I tried the Cle de Peau Radiant Cream foundation in B20 when you first reviewed it. I absolutely LOVE it, even more than the Radiant Fluid Foundation (B20 also) that has been my HG for months now. Who woulda' thought?!? I hate, hate that I love such an expensive foundation. 😔 The cream foundation gives such a soft, silkscreen appearance to the skin. I bought a backup tube a couple of days ago when Nordstrom had it on sale!

Omg I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and I have dry skin like you. I also like very natural looking makeup. I purchased the Surratt foundation, the Koh Gen do finishing powder, La Mer brush, Trish McEvoy BRUSH 55, and Sonia G Jumbo brush after watching you repeatedly talking about it for the past 4 or more years. Of the ones you mentioned, I like the Chanel No 1 the best of them all. I also REALLY love the Givenchy Prisme Libre in both the normal and the matter version and the Guerlaine L’Essential. I do love both of the NARS you mentioned too. I find the Ko Gen Doh too thick. I need to play with it, maybe add a serum or a more liquid foundation to see if I like it better.

Michelle! I finally tried the Surratt Dew Drop foundation and it is excellent! Now, you have smooth clear skin compared to mine with a couple red acne bumps and scars, and some large brown sun spots which show through but, I can cover those spots with concealer and it is still the lightest, most natural foundation I have. And I have a lot! And at your suggestion awhile back, I tried the Dior Forever concealer and it is now my favourite. It wrinkles less than others. I use a setting powder and it’s flawless. I trust you so much! Thank you 💕

I've said this a few times, Michele you really need to try Jane Iredale foundations. Especially the Liquid Minerals and the PurePressed. You would love them! They're full of skin loving ingredients, they wear well. the coverage is in the range that you like. These foundations have been around for years and years and for a good reason!

@@kellyslack4438 it also has beads with pigment like the Chanel one, but JI made it years before. It has a very light coverage, very hydrating, gives you a nice glow, very comfortable on the skin. If you like sheer/light foundations that are hydrating and want some extra skin benefits, highly recommend. I've been repurchasing it for years. Of course I try other ones and love them too, but always go back to liquid minerals! I dont think it can look bad on anyone because it is so lightweight

@@doraj7917 Pure Pressed Base is a great powder foundation. The JI liquid products have limited shade ranges. PPB could use more as well. They've been around for so long that they could have improved that if they wanted to.

Wow that was a good overview of all your Favs , I have about half of them…. I will wear the Dior Flash tomorrow, so light & diff from all the rest but great flawless coverage , as for Westman Atelier stick foundation I do remember in Gucci’s videos she said to apply the Lit Hi light under her foundation for the best blend ability… & one I also really like is the YSL Tinted foundation, it is really comfortable, blends well w/ a really pretty finish

Loved this video!! Lots of info!! I am 45 and have dry skin on most of my face. The Chanel Camelia foundation makes my skin look amazing!! Exfoliation, Tatcha Dewy serum, and Caudalie moisturizer before. Amazing!! Covers my rosacia and dark circles.

I find Givenchy and Shiseido to most agreeable with my dehydrated skin. I too love the Nars tinted sunscreen, but I haven’t used it in a couple of years. But after reading all the positive reviews, I am going to buy the new Kosas and Bobbi Brown serum foundations this week.

I absolutely love the Chanel No.1 and Cle de Peau foundations but I'm also enjoying the Zelens Age Control foundation, (I love the Zelens range as a whole, the skincare benefits are beautiful) which isn't talked about or in fact any Zelens products. The La Mer you mentioned, sounds quite lovely - I may just give that one a try. Love you 💗💗💗

@@surfnyolly I think that Ultra Le Teint fits normal to oily skin. You can also use Les Beiges Healthy glow Foundation, since it’s light and not too moisturizing. They are both medium coverage. For dry-mature skin (like mine) better Charlotte Tilbury beautiful skin foundation (thicker) of N.1 Chanel

I thought the Surratt foundation was really thick, hard to blend and looked cakey easily. You should try the Estee Lauder futurist aqua brilliance foundation. Never looks cakey no matter how much you apply, easy to apply and blend. The glow and blurring effect is incredible while feeling weightless. Thin texture too.

I got the new cle de peau foundation and I actually prefer the old version and I also wear B10 but the shade in the new version was a lot different then the old. The old version was much more neutral.

Thank you! I have tried the CdP radiant cream, radiant matte , and radiant natural in the last month! I think I like the matte and natural ones the best…I feel they just apply better being a fluid formula vs a cream on my dry skin. I got the shade B20 in both and B10 in the radiant cream. Shades were hard for me to figure out and pick 😂 Would like to compare the O20 and B20….

