@dfmtoolworks I have this square and several other of your products, and I can attest to the quality and usefulness of your stuff!!! Keep up the great work!
As one who owns the Bosch 6 in sander, at $209 that is an incredible deal. If I didn't not have it, I would most definitely buy it again especially with that good of deal. 👍If you want a step up that is not breaking the bank, this is the sander to get.
Had my own version of prime day yesterday. Used...but got an older version of the jet drum sander for 100.00. A 14in older version Rikon band saw for 300 and a Rikon mortise drill press for 75.
I already know I shouldn't open this video. I just bought the Milwaukee installation driver. It's freaking awesome for pocket screws. It's an awesome drill that offers so much more. It is truly a pleasure to use. I do not need more tools this month. I do not need more tools this month. I do not need more tools this month.
Even at 249, the skil is the best value out there. That Bosch sander is my favorite sander. Ive used a rotex and I don’t think the price difference is worth it. The Bosch performs amazingly. I’ve used and abused it for three years and it shows no signs of slowing down
You had me scared when you showed the Dewalt sander for only 50 dollars, but then I realized it wasn't the variable speed model. I just picked one up for a hundred last week, I was gonna be bummed if it went on sale for half price. Still a good budget option!
Good Morning brother…..Sorry for asking you this question on this video. A fairly new viewer to your channel…..and mostly to support a fellow brother, and a fairly new router user. How do I router a word so that I end up with the “negative” part of the word? Does that make sense? Sorry. Brother Frank
The Kreg K4 is a nice pocket hole jig. But, what ever happened to the K5? I bought the K5 when it first came out and liked it much better than the K4. It has the operating handle in the front.
Just grabbed the Skil Miter saw and was about to grab the Wen 10 inch drill press but I grabbed a different brand (bucktool) that I had saved in my cart since was only $20 more and had better reviews.
I have a different model Wen. Before I used it, I got the Jet Cyclonic Dust and Chip Separator Kit with 20-Gallon Bin ($69 on sale) from Woodcraft last December. It does take up more space having the dust separator, but the Wen bag hardly gets any chips/dust in the bag allowing for good air flow.
@731Woodworks I've been watching that 6" dual mode Sander for over a year and this is the best price I've seen on it. Now to find some good 6"sandpaper to use with it. I've been using the Diablo sandnet paper on my 5in orbital and really like it.
OBSERVATION..that Bora rack is great but they raised the price, even higher than normal price. I got 6 earlier this year for 22 a piece...not 75 'on sale'. You really have to use a price tracker to make sure you arent getting screwed.
Relatively new to your channel, but didn’t know you were a Wen fan. Can confirm that the drill press is really nice for the price point; had mine for a few years. Curious, do you have an opinion on Wen’s benchtop planer? I purchased one about two years back, but haven’t used it much (moving will do that). The few times I have used it, I didn’t get the results I was hoping for, but I’m 90% sure that was because of user error and not the planer.
Wen planer is good for edge jointing and face jointing shorter boards. Not great for long boards but if you're just doing cutting boards and small panels (like end tables, etc.) it works good.
Would that tablesaw blade work on my dewalt 10 in table saw. I'm also looking into buying dado blades, but I'm not sure which tobuy and I need to make a table saw sled. Any advice?
Grizzly’s lumber rack is the same thing and 5 bucks cheaper than the Bora, have them both, actually like Grizzly’s spacer a tad better but it’s a minor thing.
I randomly walked down an aisle at Lowes and picked up the Bora for $29 on clearance last year. Was looking at a deal Woodcraft had at that time for $50 that I was considering so made it an easy decision. Almost wished I picked up 2 of them at that price in retrospect.
@@731Woodworks Odin my service dog that you met in Franklin is slowly getting used to the noise of my tools. Hope to see you again at the next tailgate event in Franklin.
@@731Woodworks Wow - I need to pay more attention. Didn't see your video until 4 hours. I am trying to go all cordless. Despite having a decent corded router (Colt), I really want the Dewalt
Hey matt i purchase the DeWALT Random orbital sander on prime day it arrived today with no Velcro do i need to buy Velcro for the sander if you can help me that will be great
Just checked the first deal, 1pm central it's already not that price. Not sure what time you posted this but we are in the same day and I can't find it for that price using your link.
Q. Matt, I need two items I have the dwe779 and the 13" dewalt planer but they didn't come with the stand or the wings is there any deals on where i can get these other than home depot. I literly live in walking distance of a Lowes but home depot is like 50 miles away.
DeWALT 60v Track Saw combo is on deal right now (posted on the deals post on the website). Not sure about other brands but I'll keep my eyes open for a good deal.
Can you confirm this...I read somewhere that when you purchase a Dewalt tool on Amazon that the tool is not cover as Amazon is a third party. I tried to register a tool early last year and I couldn't. I called Dewalt and they told me the same, that I couldn't register it.
I've never heard that on DeWALT tools. Milwaukee has to be sold by an Authorized dealer and Amazon isn't authorized to sell Milwaukee. But I've bought a BUNCH of DeWALT from Amazon without issues.
I have heard this about DeWalt on Amazon as well, I haven't verified it or anything, it was just from other RU-vidrs. It would be nice to get some confirmation around it.
@731Woodworks I've never been asked where I've bought my milwaukee tool whenever I'm doing a warranty claim. They just look up the serial number (dated) on the tool to see if it is still under warranty. Unless that has changed in the last year or 2 but that's part of the reason I'm team red. 😊 love your stuff!
I wish you tool pros would stop recommending xtool laser engravers. They’re so expensive. Check out roly lasermatic MK2 comes with enclosure, comes with rotary tool, honeycomb bed, I’ve been using their original lasermatic and upgraded to the MK2 20w, they now even have a 30w upgrade for it, the 20w REGULAR PRICE is $1299 which is cheaper than the sale price for the xtool. It’s a diode laser, far easier to use than the CO2 laser and does the same job as the co2 can do. This sucker can cut thru 10mm wood, it’ll take out 6mm pretty well and melts 3mm wood like it’s not there. You have to try it. They’re rock solid every day.
