First video of your's that I've seen. Cool stuff dude. Managed to grab myself a mid-grade copy of X-Men #9 two weeks ago and I paid a little more than I should have on it, but I'm keeping it for the long haul, so I didn't mind.

Fantastic themed video! Great idea and it gives me a direction for which comics I might send off to CGC. I have all of the books mentioned with the exception of GSX 1.

Great list Ryan! I like your perspective of the sentinels being the 2nd most important villain next to magneto. I would love to upgrade my copy of X-men 9. Now might be a good time. 👍🤙

Excellent video. I was thinking of making a bunch of these kinds of videos for the various popular comic lines. X-men seem to be where the big money has been flowing. In one year you could basically doubled your money by picking up all of these mentioned.

Great recommendations!! I do have an X-Men 12 from my childhood collecting days - unfortunately an ad page is ripped out, but the story is complete. I just got it back with my first CGC submission - 7.0 green label, not bad!

A 9.8 Newsstand of X-Men 129 just sold on ComicLink for $13,250. That is an insane price jump for that book. It now blows past a lot of the other keys in that Claremont run to perhaps settle in as the next most valuable to #94 (and, of course, GSX1).

Really great video Ryan, thanks for all your hard work and stats! IMO only a matter of time before the savage land & Ka-Zar appear in an X-Men movie so #10 is a top pick. Bonus issue: X-Men #60-first Sauron 😛

Wow I love your video. I have left my comments a few times I am Bob in Connecticut I was a bartender I told you I gave up working years ago because of comic books. Well most people cannot afford any of the vintage key books with today’s market. I got my books when I was still working. The only modern age comic books I would definitely speculate on is ultimate fallout 49.8 yes that goes for $3000 right now Batman adventures 12 nine.8 first appearance of Harley Quinn that’s totally on fire I just sold for more than $4500 on May 2 on eBay. Much more than the first appearance of miles morales. Do you want something not that expensive you would have to buy the first appearance of spider Gwen edge of spider verse 29.8 I think I mentioned I have the Batman adventures 12 9.8 signature series signed by Bruce Tim the creator there are only 39 copies.Going back to the X-Men I just paid $400 for the first appearance of kitty Pryde and Emma Frost last year X-Men 129 9.6 I got that for only $400 now that’s a $2000 book on eBay. X-Men 1019.4 I bought that last year for $900 of course that’s $2000. But I know I told you last time I got my X-Men 1 years ago not graded in New York City for only $300 that came back 7.0. X-Men 15.0 just sold on eBay for more than $28,000 so I guess my 7.0 is over $50,000 and my friend offered me $23,000 cash obviously I told him to shove it🙄🙄🙄

x-men books have been so under valued for years it's good that the market is catching on now. just sucks I couldn't finish before the prices went up. I am just glad I bought all the keys first years ago. I have noticed even the non keys going up 100% in the grades I have been looking for as well.

I love my X-Men, I think I have mentioned I have the entire UXM run (including variants) except about 12 books, so looking forward to finishing the run off. I agree with your top 10 (ish) though I would suggest their are other sub 50 books that could feature, like 35 with Spider-Man or issue 49. That said, Days of Future Past was and is one of the best stories ever, though low on your list as it does not have a 1st appearance (buying trend at hte moment). I think you mention in another comment UXM 1 -50 like FF 1- 50 and ASM 1 - 50 not a that many weak books amoungst them.

Both of gambit appearance are important.

You know I have to correct you on the Gambit appearance, right? His first FULL appearance (not cameo) is X-Men ann. 14, which appeared a full six months before X-men 266.

Wow I am looking at your 9.4 X-Men 101 it’s hard to get a good deal with today’s rising market. I should have bought a 9.6 but that’s OK I’m happy with the 9.4 I don’t have any money anymore and I really don’t want to sell my big big books . Because I kept my superman and Batman 15.0 they are both restored the superman has no trimming who knows what the hell that is worth but I paid $12,500 for that there are only 162 copies and I don’t think I’m ever going to sell both of my copies of amazing fantasy 15 and I’m never going to sell my X-Men 17.0 that will be $100,000 book in about two years. right now it’s only worth $50,000 plus.🙄🙄🙄

Well you are going to have a great retirement looking at what you have I gave up working because my last girlfriend made movies and she did a soap opera she passed away so I gave up the restaurant business the only thing I do now is go to Yankee Stadium. When I need spending money I have to sell a comic book I live on my comic books.😧😧😧😧😧
