Y2K did you watch the knights vid about that combo? Basically abate was nodding his head because he had promised a friend that he would hit that combo, and it took him basically four years to actually hit the combo in tournament, and he said that it was four years of frustration built up.

Well he's technically rank in D Tier. But as a fighter himself he can manage to beat against Fox, Captain Falcon, Sheik and Falco in different ways but in difficult ways he may struggles against out frames attack against like Falco and Captain Falcon and Sheik due to their aerial attacks. He referred to as (Mistake to Underestimate the Low Tier Fighter to get better with Hope).

I think I honestly know what happened with that last stock between Abate vs S2j. Abate was still in momentum of luigi' side b before he up-b'd so when s2j went for the stomp meteor, the meteor was canceled out because of said vertical momentum & explains why Abate still had his jump & up-b after the "vertical to horizontal cancel??" . I'm guessing melee' programming for aerial movement frames (outside of regular & smash attacks), it can't account for x+y=z at three places at a time thus the similar way the "invisible ceiling" glitch basically making luigi tech through a hitbox whereas it should take a stock. Also It didn't help Johnny half jumped into his up-b too. Luigi just defines jank all in all

Notes: Don't hit luigi with a light or medium knockback move because he wubbuffets. Don't let him near a ledge because he can pass by fast fall for 2-5 frames, and hope to god they can't wavedash.

It's called the Invisible Ceiling. It's a weird glitch that if a player taken a lot of damage and if you get launch, the knockback prevent them from getting launch higher or farther. It can also happens for players in different stages of you we're lucky to survive.

I'm a luigi main, and RNG just hates me. I never get misfire when i want it, only when it's gonna kill me, and whenever i get luigi dittos, the other one gets more misfires than me. Abate is lucky to have RNG on his side

"Invisible ceiling" glitch. It's where the Luigi DI's very specifically/slightly and the game bugs and stops any vertical knockback from the move. It's really odd and it's hard to explain, Armada has explained it on his stream and demonstrated it, that's where I would look if the wiki doesn't satisfy your lust for jank.

Mirratrix It's a hard glitch to explain but with Luigi there are certain times where he's more prone to have it happen (most commonly when you Down-B and get hit with an attack out of shield). But it pretty much just stops all vertical momentum after getting hit... some people can definitely explain it better than this so look up some RU-vid videos if you're interested

if Luigi down-b's while in a long wavedash/moving fast enough his y-axis is locked and the properties are just weird, as for the s2j moment it's easy to recreate but no one is really sure why you can only do it on the left side of stages
