Picked up Metal Rain on a blind buy and love it. I use it before bed and really enjoy the scent while I'm just relaxing or falling asleep. Also works well on rainy days.
Man I was hoping that Tobacco & Tonka Bean was #1 I grabbed it from Burlington about 2 months ago for $20 only been able to wear it 2x during the day when it was much cooler weather but it smell so good!!

My Heart just jumped with surprise! I literally just bought that Oud Mosaic 15mins ago from The Perfume Shop for £26 as a total random hopeful guess while ordering my Chanel body lotion. I didn't even wanna keep it in my collection...I own over 350 fragrances, and I was so disappointed.. I took it back and exchanged it..smells like a dead embalmed corpse...don't understand how people like that weird fecal barnyard undertone...lol..
If you have Leather Reserve, and don't love it, try layering with CK Shock which is super cheap too. Leather and Tobacco. Quite good in 1:1 ratio. Kind of a powdery, dry DG THE ONE EDP.
I Love 90 Pure White. It’s the cleanest fragrance ever and smells so good. Also Tobacco and Tonka Bean and Dark Cherry Amber.. I’ve picked all mine up from Burlington .. I’ve been thinking bout getting the metal rain and the Neroli woods that’s always there
Haha, I say the exact same thing about Cypress Cedar, and I can't quite place it: It reminds me of a cozy thanksgiving or christmas gathering. This might be an unpopular opinion, but for me it's a 100% cold winter daytime fragrance. Perfect for morning coffee with the family on christmas.
Im planning to collect all. I picked up Peony and Peppercorn at Ross by accident. And I like it. The site you recommended That carries banana rep. Fragrances are expensive thouhg $90 each.

Love the video and I was lucky to be able to find both the Grassland and Metal Rain for 19.99 at my local Burlington Coat Factory. To me grassland smell like the Irish Spring Soap to me. Metal Rain almost remind me of the Black Platinum but a little softer. But I had to get a backup of Tobacco and Tonka Bean.

I bought a bunch of these and regret every one except oud mosaic and cypress cedar. Mosaic is like Dior Ispahan light, and Cypress is like Terre d'Hermes EDC.

My favorite so far: tonka and tobacco, amber and cherry and neroli woods. All of them are unisex, some might say leaning slightly feminine, but personally I think a man can rock it. Metal rain smells great but lasts like 2 hours so it’s hard pass for me.
My s/o wore Dior Homme Cologne with 78 Vintage Green one day and I just had to copy him. SO fresh and calming and unisex. Musky lemonade with green tea.
Very nice job on this list ... great descriptions of each. I have to admit that I pretty much only use my Banana Republic fragrances to spray on pillows and sheets as the performance is generally pretty lackluster. I'm a collector and felt the need to have them, but I won't replace them when they're gone. But scent is very subjective and my opinion, plus a nickel, is worth exactly five cents. Keep up the great reviews!
they have like 5 to 7 different banana republics of these in burlington coat factory for over a year, but they have never carried oud mossaic, i stop by every few weeks to see, but oud mosaic is hard to find.
I found one at Burlington the other day, bought it and returned the next day. I love Oud but this one comes across like mothballs in an old lady's closet to me. I can't stand it. I have Tom Ford Oud Wood and I love that one.
Have both the Dark cherry and amber and Tonka Bean and tobacco. He is 100 percent right about the descriptions. Dark cherry is awesome but only last maybe 2 hrs. Tonka smells awesome and last between 4-6 hrs.
Idk if you ever smelt their Republic of Men cologne. It’s discontinued now but man it’s great! I have a tiny 1 oz that I baby. Really good plum opening. With a powdery woody finish. You can’t find it anywhere anymore. You lucky to get your nose on it now.

I got my no. 17 Oud today and I really love it. However, when my wife came home she asked if I had sprayed insect repellent lol! It’s an acquired scent I guess… I immediately get the rose and the fireplace smokiness, and with only 3 sprays I fill up the room for the first 2 hours.
Yeah I have a few of them including oud mosaic. I thought it smelled like flowers and cow shit. Pure white is pleasant but feminine imo. Tobacco and Tonka bean smells very good but I don't see myself wearing it.
I really like the Icon line. They WERE cheap. ..not anymore. I am glad I jumped on these. I have about 12 of these. They are very pleasant and non- offensive. Great bang for the buck. I just wish they were stronger. But my favorites are: Neroli Woods, Vintage Green and Black Rain. Oh and also Oud Mosaic. Like I said..I have all but 3 or 4.
I picked up Metal Rain for under 30 and I must say it is pleasant. On my skin it becomes very subtle but works nice on my clothing and seems to activate with my body heat. It’s one to be discovered versus announced.
I mix 1/2 tonka 1/4 dark cherry and 1/4 gardenia and the ladies love it. My only 3 are tonka, gardenia and dark cherry the rest i will pass on. Men don't pass up gardenia when layered right its a lady magnet, people often ask if i am wearing baccarat rouge 540
I have both Metal Rain and Vintage Green. Love them both. Next one I wanna get is Cypress Cedar. I had to return Oud Mosaic because it smells like mothballs in an old lady closet. I just can't see myself wearing it. I love Tom Ford Oud Wood and it smells great. Oud Mosaic is just nasty on my skin. If someone wanna get it, better sample it first.
I finally found some Banana Republic fragrances in a rack store but none were from the Icon line. Do you recommend any others? Black Walnut, Black Walnut Legend, Modern, Cordovan?
Black Walnut and Legend are outstanding. Legend even has some Aventus vibes. Just wish they performed better but the value is still good if you pick them up for around 20 at Burlington
if you like cypress cedar, you may like atelier cologne's atlas cedar. I happen to have both and out of curiosity, I sprayed each on my hands, and I prefer it over BR's offering, better quality and more niche-like.

I found today Oud Mosaic and Dark cherry amber for $19.99 I only took the dark cherry amber because I didn’t try Oud Mosaic before and it may be too masculine for me … i am also a gourmand girl 🥰
Awesome vid. My favs vintage green, tobacco & tonka, black walnut, cedar & cypress, grassland, dark cherry & amber, metal rain and linen vetiver. All are great for the price just make sure u get them at the rack stores. Online they usually are inflated
I almost got the whole collection from burlington it took almost 2 years but I rather hunt them down in rack stores also for the original penguin and vince camuto line found them all in the rack stores its more fun
