reworked” unique. Oh boy when I realized it was the lead…
I've got half of this lol, rip. I like Maul for Galactic Challenges or Conquest (stealth feats); I sometimes get value from Magna (at the time had nothing else to zeta), Krasantan was a legit mistake haha, had no idea about Jabba doing the same thing, but maybe I'll get the omni; Dengar can help with banners I guess lol, GBA's helps with damage against heavy buff teams when you're focusing a target.
I’ve actually been considering putting the zeta on Gideon’s lead, but that depends if the Beskar Gideon is a leader or not. It looks like Scout Trooper makes that trooper team pretty awesome with Gideon lead, so maybe?
That GBA leadership zeta was the first time I ever experienced reading a kit and thinking it was totally not worth applying. Understanding the kits is so important.
Mara Jade Zeta that gives turnmeter to Emperor Palpatine is bad. Sometimes, in very rare situations, it will allow him to get a turn earlier. But in 99%+ situations, he will get a turn after assisting to Mara's basic, because her Zeta gives him only a little, but he gains a lot of turnmeter from his own basic if enemies are shocked. I believe it's possible to make a little difference between Mara and Palpatine to allow her Zeta work, but it's much better to make Mara as fast as possible.
Had to take Gamo to R8 for TB so figured what the hell, let’s zeta. I don’t have embo yet so I put in Gamo + Boba and benched skiff. With 15% health/protection cron it helped me go 3/3 in K2 last gac. But I’ll probably sit him again when that set expires
The Gideon leadership zeta does wonders with Scout Trooper, which is now one of the best teams in the game. Krrsantan is also useful under Embo, considering JTH is not exactly a character you'd earn over night to get a top HC team.
Yeah but if you have Krr it's almost guaranteed it's because you're getting jabba. Not really sure where this info about scout is coming from, it's a brand new character with very limited testing
Haha! I have Krrs's zeta. Thanks for making me feel bad! I stayed away from Magna and Jimmy's zetas. Apply it to Jimmy when he gets a ship. Also, was Magna a pilot in Star Wars at some point?
B1 and tactical droids are the only ones who make sense in a ship requirement way because they operate the bridge (besides trench ofc), magnas just stay there as bodyguards Magna may be a crew member if we get dookus ship, but that is just speculation
It's funny for me, though I couldn't get through Padme and I accidentally applied that Zaida. And that team got me her unlocked and a six star. That was my first accidental Zaida, and my last
Damnit. I just dropped L3s zeta like 2 says ago. I figured it'd be like an extra wall of revives to back up 50rt's spare parts. That sucks. I didn't know it worked that way.
I got the Maul lead for quality of life with various conquest nonsense. I don’t think I regret it. I still use it when “gain stealth ninetyeffingtimes” shows up.
Hey, I use Maul’s lead in galactic challenges to get stealth feats done! So yeah, 🤓 It is sad, I remember when his zeta lead first came out and his lead was meta.
As someone who does not have Krrsantan or Leia, Krrsantan's zeta may be slightly less useless now that the Jabba vs Leia matchup is a thing. Presumably from the wording, Leia should stop Jabba's cooldown reset, but from the matchups I've seen the Dismember zeta clause doesn't fall under that
That's a hard question, I feel. Functionally, I think it would be the same as 'starting on cooldown' counting as cooldown manipulation But not really a precedent for it, and CG may also just CG and not want Drogan getting dismembered (Side note: great video, there were some zetas here I was considering)
@@CalvinAwesome Ah, thanks for clarifying! I'm super stoked to unlock Gideon 2 Electric Boogaloo, have most of my remnants up and ready. I'm gonna guess he'll have a multi hit attack to synergize with DT's deathmark. Hopefully
Darth mauls lead probably isn't worth it, but it has helped me jank stealths in conquest and galactic challenges, so I feel like iv at least got something from it lol
Darth Maul's lead was decent during the evasion datacron meta since you would pair him with leftover Sith (Savage, Sidious, Marauder, especially Assassin) and he would be impossible to hit.
Zetas used to be like Omnicrons where the Zeta would uplift the character to new heights. Now they are relatively common materials and every character needs one or more.
Darth maul lead is very under rated. Not only for those stealth feats but also in certain scenarios having the initial 25% tm boost to allow an ally sith to outrun a fast squad out the gate.
@@mofftucker9658my dr is 345 speed so he doesn't really struggle with outrunning other non-gl chars, especially with malgus. but the tm boost at the beginning is still pretty good.
The only one i don’t agree on is moff Gideon lead, moff Gideon lead with full imperial remnants team is arguably the best imperial trooper lineup right now thanks to scout trooper. They have confirmed new moff Gideon will be a conquest unit which means at best, if you’re maxing out hard mode conquest chests (which most players just aren’t doing right now) you’ll unlock the character in 6 months that’s not including g13 farming or zetas assuming you didn’t just have all required zetas on hand upon unlock (zeta farming isn’t that bad but it is extra time/resources and the point of this video). At worst if you’re a player who hasn’t even cleared normal you’re likely to not get new Gideon for 33 proving grounds once it’s available assuming your 4 mil gp and able to clear it day one if a zeta improves a character i consider usable for a team that can get some clutch wins like current imperial remnant line up that i would have to wait over a year to have a better alternative? Personally i can’t say that zeta is bad and with death trooper as well as dark trooper being both attackers, scout being low gear low star usable support and 1 tank in regular stormtrooper the team is seemingly built around his zeta Most people utilizing imperial troopers will likely already have moff Gideon invested in idk if waiting for 33 proving grounds will be the move to make imperial remnants useable for the average non-max hard chest player i hope i worded that as well as i could without over complicating things. But with this making imperial remnants a threat today rather than waiting for a character that could take 1-2 years to get that hasn’t even come out yet idk if that’s logic i can get down with
Maxing out hard conquest is only 3 months farm for BAG. which at that point you'd have to accelerate scout to have her ready. What is current gid with scout beating? I guess in a world where it takes you years to get conquest characters that might be worth looking into???
