Man, you’ve visited more great places on this planet at a young age than 99.9% of the population does in a lifetime. Impressive. Great video work too. Love your work, bro!
I’ve probably watched this video 7 times in the past week. Such a beautiful world we live on! Thank you for sparking my love for travel again. I’ve been stagnant for a couple years and am motivated more than ever now to get back to exploring. Thank you for sharing your art ❤️
@@RyanShirley no way to answer this. I noticed you said "one of my fav places" or sth along those lines a lot of times throughout this video - and I don't blame you - because how on earth can you choose? Same way why this question is impossible to answer. Sad you skipped Slovenia by the way, but I'm biased ;)
Ryan, this is my favorite video on RU-vid. Trust me I’ve been on RU-vid for over 10 years. Your videos make me want to live. This legacy of yours will live forever. Thank you for making the most beautiful inspiring videos.
I cannot comprehend how you do it Ryan. The amount of time and effort that goes into these videos must be insane, thank you endlessly for what you do! Hoping to go to Iceland and The Faroe Islands this year!
Seeing this made me realize that no matter where you go, there's a place even more beautiful somewhere else. These places are normally never seen by 99% of the population, and to be able to sit at home and watch this in 4k ist Just incredible. Thank you for all the effort you put into this
You good sir, are an inspiration. You’ve visited all these countries and seen all the beauty they have to offer and showcase it in an excellent cinematic way. Not only are you helping educate us wannabe world travelers, you’re also helping these countries by showing their beauty and enticing people to visit. Bravo to you!
@@RyanShirley You're so welcome! Madagascar is definitely high on my list. Another country, which isn't mentioned here, is Uzbekistan. It's amazingly developed, affordable, and has one of the richest histories in Central Asia (in my opinion)
@@RyanShirley Please don't lie. You haven't visit these countries, maybe some but, well that's it... Many videos are official tourists videos. Some remarks: Easter Island, there were people long before the polynesians got there Peru is so much more than Macchu Phiccu. By the way, the Incas never built any megalitic constructions at all. They told the Spaniards, that they found all sites, incl Macchu Phiccu. Egypt, the pyramids on the Giza plateau are impressive, but there are other megalitic constructions all over Egypt as impressive, such as Osiris shaft, Ramses granite statues, Karnak, Abu Simbel, the Valley of the Kings, the Sphinx etc etc I agree that Hawaii is a paradise. I really love those islands. And I would have included on that list NYC, it's one of my favorite cities. A very interested country is China. Really old culture. The Great wall is amazing! Other countries in Europe I have found interesting, are Vatican, Andorra and Lichtenstein. Small ones, but still nice. And best city in Europe is Rome! Iraq has an incredibly long history, I think of the Sumerians. Many places worth visiting. And Baalbeck in Lebanon for ex. So many places still left to explore, even I have been travelling my hole life...
Martinique is such an underrated Caribbean island! Went there last Easter: the people are so lovely, the food is such a lovely and delicious blend of cultures and the beaches are stunning too.
I sailed around Komodo in 2022 and you're right for wanting to experience that! Not even being hyperbolic when I say the three days I spent sailing around Komodo were the best 3 days of my life. I flew out to Flores from Bali and got a hotel room in Labuan Bajo, which itself is surrounded by stunning beauty. Then hopped on a Phinisi boat for the weekend. Saw the giant fruit bat daily migration, watched the sun rise over Padar, partied on a tiny sandbar of an island called Takamakasar, saw Komodo dragons in the wild, and much more. It was $500 for the weekend, but only because I chose the honeymoon suite for the private bathroom. It's $250 otherwise. I've been to some amazing places around the world, but that leg of my Indonesian trip was life-altering and awe-inspiring.
Thank you for rescuing my dull evening with this amazing video! I was looking for an escape, and got treated to an amazing world tour... From a lazy chair😊For those of us too old to travel with such energy anymore, you are a inspiration!
Amazing list! Spot on with Tanzania, I got to experience Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, and Zanzibar during my trip there, and it was truly one of the best trips of my life
You, sir, are truly inspirational. Your extensive travels to all these countries, and the remarkable cinematic presentation of their beauty, serve as a source of motivation. Not only are you imparting knowledge to us aspiring world travelers, but you are also contributing to these nations by highlighting their magnificence and encouraging people to explore. Kudos to you!
