She got skin lightning, makeup improvements, likely brow replacement or lift, definitly fillers in the nose and probably other places, veneers, and the obvious jaw shaving. Because i so not believe weightloss because she remained fairly the same. Her jaw was square, now its the obvious natural-looking v line.
I think it's safe to say both Yunjin and Giselle had their jawlines shaved down a bit. Giselle had buccal fat removal, which is a new popular procedure that slims the cheeks out and makes idols look more mature. Yunjin had a good old fashion skin lightening, jawline shaved and some filler in her cheeks to make her appear more youthful. It's not all weight loss and makeup kids.
Aespa members except ningning prolly had their jaw shaved. Karina's even obvious which makes her look more ai than a real human. Especially when she don't wear makeup, you can tell that there's something odd in her face. Contouring does the job tho to make it seem natural. She's still pretty anyway
Changbin was a def improved look for him. When I first got into stray kids I saw Changbin as he is right now but then I decided to look into past videos of the group and found him looking so different I didn't know it was him. Bang Chan had a similar but less drastic transform physic. So glad the weight difference is from a place of working out, it is a healthy way to help the body and mind.
Yes. Because we know he's eating like there's no tomorrow, it has to be from his workouts. AND he definitely has fun working out. So it's a win win situation 😊

But lemme remind you that korean idols, even celebrities, don't wear too much makeup especially on stage as it would be too much with that lighting and camera angles they use. Even surgeones pointed that out and its pretty common now in korea to shave the chin, slimmer ur face etc. I think there's a vlog of le ssera barefaced where they are doing their makeup, u may watch that if u are still not convince.

All these idols are gorgeous before and after. I just wish we could be more honest about the fact that most of them look so different not because of a “glow up” but because of plastic surgery. It’s just what happens in the industry. Nothings wrong with it.

It's so sad that in order to debut you have to have at least 3 surgeries based on the new generations. Look at aespa, lesserafim (not everyone) , even newjeans . They almost all have their v shape surgery, eyelids and aegyosal, check bones, and additional fillers and implants ......
I'm a fearnot but newjeans I still find them very natural they really have fresh natural teen looks what I can assume is rhinoplasty or eyelid surgery for 1-2 members But aespa every single member has surgery not just one but at least 3 Tho they were pretty before and still is
Fr in Korean society it's so common for teens to get plastic surgery, some people even get as a gift for entering college or getting a promotion at work

The companies push the idols to get surgery, I respect everyone who refuses. I hope in the future, idols will not be pushed to have surgery & the industry will embrace more varied beauty.

The statistics show the average person in Korean ps market gets work done, it's not a stretch to think someone high profile in the entertainment industry would, especially with the "visual" criteria emphasised for Kpop industry let alone the lookism cultural comparison.

Its no surprise to see the transformations, image plays a big part in the kpop industry, not to mention South Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world so the pressure & expectation to appear beautiful is high especially on young stars but they are naturally beautiful, they don't need any of these cosmetic procedures, still its their bodies, their life & if it makes them look & feel better about themselves, then you do what makes you happy. No one is to judge them for it PSY still looks the same and for his age he looks great, he dances a lot so will lose weight that way

I really want to know how painful this surgery is, wish there was more transparency about the making of a Kpop idol. At least in West they get success first then get rich and then choose the surgery for themselves (or are advised to by or and marketing) or not in case of some singer songwriters. Not judging anyone, just the truth needs to be out there so we know you can look like this if you also do others things versus oh "magic glow up"...
I'd say Giselle got Botox to her masseter muscle, jaw surgery takes insanely long to heal and tone down the swelling and it's just impossible to hide it while she's in Aespa. Botox to her masseters wouldn't be noticeable in small periods but makes a huge difference if you continue to get it and definitely will show after a year
Stray Kids are getting buff, specially Changbin and Chan, and they all look so good now! Maybe Seungmin is a bit underweight but they look good as always

Koreans won’t let her be an actress, their visual standard for actors and notorious for being even higher than for the idols. That’s why you only see the prettiest visuals from K-pop groups getting acting jobs. She also already were in many controversies and actors have to have pure reputation.

