You guys voted, and it's finally here! Remember: With 64 extra retro tracks in the mix, it's a real achievement for a track to get into the top 100 (out a total of 216 tracks). Don't be mad if the placement is not what you had hoped for.
Footage: All footage was recorded by me, except for the Mario Kart 8 ones. Those I used from GamerJGB'. Check out his awesome channel here:

I really loved the video, especially the top 10. I see that rainbow roads are so high and many people miss MK Wii. Although Daisy Circuit is low, MK Wii Star Cup is so good.

MK7's Rainbow Road is definitely my favorite. Even though it's on a hand-held, it has a lot of features that others don't really have. First of all, you can drive on Saturn's rings. How cool is that?! Secondly, you can drive on the moon, which is the best part in my opinion. Thridly, you can drive in a rotating cylinder near the end where you can either get a boost or glide. Lastly, there are some moons that you can drive around on rainbow track. Overall, this Rainbow Road actually feels like a Rainbow Road. Thought you'd like to hear my opinion ;) Keep up the great work! Love your channel!

I was waiting for the top 10 I sat there screaming 3DS Rainbow Road and Maple Treeway and the music choice blew me away, made the moment so much more intense, so much more dramatic and was exactly what was needed to build up the hype. The music in the Top 10 was really amazing; an epic orchestra. We probably have the same taste in music genre. On top of that, I'm surprised at #1. It's not really deserving of #1 in my opinion, but if everyone's alright with it, the same goes for me. Good video.

I feel like this gives an unfair disadvantage to some beloved tracks that also have great remakes. Take Tick-Tock Clock for example. The DS version and the 8 version are both great, so voters will be split on which one, keeping it out of the top 10. I think that both OG and retro tracks should be counted together than the version with the most votes is put on the list.

There is a blue-shelled Koopa in New Super Mario Bros (DS). In order to find it you play the 2-player Mario vs. Luigi mode, and choose the snow world stage. Once there, go to the right. Jump on the first platform with the bullet bill launcher. Then leap to the next platform off that launcher. Congrats! You've found the blue shelled Kopa Troopa. If you jump on it normally, it gives you the blue Shell power-up (if you run you go into shell mode and slide all over the place, causing damage to the other player). If you ground pound it, it gives you nothing. Each time a star is collected in that stage, the Blue-shelled Koopa comes back. No amount of flashy graphics and bright colors can beat the true masterpiece that is Maple Treeway. In a sense it’s simplicity is what’s carried it to number one.
