Guys, you DO NOT want to miss these crazy fun things to do in Tokyo with kids. Japan is all kinds of crazy and amazing perfectly balanced together - it's the perfect amount of crazy and fun that all kids will love.
If you're in Tokyo as part of your Japan family holiday, then you need to tick these 12 attractions off your bucket list. From the insane and crazy Kawaii Monster Cafe to an unforgettable day at Disneyland Tokyo, Yoyogi Park, Tokyo Skytree, Akihabara, Edo Museum and much more - this is one city (or country) you'll keep coming back to. Bear in mind, even though 12 sounds like a lot of attractions, I'm barely scraping the surface of all the Tokyo attractions for kids there are. The city is basically like a gigantic adult and kids' playspace with soooo much to experience and do - you will, literally, never get bored. All you'll want is more time in this incredible city. Plus, your kids will be begging to come back time and time again.

Highlight of odaiba is def teamlabs now for me - i havent even been to gundam statue the many times ive been in tokyo - its always refreshing when we see your episode because you take the kiddo angles of exploring town which is awesome , cant imagine mini nick running around haha anytime soon I wanna go to monster cafe

Great list Tina 👍 You nailed it! We quite liked Odaiba. Javi became obsessed with Gundam. He was begging for a Gundam toy for the whole trip. We gave in on the last day and got him one for the flight home to keep him quiet on the plane. Legoland was also pretty cool for kiddos.

So I stared saving for my trip to japan last year. I was going to go solo but now I'm having a little one this year. Your video really helps me to replan to take my new family when our son is older. Lol but now I have to save a little more so it will be a while before we go :p.

Oh man JOYPOLIS!!! We loved that place! Haha, Andy, do you even squat! 😂🤣We so want to do more of the themed cafes, so many fun looking places to eat. Harajuku during Halloween was awesome 😁Dam you guys, now we just want to go back to Japan again 🤣😂We can't just pick one we want to do, as they're all cool, but we'd definitely have to put the robot cafe on the list, as we haven't done that yet and one we will definitely do on our next visit, that isn't in your vid, is the Mario Karts 😁 We can't wait to throw on a costume and blat around the city on an oversized go-kart 😂🤣

haha nah he always misses leg day 😂😂😂 We always talk about going back to Japan too! Oooooo yeah Mario Kart was top on our list too but didn't have anyone look after kiddos 😭. Have you guys tried it? We've had friends try it and they had a blast!

Nah we haven't done the Mario Karts yet, they didn't exist yet the last time we were there and I fear if we don't go soon we will miss out. They just got successfully sued by Nintendo, but are still operating for now. We definitely want to do the Tokyo one, but think we will even head to back to Okinawa to try that one too 😁

😁monster themed cafe looks really cool even as an adult. Really does look like Alice in wonderland. We tried out a maid cafe just cause we're in Japan kinda weirded out by the experience 😂 yoyogi park was basically our home cause we lived near by and walked through it too get to the shops. Did you guys try the animal cafes? they were really fun too. We lived really close to yoyogi park too. It's so nice. I have only watched that video when he says the Tony the tiger part 😂😂😂 Do you know of that guy Tim delaghetto from wild'n'out. He is really funny.

It’s interesting hey how many bizzare things we see in Japan. We heard that robot restaurant is a tourist trap from the people who have visited it, is it true? We decided not to go there even though it’s very close to our hotel where we stayed in Shinjuku during our Japan trip. Nice to see a different perspective from your videos for a family with kids. It’s so different with our ‘adult only’ itinerary😄 Two Hungry Diners

Japan has many bizarre but so funny at the same time. If you know what to expect when you go in, then it's not so much a tourist trap. We found it to be exactly what it is haha. You don't go there for the food. It's the weird show they put on. hahaha we wish we could see Japan's 'adult only' itinerary. Heard it's lots of fun too!

Haha it looks nothing like beer foam! Someone told me it's meant to be a flame but the flawed design couldn't hold it up so they had to lay it on the roof sideways.

Hi there! I wouldn't say it's scary, per se. There's just a lot of loud noise, music and lights, but that might scare little ones if they're not used to it.

Couple things to note. Robot Restaurant is in the middle of Tokyo’s red light district, not always the most kid friendly area. Probably ok during the day but a bit more adult at night. Just beware there may be adult entertainment in the area, and I would avoid entering any bars or clubs with kids. Robot restaurant show used to be more adult oriented but has been made more “family friendly “ in recent years due to overwhelming tourist demand. I would probably take the older kids to this one, and better to go around noon.

Hi there! =) we use the Baby Tula carrier. Fantastic carriers, and keep an eye out for their mesh back ones, good for warmer countries.

That statue is not a replica, it is a gift from France to Japan.

That's also true George - it was a gift from France for one year (April 1998 to May 1999) but due to it's popularity in Odaiba Japan made a replica in 2000.
