This was great. Thank you! Haaland seems a bit over-represented on this list. I could imagine a couple other versions of this (in case you're interested) -- (1) top 15 cards by decade and/or (2) top 15 cards by player.
@@UsmntSoccerCards I’ve been thinking lately about how Maradona ranks as an all time great. Amazing talent and fun to watch but if you look at the stats he’s only a good player. Karim Benzema has way better stats and nobody considers him an all time great. I don’t even think Maradona cracks the top 100 in career goals scored. Maradona’s appeal appears to be more nostalgic. Not sure if that will hold up over time.
@@soluscristus1 I think the problem is you're relying too heavily on goals. It's an easy metric to measure by, but it eliminates practically everyone who isn't a striker/goal scoring winger. By those metrics, Pulisic is better all time than Beckenbauer.
