12. Music sounds like the kind you would hear before someone dies. 11. It would be even scarier if that hand was holding a knife. 10. Music that could be used while someone's being electrocuted. 9. Fanfare that can be played before someone dies. 8. The black background makes you scared this logo will appear in your room at night. 7. There were probably some nightmares of the WB shield crushing you to death. 6. Jumpscare music. 5. Another pre-death tune. 4. More jumpscare music. 3. Imagine the male voice over saying "Our feature presentation...your death." 2. 2spoopy4me 1. I bet the feature presentation was death to the viewer.

#9: I agree! I thought of Heavy Orchestral Music as something too grand or too formal. #8: What scared me as a kid was the black background, the quiet music, and the glowing triangle point. The logos that scared me the most were the Buena Vista Television logo, the Columbia-Tristar TV logo, the Paramount TV logo, and the 20th Century Television logo. Three of them had heavy orchestral music, and one of them looked like some asteroids were going to crash into the earth, and the logo at the end kind of reminded me of pipe organs.

This is so fascinating. I always thought I was the only one. So many logos + loud fanfare music freaked me out as a kid, and even still to this day a little. #1 for me is MGM, for sure!
@@Warhawkqueen21 I wasn't scared of any logo as a kid. However when I watched Scooby Doo Where Are You VHS tapes with my family some nights, I would sometimes get scared by some villains.
The THX is the scariest My Top 7 scariest logos as a child 7. Lyricks 6. The Thomas and friends logo 5. Hannah Barbera Logo ending 4. Paramount Feature Presentation 3. WGBH Boston 2. Feature Presentation 1. THX
Macrovision Quality Protection is found at the end of many Universal Studios DVD movies. I actually like this logo screen, but that could be because I grew up seeing it and the accompanying music so many times... it's practically a nostalgic tradition for me nowadays.
Am I the only one who was scared of the “Distributed by Buena Vista” logo? A film I watched all the time when I was little that had/has that logo was the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Everything about it, from the abstract blue background, to the weird font used for the “Buena Vista” text, and ESPECIALLY the music I found creepy. I’m not entirely sure if the music in the logo on many adventures is used in other films. It wasn’t the only logo that scared me - I was also scared of the the gold Walt Disney home video logo as well, radical sheep logo, Sony wonder website bumper, paramount dvd logo, paramount feature presentation logo, “cheesy shield” Warner home video logo, aka cartoon logo, and 2002 deluxe digital studios logo. As well as the “flashbang” bumpers on 90s Disney tapes as well as another Disney bumper - the “spinning disc” bumpers from 2006-2020. They’d have a spinning disc on the top left corner and the music would always be unpredictable, where sometimes they’d be calm, while others they’d be bombastic. Even to this day I mute the volume whenever I watch a dvd with those bumpers.
@@TheSourHours Hey bro. I need your help finding a video called "Switch Jr.'s Werefox Transformation". I really need your help. If you find it, you will be rewarded. Okay?
MGM is my scariest. i saw some episodes of tom and jerry on boomerang and the tanner the lion logo would show up. i ran out of my room at sonic speed. i am still kinda scared of it but i am very slowoly getting used to it.
*BRUH.* the sony wonder logo is one of the most peaceful logos of all time! and while I do admit the thx logo is really loud, its not scary. I just simply think that the thx logo is an over reaction. just like the s from heck.
For me the warner home video logo didn't necessarily SCARE me but I do understand why its on this top list because this logo did make me really nervous. The heavy instrumental music was a little creepy to me. but OMFG I agree with you on the disney feature presentation logo at 6:13 that logo was my nightmare and the reason why I was scared to go to sleep. That logo scared me because 1. the music is just so HORRIFYING to me and 2. I was always afraid that a monster would jump out of the tv whenever the logo plays. I know that last reason sounds stupid but thats just how it was for me when I was little.
#12 = Other Disney logos were scarier tbh #11 = Not scary #10 = So loud yikes #9 = Not scary #8 = Not scary #7 = This would have scared me tbh, the one with it zooming toward u is even worse #6 = Not scary #5 = Too short to be scary tbh #4 = These did scare me #3 = That voice is terrifying #2 = I dont find this too scary tbh #1 = This scares me today just a huge no no