I don't know what can be better than traveling and exploring the beauty of this world! Traveling is really worth a lot of money, cuz feelings and memories that u get from it , stay forever! it's such a BLISS :) It's my dream to visit as many places as possible! Your videos are otherworldly!!! Every place is unbelievably beautiful!!
Wow, this is such a comprehensive and inspiring travel guide! It's great to see so many amazing places from all around the world, and the beautiful visuals and useful information make me want to start planning my next adventure right away. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, what an epic list of all the beautiful places in the world! I've traveled to 43 countries, but only covered less than 1/3 of your list, your video made me long for the rest, which is a long list to check off. You certainly have lived your life to the fullest! Thank you for making this fantastic video and sharing your amazing experiences!
One place in Australia I would suggest: the Blue Mountains. Accessible by commuter train from central Sydney, the area around Katoomba is breathtaking with the Three Sisters rock formation and cliffs hundreds of metres high. Another place, which I've been to - Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains, Romania - amazing. The historic city of Sibiu was a gem :)
Tasmania and WA. Both almost entirely ignored by foreign tourists. Likewise the Dividing Ranges from Victoria to NSW. These videos very much came across as a 'List Ticker',not an Explorer at all. Get off the tick list track. Soooo much more interesting!
My entire family loves watching your videos. It always prompts my kids to ask questions like “How does he know where to put his cameras?”, “What kind of habitats do the animal live in?”, “What do they eat?”. Have you considered making videos of the process you go through to identify potential hot spots?
Ah that made my day to hear! I need to do more animal videos. I should make a video about my video making process. Is there any place your family would like me to make a video on?
It's incredible how much beauty and diversity there is on our planet, and this guide perfectly captures that. Definitely adding some of these places to my travel list, thanks for the amazing recommendations!
@@RyanShirley Honestly, would probably want to visit Japan if I got the chance. I know it might seem kinda generic but I love everything I see and hear about it. 😄 Thanks for asking and great video btw!
I loved watching this video! Your footage is so gorgeous! My favorite places that I visited in the world are Alaska, Hawaii, Switzerland, Iceland, the Canadian Rockies, and Zhangjiajie in China. Really hope to explore more of this beautiful world in the future! Thanks for the great video Ryan!
@@RyanShirley I really want to go down under to Australia and New Zealand someday. I heard that both are incredibly beautiful and are full of unique wildlife!
What an amazing video! I was happy that finland made your list, really cool to hear what people think about our land from other countries. I got to see what an amazing places there are on this earth will definitely pick a place to travel to from this list so many cool destinations! I love your energy thank you for this video absolutely made my day!
havent even started the video and I can already tell this is gonna be incredible. The cinematography is out of this world and these videos just give me a taste of what it would be like to go to some of these palces. Thank youy for sharing your creativity ryan
Ryan, you inspire me to explore more of this world. I've always loved your documentaries and sharing knowledge of your journeys. Thank you so much! Love and respect from Romania 🇷🇴
You are good hard work sir. All the places in the world have been returned and shown in a very nice video. The places you visited are very good. You have seen so many places, your birth is blessed sir... Super sir
Wow! Last year you focused on Europe so much that I forgot how many places you've been. It's pretty amazing. I like your focus on active travelling rather than just sitting at a resort or going on about hotels and restaurants which many travel vlogs do. At this point I think it would be a good idea for you to do a segment about travelling itself: getting from here to there, dealing with languages, customs, packing, etc. - all the nuts and bolts of travel. Plus you could give tips like checking government websites about the current political situation os destinations that can sometimes be troubled, or avoiding the enormous crowds at the more popular destinations by going off season, and noting that many of them are always photographed before the crowds arrive. Or note that it's not always the sunny day in many places that touring photos and blogs make it seem.
Thanks so much John! This year I want to focus more on places like Africa and South America. That’s a great idea regarding making videos on “how to travel”, I need to start thinking of some ideas for a series like that! Always appreciate your thoughts and comments.