@@CalvinAwesome to be fair Ahnald did the leg work/testing but at 3 star scout trooper with Gideon lead beats Zori, Tuskens, captain rex for sure without omicron possible but more difficult with rex omicron, admiral Raddus, CLS but a lot of teams beat CLS right now unfortunately, maul-dalorian team, The ones that are surprising and possibly worth the zeta would be tuskens and maul-dolorians Gen veers lead struggles against those but the extra tankiness and revive with less turn meter gains allows gideon lead to shine against the turn meter counter (tuskens) as well as the taunt swapping (maul lead) which gen veers struggles against Ah my conquest math may be off and thanks for the heads up but i struggle to max normal difficulty personally my roster just can’t handle certain comps in conquest not to mention the requirement of some built up new units for some of the feats which just isn’t feasible for me unless i drop current projects so hard mode while possible I’m not getting as far as I’d like to. So getting conquests units is a long. For proving grounds i beat all but the malgus tier my first time but even with clearing them each time they come around i still don’t have one fully unlocked. To be fair i wasn’t able to complete normal difficulty conquest until a few months ago. However unlocking SEE was faster for me than these conquest units. (To be fair i had quite a few requirements for See built up by coincidence/unknowingly in building up thrawn and piett for the capital ships etc,)
If you are looking to form teams for territory wars for example, put Sabine and Capt. Rex into Phoenix, even though it isn't the best line up and pull the Jedi out, then suddenly that useless zeta on GMY has a use again
@@CalvinAwesome , no disputing that, but I would try Mace and Old Ben with them for a Jedi only team, since I see them as basically homeless otherwise. Also, the idea of putting Kit Fisto and Ahsoka Tano Fulcrum with GMY, Ezra and Kanan, on a team that doesn't need the Jedi tag is intriguing to me, since Yoda and Kit can provide Ahsoka with buffs for her whirlwind, while Ezra and GMY help out with the attack and Kanan taunts.
Glad that out of these 10 in only gave the Zeta to Grandmaster Yoda... because he was one of my first strong Jedi and I didn't know what I was doing. 😂 It's been 2 years since I never used him as a lead.
Nice. I habe none of those omegas on. I also never put on 5555's taunting omega. Thinking he doesnt want to be taunting, so its harder to kill him first.
At the end he is a tank and can take loads of hits while shaak ti heals him and echo assists for the big damage Rex or Echo often die from enemy aoe or when the enemy buff dispells for a turn and focuses on them The Fives taunt is actually pretty strong because he gets more defense from it while Echos damage get buffed extremely
Is that how you describe Dismember zeta correct? Reset cooldowns and No longer starts on cooldown are two different things - so do you have this actually confirmed from someone who does not have that zeta?
I have put zeta on boskk and cls now, who i should put it next? I am going for c3p0 event so... Ewok chippra leader is worth zeta?.... What should I do
Doesn't the Moff Gideon lead now work in 3v3? I thought after that buff, it would be worth it. I gave him the lead Zeta right before Beskar Gideon was announced. . .
Counter point for Gideon, I am 90% sure that for the next conquest set, there are going to be feats for imperial remnant, and I could see that lead being required. So sure, his lead will be pushed out...if you have it, or a number of months down the road if you don't get him in conquest on time. Likewise, Darth Maul is good for stealth feats in conquest. And conquest is still a top 3 most important game mode. Alternatively, I think there are others that should be added, such as the wonderful amazing Gar Saxon, who is a bad character with a bad zeta, Jyn lead which has never been good.
I think the best example of the 'magna falacy' you described (that i think a lot of people would disagree with me about) is JKLs unique to gain 20 speed max throughout the battle. It sounds good at first because speed is always great, but if you think about it, how much is it really going to change? Likely nothing
Yeah fair point but even under JKL lead, just using a basic from Hoda generates 5% turn meter which does the same job. I guess under a Jedi like lead team without any supporting Jedi that generate turn meter it could do something, but that's the limit
I agree magnas zeta is not as good as it seems, but at the same time, I’ve gotten so much mileage out of it stun locking opponents in 3v3s, so I’d say I’ve gotten my mileage out of it
Nothing much, just on a sep team against b teams. But I can remember on multiple occasions that some of his stuns prevented banner stealing or my Allies from dying
@@Darth_Jahat this point just play dooku instead of magna lol (Under gunray lead with the speed down he also gets to stun the enemy team, that is quite fun ^^) (But don't you only want to do the aoe on magna for the giant speed buff under grievous lead?)
I put a zeta on Bodhi many many years ago when I was trying to put together a nuke team centred around Han... what is frustrating is that every garbage character from R1 found a place in the game, except for him :(