Giselle has great visuals similar to Krystal... so I totally see her getting an acting gig. She would SLAY the role of a chaebol but she can also fit the girl next door role. The visual standard for idol and actress is different. Giselle and Ningning both have been praised for having 'actress like' visuals in Korea.
For me the best plastic surgery ever done by k pop idols is wonyoung it was not include in the video but it is undeniable it makes her zero to hero for sure and it might be the best outcomes of all surgery

Before debut it's obvious that Yunjin try to fits American beauty standards (sharp jawline, tanned) but now she's following all the KBS so she won't get hate
one thing, that I think more people need to be aware of is that there are more possibilities than just either surgery or makeup...you can easily get a slimmer jawline and a softer face shape from botox injections into your masseter muscles. I had it done for jaw clenching issues and tension headaches but one other reason many get it done is to slim the face because sometimes a squarer jawline is just due to the muscle being quite large and not bone structure itself 😀 it takes like 10 mins, non-invasive and i'm sure a lot of kpop artists and people in Asia in general get it done as a relatively painfree and inexpensive option than full on surgery... especially when the downtime is like nothing at all.
Or yes she's beautiful but don't feel bad if you don't meet that standard. IE the reason is more than "puberty or genetics". It's about healthy attitude, this is what it takes to be an idol. That's all.
If you're a kpop fan you should get use to your idols having plastic surgery done. It's not a rare occurance. You shouldn't shame your favorite idol for getting work done either. Her getting plastic surgery doesn't mean she's not pretty.
I feel like Changbin's glow up is the healthiest. Nothing against cosmetic surgery but all these people were already beautiful before. When I look at Binnie, I see a a young teenage boy growing up and becoming a man and thats wholesome
For Yunjin I can definitely see she may have had her jawline done as it looks much more v-shaped compare to pre-debut and even produce 101 but it looks really good on her! Her nose is the same, her lips are the same, her mole on her chin is gone, her eyebrows are thinner and straighter as well as a lighter color, she is definitely wearing contacts and her skin is a much more fair-tone. Thats really all I see! If she got any surgery it was her jawline (maybe some cheek filler too) and her mole! Everything else is cosmetics! This does not mean she was ugly before or anything she just fit the western beauty standard more before and now she fits the korean beauty standard.
Yunjin is beautiful. It’s obvious she has surgeries but who cares? Everyone does. Especially in this industry. She made a commitment to her career by dedicating herself physically to it…. By making that sacrifice. I think it was brave🤷🏼♀️
Winter from aespa got a really good rhynoplasty. The problem is that Namjoo's plastic surgeon did a horrible work and let her beautiful nose botched 🤦♀️

As Korean, Psy's weight issue is kinda MEME in S.Korea😂😂😂 So we and Psy are taking it as jokes ! Don't that too seriously👋 +In Kpop industry, we normally say idols lose their weight when it's their comeback season and gain a lil fat in recess term. But in his case, Psy is mostly coming with chubby body on his concert season though it require huge energy. (Plus, he is well known for his passionate concert perfomances. ALMOST LIKE AN ICON in Korea. ) And he becomes thin in non-active period. 😂😂 When his concert season begins ppl pull a prank with him like " you're body is not wobbling enough because of your weight loss🚫🚫🚫"
I love that these people are more confident in their skin. The only problem is the more they get work done the more homogeneous they have become for me. The long black hair, pointed chin, dark eyes etc makes it harder for me to distinguish them from before with their natural look. I'd do the same as them in a heartbeat tho, lol. They smooth out all their imperfections, making them perfect how are they to stand out in a crowd? They are all so beautiful.

Yunjin had a western look before her transformation. She had a similar face to Ariana Grande, like she barely looked Asian. Could easily have passed for Hispanic or Italian mix. She looks 100% Korean now. Korean beauty standards really taking over the world. Even Asians want to look even more Asian. Ariana is looking Asian too these days lol
I think it's crazy that people don't consider that you just change a lot in that age. During debut idols are often in their late teens or early 20ies. That's still so young! I had a round face up until I was 24 or so and then my face got slimmer without me loosing weight or having anything done. And I know lot of women who experienced the same.
Yunjin's face shape has changed tremendously! She definitely had her jaw done losing weight won't give you a v shaped jaw and full cheeks lmao!! I like the previous one as well though
People really need to stop acting like weight loss completely changes facial features. I lost about 30kgs and yes I do look a bit different but it didn’t change my nose shape lol South Korea has very strict beauty standards and these people are in the public eye. They most definitely get stuff done ! And sadly sometimes without their consent