Wait ! A minute you getting too too far on your comment He doesn’t have to get into Government and Political This isn’t what his videos are all about He isn’t the PRINCE of bum F somewhere! You got a lot a nerve pal! And to Ryan you seem so sweet and passionate with a heart of gold! Like none of these uncalled for comments from those don’t affect you❤ You always answer replies with kindness and you make it better for a question that was to what I believe is inappropriate to help others
As someone who is only 17 and already itching to explore the world, this really makes me even more excited and determined to have the means to be able to travel to these incredible places. I'm off to Costa Rica next week to do some conservation work and go explore the country with some of my classmates and I know that will really give me the travel bug. Any advice for someone who is young who wants to travel as much as possible?
That’s awesome Declan! Costa Rica will be life changing! I’d say just save up money and travel when you can, and i recommend documenting your travels by filming them and make RU-vid videos from it
Be prepared to accept that you will be rich in experiences but not wealth. I've been all over this amazing world and am now in my 60s. Friends my age have wealth aplenty for their retirement whilst I'm busy saving for my next trip hee hee. I might regret it at 80 😂
Travel.. Buy a cheap campervan when you get to Europe to save a fortune on accommodation. We parked for free in a lot of places in Europe and Britain. Also there are places you can work for accommodation
Wow, this travel guide has given me some serious wanderlust for Brazil! 🌴🌊🌺 I've always dreamed of visiting Rio de Janeiro 🏖️🏰 and now I have even more places to add to my list. The natural beauty of Iguazu Falls 🌈 and the Amazon rainforest 🌿🦜 seem breathtaking, and I can't wait to try some authentic Brazilian cuisine 🍴 in Salvador. Thank you for such a comprehensive and inspiring list! 👍👏"
Amazing video! I just came back from a 1 month trip to Ladakh and Kashmir a few weeks ago, and now I see Ladakh featured here. Ladakh is truly amazing, it hosts the most spectacular landscapes I have ever seen, aswell as an amazing culture. Visiting small villages and monasteries was incredible, super kind people living in such a hostile environment. The landscape combined with the unique tibetan architecture and culture makes it feel like a different world. Traveling there is very tiring though, the altitude, coldness and lack of infrastructure and comfort really gets you. After coming home, I didn't leave my home for over a week to rest!
Wishing you the best of luck. Also, if you plan well, you don’t have to be rich to travel. Yes, you have to be financially stable, but not necessarily rich.
Hi Ryan! Great list! Super happy you put my home Bali, Raja Ampat in your video! You have to see komodo live, in komodo island! Jordan, Dubai, Saudi arabia - such a wonderful countries I want to revisit very soon!
@@RyanShirley If you come to Bali, explore the sister island of Bali, Lombok then Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Don't forget to expand your trip to Java island 🇲🇨
@@RyanShirleyyou must go to banggai island in sulawesi with the amazing beach and clearest lake name is paisupok lake, derawan island in kalimantan, belitung beach in sumatera, west sumatera with mentawai island, maluku islands like banda neira, weh island in aceh, toba lake, tana toraja, sumba, bunaken, kei island, wakatobi and many more need one year to explore all Indonesia
Such a great list. Have you visited them all? We were lucky enough to visit most of them and i can say they truly are amazing. BTW maybe Venice should be there as well :)
My dream is to go to every country. My favorite one is Italy. But I love when you explore all around the world. I just have to compliment you on how much effort goes into these videos. By the way you’re my favorite RU-vidr.
Nature admirer at its best. Congrats on sharing and all the effort (although an astonishing result, it must have been difficult journey too). Your work shows how amazing and beautiful our world is, a real wonder. Surely our divine creator is proud 😊
Awesome video. Love how you describe the locations, and put yourself in others’ shoes back in history who stumbled / created these places. Cinematography is on another level too!
@@matts4304 He should just visit the countries he describes in this video, lol. Interesting that you want to travel to Iceland and Finland, not so common choice...
The Amalfi Coast, Greece, Germany, Africa, Vietnam, Russia, Belgium.. so many places I can’t even type them all. I was Director, Meetings, Events and Incentive Trips Internatinal for CITGO PETROLEUM CORPORATION for many years and travelled the world. I also loved Dubai! Gosh, I loved most places!
