@@parallaxis_6243 I get what you mean and I totally agree with that. But you shouldn't use "opposite gender role" since it might be offensive to some people. Let's just say they fit with all or they are all-rounders 🤗
@@snowyy007 It's not offensive at all. If the dance is from a guy-group, it would be a "male role," whereas girl group dances fit the "female role." They proved that the actual gender doesn't matter in filling those roles. I personally wish that these roles would stop being so defined, but that's not gonna happen any time soon (especially not in the k-pop industry). K-pop dances obviously aren't meant to be entirely gender neutral (with exceptions like Taemin-Move, BTS-Idol, etc.) so seeing Ellen slay moves like popping and locking (typically meant for guys)/Brian not being afraid of a little Twice was great. Society created gender roles, not me. I wish they weren't as present as they are, but it is what it is. At least people like Ellen and Brian prove that society's expectations of you don't define your potential as a dancer or anything else.
@@parallaxis_6243 I agree with society creates gender roles. But many people are not like the defined roles, they're...different, and some hate these words for calling specific genders, so they might get offended. That's what I'm saying. I think in about 40 years? these roles will be not so defined as it is now, but one thing for sure is not in the near future, especially in the K-Pop industry, cuz, duh, Asians ._.
@@snowyy007 Don't generalize all Asians as being against undefined gender roles. And no need to say "...different." Nonbinary isn't a curse word. Society has created gender roles, and there's nothing we can do about that. I don't like that these roles exist. That's why I'm proud of Ellen and Brian for proving these roles can be filled by anyone. Non-binary people have no reason to get offended at statements like these (believe me; I would know). There''s absolutely nothing offensive or questionable about what I'm saying, and I don't know why you're creating unnecessary drama.
Get you a boi let Brian. Someone who’s kind enough Dance with you and be so good at it. You two are adorable tbh. I always come to your channel because your tutorials are pretty helpful & understandable. Thank you!
Ice Hebar srsly? you're talking about your "babies" bts?! when this video's clearly about ellen and brian's cover ?!!!!! this is bullshit , you are bullshit and this is also one of the reasons why i hate bts' fandom , honestly disgusting
