3:30 is it me or does Axlesen always looks like he's holding onto an invisible walking aid with his left hand when anticipating his opponent's shots? lol
@@techangelnymph u don't rlly need muscle in badminton, especially in the upper body, because power from overhead shots like a clear or smash comes from wrist, rotation of forearm and shoulder.
I'd never think that lindan is muscular tho. He still on the small ripped body side like lcw. Definition of muscular is ko sung hyun and fu haifeng in men's double. But i think being muscular in doubles doesnt gives you too much disadvantage unlike in singles
What LCW face says @#4: “I can’t believe I’m wasting my time playing you… grow a moustache first kid, then come back in about 50 years”. As a recreational badminton player I’ve been on the receiving end of that look far too often from pro players, it’s quite painful. It’s not a look of disrespect, but rather of annoyance.
In that clip specifically, I recall that LCW was actually annoyed because he felt disrespected by his opponent. His opponent was very clearly not playing to win, but playing to draw out the rallies and not attacking shot opportunities. IDK the exact reasons, but I would consider it extremely disrespectful for a relatively inexperienced player to be doing that to a top seed player for whatever reason.
@@icedlatt3 What was actually the reason for LCW's annoyance? Was it what you mentioned? I've seen that clip many times now but still don't what was up with LCW in that moment llol
@@gamblersruin 5:07 LCW's net shot was clearly too high but Igarashi didn't go for the the kill and clear instead, it became clear that the Japanese player was not playing seriously
His backhand arent strong but accurate and very wide of hitting varieties. Lin dan has even weaker backhand, he rarely does cross backhand drop or cross backhand clear unlike lcw
By very far, the most annoying soundtrack in a RU-vid video. To such an extent I wonder if it's not done on purpose: I mean, no one can have such a bad music taste.