Now, before you read my opinions, I 110% respect your opinion! Never watched The Classics as a kid. Not scary to me. Lyrick terrified me as a kid. I would always fast-forward it on VeggieTales, Kipper, Bob The Builder, The Wiggles, and Barney videos. I wasn't really scared of this logo. It was Splaat that freaked me & an entire generation out. Even semi-professional RU-vidrs & the original creators of the logo admit that it was freaky! I only ever saw like 1 tape with this logo growing up (Wallace & Gromit In A Close Shave), but I completely forgot all about the logo until I started watching RU-vid. Never scared me. Macrovision, as seen on the Franklin tapes growing up, never scared me. Warner Home Video I RARELY saw as a kid, I only ever had tapes with the 1997-2017 logo. I DID rent Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation on VHS as a kid (One of my favorite films of ALL-TIME!), and I fast-forwarded through the logo fearing it would be scary, but when I actually watched it. It was far from it. Wow. This NEVER scared me! It's one of the most peaceful logos ever! Watched a LOT of different tapes with this logo growing up! This is a website used to make videos. This isn't scary in the slightest. Didn't scare me. Neon Mickey scared me. This didn't scare me either. THX was loud, not scary. While I do admit that it did make me jump when I was little. It never outright scared me.
I respect your opinion! but also, I dont understand why the lyrick studios logo is scary. the music is kinda depressing, but also happy at the same time. and the splaat logo. I just like the splaat because its nostalgic.
12: Scary becouse of heavy orchestra Music 11:Like a Hand Is gonna kidnap you 10: Very Loud! 9:Pretty evil about that Kind of Music 8:So evil becuz of the Dark! 7:Pepole Can be childish! 6:Music explodion was too scary. 5:The end of the logo sounds like a Bell. 4:Too shiny that you can't sleep! 3:Very loud Music! 2:Nightmare Including! 1:Your ears explodes.
2:37 I know you used to be scared of this (dunno if you still are), but when you see this symbol, the CP triangle, it means the disc and/or tape you're watching is copyright/copy protected.
Well, Number One on this list scared me the most back in the day. However, the one that I’d say is the most scary now would have to be the either Ramsay Brothers or the Feature Presentation Crow Variant (that one is more personal though, meaning I doubt many are scared of that).
My sister always played room elevator in rec room and the tv room was that having the THX deep note (I had nightmares of it I swear play room elevator)
I used to get spooked by the Universal Animation Studios logo when the logo transformed and I was afraid of all the Deluxe Digital logos (except for the current Deluxe logo) that produce Universal and Fox movies however I was afraid of all three of those logos that appeared at the end of Curious George but I was less spooked by the microvision logo
MediawareDavid Macrovision never scared me, it was boring to me. And I loved the universal animation logo! I would sit around the TV when that logo came on just to see the smiling air plane show up!
Brian The Magic Minion I caught that as well. This was made before screen recording was a thing, so I could only use clips that RU-vid editor would provide. You must have a good ear.
The THX, Walt Disney Home Video, and Feature Presentation (Disney & Paramount) logos didn't scare me as a kid. The Lyrick Studios logo however creeped me out a little, but not completely.
12. Did not really care for 11. Scary because of annoying music and creepy Hand that came out of nowhere. I Even Muted The TV and closed my eyes with my hands on Kipper, barney, And other HIT entertainment Tapes . Even whenever i watched barneys great adventure (even though i hate these shows and movies now since im too old) when i was a little kid 10. Scary and annoying 9. Liked the music but not the logo 8. MY #1 CHILDHOOD NIGHTMARE...!!! i even had nightmares involving the logo and the music. The logo was so creepy with a CP Triangle at the beginning of the logo. I even muted the TV and hid under my blanket, climbed on my DVD shelf or run out of the room when this logo showed up. I even saw this at the end of universal DVDs/Tapes, Barneys great adventure DVD and i did hide under my blanket and muted the tv when i watched it when i was little even with other Polygram VHS tapes and DVDs 7. Scary when i was a kid but the music is good and when i grew up i got used to the logo 6. Scary I found this at the end of caillous holiday movie (Even though i still hate the movie and the end credits song because im too old for it) Canadian version on youtube and other stuff. But whenever i sleep with tv off i cant because the fanfare 5. Not bad 4. Annoying and scary to see a gold text fade in 3. Scared of this logo when i was a kid. Even though i used to think the paramount warnings would be on my mirrors when i was kid and the voice was creepy 2. My #2 childhood nightmare with black screen and creepy music i even thought the THX text would come out of my screen. Same thing in the dark at night when i'm trying to sleep 1. Very scary
CBS Fox Video - My Fair Lady (Laserdisc) Macrovision Quality Protection - Barbie and the Three Musketeers (DVD) Warner Home Video - It Takes Two (VHS) Sony Wonder - Sesame Street: Elmopalooza (VHS) and Holly Hobbie & Friends: Christmas Wishes (version #2) (DVD) Paramount Feature Presentation - numerous Paramount movies (including Secret Central) (VHS and Laserdisc) THX Digitally Mastered / THX Certified Game - numerous movies and video games (including The Princess Diaries) (VHS, DVD, Laserdisc, Blu-ray Disc, PS2, PS3 and XBOX)
Josh Poventud That was one of my scariest logos as a kid too! (My second-scariest, in fact!) It still freaks me out to this day! (The text, the voice, the fanfare...SOMEONE HOLD ME!!)

And it was a duck in the water. #10:So loud, i could wonder that logo could scare the shit out of me as a child.
