I think this has taught me that I don’t want to mess with this category of laser engraving. Seems like more frustration then it’s worth. Thank you! Still enjoyed the video.
We bought a Xtool Pro 20w months ago. I have engraved signs, coasters, cutting boards. I keep notes on what my settings are for each project so I can use them on my next project of the same category. Settings will vary and you use what works for you. Kim and Garrett, I love watching your videos. You guys make a great couple
WOW this was a MASTER CLASS in laser photo engaging. This very easily could have been a paid session with all the workflow tips and how to get expert results FAST.
Actually, the line interval should be the laser dot size, for a typical CO2 it is about 0.15 mm - exactly as you found it. At 0.08 mm your lines are overlapping, hence the bad result.
Hi how are you!! I'm considering buying a diode laser cutting machine. However, I realized that caution is needed when dealing with MDF. Furthermore, I am wondering whether this precaution should be extended to other materials, especially since, regarding MDF, which is not widely discussed in Brazil, I had to seek information abroad. Although it is a topic that is rarely covered, I was concerned to discover that there is evidence that MDF may be linked to cancer, due to the gases that are produced during the laser cutting process. Unfortunately, I was unable to find information about the gases emitted when burning other materials, such as cardboard. Would you have any knowledge or information about this? Furthermore, I would like to know if there is some kind of exhaust cabin for this equipment, which is capable of filtering and cleaning these gases before they are released into the environment. Look at the answer I already had about this (if you're scared, just don't do it because everything in life causes some kind of harm to your health). Thank you in advance for your help and guidance. thanks ola tudo bem !!estou considerando comprar uma máquina de corte a laser de diodo.
Hi Kim and Garrett - beautiful job, but quite a learning experience. I don't have a machine, except for a Cricut, but I still enjoy your videos. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Love PegEgg