Thank-you for such a thorough overview, with attention to all of the important, informative details. No foundations are created nor worn equally. As a long-time fan of CdP's Radiant Cream Foundation (on my 4th consecutive re-buy). I'm now considering picking up the Sisley cushion for travel. My one reservation is the shade range in the Sisley (as you've rightly noted). Poor shade ranges are my absolute pet peeve, especially within the luxury space.

Love all of them. But my all time favorite now that i wear if i want to look flawless and healthy looking skin is the givenchy prisme libe skincaring glow foundation set with the powder. It had stay all day and blurs my imperfections without me looking i have caked face on.

I disagree about the LaMer sunscreen with tint, I adore their creams, but I found that reduction to be dry to apply and then too shiny on my face. Weirdly I needed moisturizer before I used it. The rest of those foundations I totally agree with, also some I will try.

Mac Radiance face and body is my go to light makeup. I don't do well with med/full coverage. They always seem gloppy and break-up on places of my face. I mix 3C with 1N right now but mostly 3C in the summer . Michele you should do a review on this Mac Radiance!!🥰 I'd love to know your thoughts. I'm 59 with t- zone type skin here in San Diego 😁 Loved this video 💞💗🌟

This is was so helpful, especially with the Beautylish and Sephora sale events. I have the Lisa Eldridge foundation and wore it the first time to a big event. Rookie mistake because it broke down (I definitely needed a primer and to use much less product). I will definitely try it again using your suggestions. I was looking for a good light weight/SPF base for the summer. As you know, NYC is so humid, so I don’t want anything too heavy. I think I will try the NARS Pure Radiant with the combo SPF.

Fun video! I've currently found Mac radiant face and body sheer foundation... It's really nice and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Sadly the Charlotte Tilbury (which had a beautiful finish) really caused me skin issues. I had to get rid of it. I'm curious about the Chanel water fresh tint now. Thanks!

I've only been following you a few months so I'm pretty late in commenting, but I wanted to say how much I appreciated this (and your other) video(s). It's funny, I found you while searching for reviews about Jones Road What the Foundation and the Wayne Goss cream foundation. I tried the JR WTF at the Credo store here in Los Angeles and couldn't stand the smell, and the Wayne Goss has been out of stock for a long while, so that was a non-starter, too. I sampled a handful of the foundations you mentioned and have found two I think I will really like: the Seamless Skin by Lisa Eldridge, and one that you tested in a separate video, the Sneaky Balm by Salt New York. We share a similar skin color as well as a preference for light-to-medium coverage, both of which have been helpful, but also surprising in that some of the brands that worked for you were a fail for me colorwise. For instance, I couldn't find a good shade match in the Westman Atelier stick (Atelier 1 was too yellow), nor the Sisley or Chantecaille cushions. The Surratt Dew Drop looked really interesting but I found the tester hard to dispense so I gave up. Thanks for this and your other reviews, I've learned about a lot of promising-sounding new products since I've started watching your channel!

I think my two favourite luxury foundations are probably the Dior Backstage Face and Body Foundation (I use the shade 0N, and it is perfect for me) and the Sensai CP Cream Foundation (which I use in the shade CF11). The Sensai especially is NO work at all, I just put it on and blend it in with my fingers most days. Add a little more and blend that with a sponge if I want more coverage. But yeah, those two are absolutely beautiful foundations!

So I just sat down yesterday to get rid of some make up and came up with my “top 5”. I also have dry skin (mine in more mature than your skin) and ALL MINE were in your list except I prefer La Mer Soft Fluid to the sunscreen ! And I did not purchase mine based on your recommendations! Haha. So I guess I should be buying your top picks going forward! ❤️ (my favs were Chanel Water Tint, Chanel No 1, Surratt Dew Drop, koh gen doh and La Mer)

Yeah, I'm a shade twin to u and bought the Chantecaille future skin tint cushion bk when u first tried it. I also tried it in shade vanilla, and it's like pinky orange clay colored. I was shocked, esp with their shade description. I wasn't able to send bk, so I'm stuck with an expensive foundation that doesn't loom right on my just bc the shade is so weird. I reached out to Chantecaille for help to figure out my shade, and they said the next shade b4 vanilla is my shade, which I think is alabaster. I believe it's the 2nd shade from the lightest. I'm usually really careful when picking a shade online, esp, but I just didn't know what to do when it came to their cushion now, I know.

Hey Michele ^^ I would like to see Dolce&Gabbana faoundations and also makeup stuff since as I mentioned they started to have closer price range as Tom Ford, it also has bunch of positive comments but I can trust only you Michele, let us know about Dolce&Gabbana in your video please ^^
