The sawing scene in Terrifier 1 should have been on this list. Actually, most deaths in the terrifier movies should be in the top 100

The Terrifier scene beats ANYTHING I've EVER seen, and I've seen just about everything! You think it's over about three times, but NO! This scene won goreiest scene in a movie by Fangoria the year it came out. I definitely think it beats Aliens chest bursting scene, even though that was amazing for its time.

My favourite over the top death is the Vampire from the original Buffy movie, who just WOULD NOT die after being staked, no matter how long it took him.

You can tell with the deaths from Disney/Pixar movies that back in the day Disney wasn’t afraid of scaring children

Definitely get why Allie’s Death in Terrifier 2 was #2 because geez! I haven’t seen the Terrifier movies because I mostly don’t have the stomach for it but I’ve seen blurred out clips of it but the kills in those movies creative yes but awful to envision and see. And there’s a 3rd Terrifier to come and I’m kinda excited and scared to find out what they come up with.

Okay before I watch: what’s the over / under for how many saw traps make the list? I’d like to know what year range of movies this includes lol. Pre 80s and 90s horror deaths were ridiculous so if it’s an all encompassing list maybe not much saw, but if this is all movies from the 2000s, there could be at least 5-10 saw traps on here if not more…

Wow, I rarely ever am disappointed when you miss one that absolutely needed to be on one of these lists. Antonowsky from Robocop... Falling into toxic waste and getting obliterated by the vehicle as he's literally melting... Unless I somehow missed it, I figured it'd be in the top 5. And not to mention Anna from Silent Hill who literally has her skin ripped off in one move by Pyramid Head, that was epic.

Very good list overall but I do feel Kane won by being more iconic rather than over the top. Allie from Terrifier 2, the girl from Martyrs, Amy from Megan is Missing, Jesus... Kane's death was over in probably 15 seconds. I guess a prolonged death isn't required to be over the top, but, I dunno... it seems to help in my book.

Terrifier 2 was such an amazing watch. Very excited for the Christmas movie this year!

22:32 -- I do wish people would get their collected heads out of their equally collected asses about Superman killing Zod. In a court of law, that's justifiable homicide. Meaning Superman's actions were justified. Plus this is Superman. He didn't have a choice because what else was there to do? And that ear shattering scream at the end there? It wasn't triumphant, it was anguish. There's also the question of how much time and crayons are needed to point out Zod had the same powers as Superman, and he was military trained. And are people incapable of counting? Superman's kill count: 1 Zod's kill count: thousands "You forgot about those embryos." You mean the ones that aren't alive without the Codex? Did anyone even watch the movie? Try watching it WITHOUT smoking pot.

It almost feels like there should be a separate list for over the top deaths in kids' movies. Still, this was a fun video.

Originally it was going to be Tim Curry playing that character in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. However he was deemed to be "too scary." Considering Christopher Lloyd's disturbing performance, I'd love to see what Curry did.

What made the chest burster scene such a hardcore awesome scene was that absolutely NO ONE knew what was happening or going to happen outside of Cameron & the other directors, & John Hurt. Alien & Aliens are absolute masterpieces.

When this list was being polled, how was "Over The Top" defined? There is literally a simple beheading miles ahead of a slow and total ripping apart and de-limbing of a human being. Also, your number 11 isn't a death. She survives and is mercy killed 2 hours of film time later.

I gotta say Del’s execution in The Green Mile probably should have been on the list.

Final Destination 5 is probably my fav out of this Franchise!

9:34 i love how she doesn't even need to say anything, for those who don't know, its basically the most overdramatic and longest death scenes ever, its hilarious 😂

Honestly unless the movie is trying to appeal to that "unfairness of the universe" kinda anxiety, that kill spectacle should strictly correspond to the relative assholeishness of the character. With that in mind, whoever wrote Zara's death definitely was grinding an axe over some "whipped" buddy of his who probably didn't want a bachelor party but got permission from the fiancé to say she was vetoing it to not hurt his friends feelings. Because that's literally the only "transgression" Zara commits in the entire film of any significance aside from not enjoying being stuck with babysitter duty, which TBF the movie was WEIRDLY aggro about considering how much of the plot was dedicated to speed heels being the biggest monster on the island for not wanting kids.

William Afton from FNAF should also be on here. Being imp-ailed and crushed within a costume character suit is so gruesome, even though William Afton kind-of deserved it.

I think you should do a part 2 of this video, I missed the scene from X-men when Magneto put a coin through Shaw's head. The scene with Professor X feeling the pain while Shaw was frozen by him is crazy good.

It's worth mentioning that the Way of the Cross was based on Anne Catherine Emmerich vision on what happened to Jesus in order to atone for the sins of the human race
