All the 92SC S2 boxes I've ripped had 2 Beam Teams per box. Beautiful Jordan, I pulled a Shaq few years ago

I liked the last entry with the Bulls 3 card set. The Basketball Topps 1990 set would have been great! The Payton was nice. I wonder why they didn't start doing set until the mid 1990"s?

Topps gave up there license after the 1981-82 set du to lock of demand as Bird, Magic and Jordan were not big yet. In fact no one picked up the contract for the 1982-83 season. Topps finally got back on the fold in 1992 and issued the Archives set to show what the cards would have looked like if the had issued them for the missing years based on their baseball card designs.

Yeah that one is tough to find. I can remember when the cost was 2500 for a psa 10. Should have pulled the trigger on it years ago.

I have a nice looking raw copy that I pulled from a rack pack as a kid. I should probably get it graded as the longer it stays in the collection the more likely it will get damaged. I would guess NM MT 8 condition but would love to be surprised.

That’s because dealers knew how to fan the cards in the rack packs back in the day and they would sell nothing but the packs that had the Larry Johnson inserts. All of the Team Leader cards went up sky high in price and then crashed once they started showing up in bulk at shows at those same dealers tables. Luckily grading has helped bring the prices back up and collectible again.
