If you find your brand new wig a little shinier than you'd like, it is easy to tone it down using a little baby powder in the palm of your hands, rubbing them together and running your fingers through the fibers of the wig. Also, after a few washes, the shine will naturally tone down.

Hi Lorraine, Rochelle here and I'm loving your great questions! If you like your wigs to have lift, I would suggest a machine teased wig. All of our wigs have open wefts so your wig is light and your scalp can breathe. Also, open wefts do not inhibit hair growth. I love our machine teased wigs because they're never flat (unless you keep brushing them that way - over time they'll just stay flat) and for you I'd suggest a good teasing brush and tease right at the root where you want the lift. When a wig is new it's so soft that it helps to "tangle" up the areas where you want to tease by spritzing our "Keep It There" Low Alcohol Hair Spray just on the teased area. Also, to start with more fullness, always shake your wig before putting it on. Like hair, unless you spray the heck out of it, it may flatten during an entire day. Keep our travel size hair spray and sneak into an area that you can check out your hair. What you don't want is to spray it so much that it looks like a wig. I just purchased the Cristi wig and while I love it on Rochelle, it seems like alot more hair on me. Has your wig been thinned out at all in the video?
Hi Linda, Rochelle here! None of the wigs on any of our videos has been changed, thinned or altered in any way. We show them exactly as you receive them. I would suggest that you spritz a little water on your Cristi if you want it to look alittle more airy and piecey. That's what I always do with a new wig. Remember that it is untouched and needs a little help with styling, especially if you just brushed it and that's it. Take some time to play - Cristi is a fantastic wig and I hope this helps!

I notice the back I could see the wefting and you fixed it. That is what I would be worried about the whole time I had it on. Do you have one that wouldn’t show that if hair got separated in back?
Hi Shan, Rochelle here! Honest; after 40 years of wearing wigs, I typically brush the back and around; making sure I'm set and also always looking at the back of my wig with a mirror. On the videos, we go faster! I have never had anyone see the wefts when I go out; but if you want extra protection from seeing the wefts, just wear one of our lightweight nylon wig caps under the wig. It would do the trick. And choose a color cap that is similar to the wig color. Hope that helps!

When I was in college I wore wigs almost every day. Pixie wigs. They were just the cutest. My hair now is shoulder length so I can wear it up. I have MS and Breast Cancer so I am pretty much “ IN THE HOUSE “ 😰 and just want to feel pretty again. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through 🙈 I am 74 but my hair is still not gray. Go figure? My natural hair is blackish brown. Now is Just a salt and pepper in some places and comes out a lot due to my medications. 🥴 So I use a dark brown shampoo on it now. As the salt and pepper is rather mousy looking to me. I am enjoying your videos with your daughter. You’re both just so lovely 🥰 and have so much fun together.

I have a small face and head. All wigs on me look like a lot of hair and very wiggy!!!!!! Do you carry a wig that is low density and will not make me look so stupid

Diana LF also comes rooted in Champagne which is a platinum blond with pale blond. It is most similar to the Creamy Blond color. Ok, so here is my problem. These ladies are gorgeous..... I am NOT!!! There are several wigs/colors that I really like in this video. But, I’m terrified of what I would look like in one of these! My hair is already very fine and now thin and fine. Baseball caps have become my new best friend, although I look horrible in it. I’m just so unhappy with the way I look.....even without the cap. WITH the cap, I hate it, too. I can’t wear a basketball cap at work so, I have to use Caboki which is a fill-in powder similar to Toppik. I’m just plain miserable! I’m too old to wear most of these wigs because I feel like I’d look like I’m trying to be young and pretty, which I am neither. I’m at my wits end.
Hi C F, Rochelle here! Let's be pro-active here and let's make some changes that will empower you - if that's what you want. Some people prefer to be unhappy... Number 1 is find one thing about yourself that you love and start loving and complimenting yourself 10 times a day. We don't want your negative outlook about your looks to turn into dis ease. It would probably be a good thing for you to meet with someone who can coach you about wigs and help you try. Or, if you send a photo of yourself (or your favorite photo) send it to "Info@GodivasSecretWigs.com". We do have a retail store in So Cal and a fantastic wig expert there who works by appointment. And, possibly in the future, I am going to meet with clients and make videos of their wig appointment with me. Include in your email, your photo, where you live and a paragraph about why you're interested in a consultation. These are all possibilities for you. First, you have to be willing to love yourself into self confidence and be willing to see yourself as the picture in your mind. Or, no wig in the world is going to work for you. FYI - we have clients from 13 years old to 98 years old. They want to feel pretty and make changes and they're willing to do what it takes - along the way, they find things to love about themselves.