Awesome job. Your video is amazing. I just feel that Brazil is still unknown to majority of ppl. A country that is almost the size of Europe deserved more mentions. At least places like Angra bay islands, Serras Gerais with its pristine water lakes in the middle of an untouched nature, the islands with white sand beaches in Amazonian rivers and the turquoise water beaches of Arraial do Cabo, very near Rio de Janeiro city are as beautiful or even more beautiful than some places mentioned in the video. It was nice that you included Lençóis Maranhenses though. In Cook Islands, I was wishing to see Aitutaki lagoon.
@@RyanShirley Yes, I'm from Brazil. Even though this video is in Portuguese, the images give an idea about how unexpected is to find sand beaches in Amazonian rivers. It's so much water that it looks like the sea. Obviously the beaches are formed during the dry season: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hn89IFD4ECU.html&ab_channel=Rol%C3%AAFam%C3%ADlia And the region of Jalapao and Serras Gerais, which I believe to be Brazil's most hidden secrets. Brazil is commonly associated with beaches, but the countryside deserves to be visited too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6mhDFhcWeRg.html&ab_channel=SamuelOscar-DRONEDAMONTANHA
@@RyanShirley ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6-nhtVxONGI.html&ab_channel=CasadosnaEstrada Another nice place in Brazil. If you need any support about Portuguese translations with your series of videos about Brazil, let me know. I'm an English teacher. I mean: I teach English to Brazilians.
Brazil is overhyped 😂 Ive visited last year the wildlife is amazing but of you’re talking about beaches & Islands it’s far from French polynesia, Philippines and Indonesia
YES, YOU 🫵🏻 Have the Most BEAUTIFUL\Informative Video’s on RU-vid ( By Farr🤣). Your Videos should be shown in schools! You and Your Wife are informing us! 🤞🏻 Thanks 🙏🏻♥️To EVERYONE involved in making ALL Your 🫵🏻Videos!!!
Ah thanks so much Terese! That means the world. Occasionally I’ll get a comment from students watching my videos for a class, always makes me happy to hear ☺️
it must have been hard to make this video and select the top 100 places, with so many amazing places in this beautiful world. But I can't believe you didn't mention Arraial do Cabo/Rio and the Amazon rainforest in Brazil😅. Come and discover more of our culture, there are many incredible places here. This video is amazing, I loved it.
Isn’t there a lot of vandalism/graffiti on the pyramids? I have a buddy in Egypt and he says it’s disgusting what people do to the pyramids. Also; before visiting the Outback, prepare for flies. So many. More than you can possibly imagine. 😂 Even with a net around your face, they’ll still get on you.
If you really wanna help people, you can explain how you do these things. Because just being born into opportunities must be lovely, but doesn't really inspire confidence
Not sure how the guy in the vid did it but to tell you it can be done if you arent born into money. You learn a valuable skill. Save and invest. Spend responsibly. And when you have the means to afford a vacation, you plan a vacation. That simple.
I would NOT go to countries un friendly to Americans especially Saudi!! Remember what happened to that teacher from Australia that was severely jailed and spend an nightmare of two years before they got her out ! So no thanks !! There should be a caution attached to these countries you are showing !!! Safety comes first !!!
This was a TERRIFIC video. As for suggesting some other places to add to a top 200 video....Washington States' Mount Baker Wilderness, Mount Rainier National Park & North Cascades National Park. British Columbia's Garibaldi Lake/Panorama Ridge, Lake O'Hara in Yoho National Park, Vancouver Island. Alberta's Jasper National Park. Then we have Alaskas Kenai Fjords, Denali National Park, Wrangell St. Elias National Park, Glacier Bay National Park and Katmai National Park. Yukon's Tombstone Territorial Park and Kluane National Park. Montana's Glacier National Park.
Hi Ryan, I went to Italy, Germany Austria in 2015. Ur videos have made me so excited to go back and travel the world thea is so much awesome history and beauty to see. I got so stuck into work life for 7 years i forgot on what im missing out on. (I am 25) In 8 months ill be back in Europe. Thank you you really woke me up and inspired me a lot
